She's really funny. Loved her. This past holiday season, I saw, for the first time, a lead, a woman, who was in a wheelchair, which for a Hallmark movie is unusual enough, but she also didn't have to be as the character didn't require it and it wasn't really discussed but a brief sentence or two. She was a writer and got a love story and none of it was about being disabled. I just appreciated seeing that so much and wrote to them on email and Twitter to praise them for branching out in this important way. Big departure the last couple years I've noticed from the stunning blonde and the hottie lumberjack type and she pretty much gives up her successful career to go to nowhereville to be with him-and it frustrates me so much. I love seeing that they're branching out. This year, the lumberjack even went to the big city for HER. Progress. lol Love to see it.
What really? Hallmark didn’t just recycle their last few hundred movies into a new movie they probably had to google the purposed title for to make sure they didn’t already use it! Shocking! 😂
And also, the series Loki had a disabled woman as one of the head persons of the TVA but no one questioned her ability or power because that had nothing to do with her being in a wheelchair.
Shannon, you were noticeably AWESOME in “Most Likely Not to.” Very impressive singing & acting. It was super entertaining, kudos to all who worked so hard putting it together!
I’m 52 and have mild cerebral palsy and epilepsy so I think this is so fabulous 🩷 I am not a wheelchair user but, I have a severe limp and very little use of my left arm and hand. God Bless you for bringing this world to life for everyone 😊🙏
I hope I get a chance to watch this show. When Shane said it was full of sarcastic humor, that did it for me. I grew up with that kind of humor, so I know I would enjoy it.
First off I have to say "Most Likely Not You" was very well done. Shannon is incredible in it. The main reason I am commenting on this video is the last question focusing on the fact that watching what or how much you drink is a real obstacle that many people with disabilities has to overcome. I know anytime I go out a anywhere it is on the forefront of my mind. Last summer my brother was going to have a party at a restaurant and asked me check out the bathroom. The bathroom was not accessible and he changed the venue. I am very lucky to have that kind of support but these places need to start complying with the ADA.
Hi Shannon, as I saw you I was wondering "what is the name of this actress who played a lawyer in Netflix serie "insatiable"" ? So I did my researches while listening to the episode and it is you !!! you were hilarious !!
I can't wait to watch it is going to be a blast. By the way my 50th class reunion is coming up this summer and I'm going to find out who's already dead and who I outlived❤
I guess I am late to the party! But I just watched the performance, and really enjoyed it! I did have to pee from about the halfway point, and I held it til the end! So proud of that! Gotta boogie now, or we might have cleanup in aisle one!!
I'm 15 minutes and 3 seconds in. And i would love to see authenticity with people who are in real wheelchairs or have real disabilities playing roles instead of a normal non disabled person who doesn't in real life use a wheelchair. It has really bugged me ever since I was a small child. I'm so happy that you are able to cast people with real disabilities and wheelchair to act and perform. Shannon, you are Amazing, Brilliant and such a beautiful woman and person ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
i have a question - i saw one of your videos about you as a couple and there was one scene where you used matts for the beach to drive the wheelchair. That is a genius idea! We also have a son in a wheelchair. My question is: can you say what mats did you used for that ? Are their special or can you use every mat? Thanks in advance :)
LOL. I heard barking and I was wondering if that was my dog. I went and asked my wife why my dog was barking. She told me it wasn't our dog. LOL Then came back to this video and it was Shannon's dog. :P
Haha yay for Quokka's (pr Kwokka). Im from Perth and Rotto (Rottnest Island) is a couple of hours away by ferry. For lots of high schools, at least one of the school trips is to Rotto and you discover all the people who get seasick!!! They are cute looking but sadly there aren't many left.
She is sooo funny, I'm definitely looking up her work to watch.. I mostly watch Shane and Hanna and few other youtubers, but, I'm gonna give a movie a try.
Hi Shannon we went to edinboro together ( a million years ago). My partner and I watched you in lucky hank and the episode where you all went to Hanks house drive us crazy. You left after the argument they had and we kept looking for a ramp on the house but there wasn't one lol. Did you have any input to things like that on the show?
I checking out this video. And she end up talking about, one of my favorite animals. Love it, I'm. a big fan of Quokkas as well. A Quokka is from, Kangaroo family. And they are the most adorable happy animals ever. You can not look at one, with smiling. May God Bless all of you. And keep you all in good health. In Jesus Name
I did not see a time for the live stream posted on the website and cannot get the video over there to play to see if the time is in there. What time (in which time zone) will it play on the 29th?
Go to your high school reunion ALONE~ and be like, “Yeah, I’m on TV. How do you like me, now!?” I’m going to my 20 year high school reunion in July~ and absolutely CANNOT wait to be looking ALL HOT and DEVELOPED ( if you know what I mean), and like “Hi. It’s me. I’m the president, now!!!” You totally get what I mean here, though!! Happy days and happy DAZE!!! Happy Easter and Spring again~ in 2024🆕💒🌈🎵🥰☦️🎶🌹😇☮️❤️🎁🆒✅☯️♾️ 10:43
I think she was in an episode of Manifest, the episode where Ben is on trial in the courthouse and the judge votes everything against him and everything starts really going south for him and the passengers of flight 828. I think she was Ben’s attorney in that episode.
Shannon DaVido WHAAATTT?! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Ahhhh I’m so pumped for the Thursday debut…just wish I could be there in-person but you better be sure I’ll be watching the live stream. CAN’T WAIT! 🤩💥🎉
During my last high school reunion, a former classmate ask why I was not dead yet. It is automatically assumed that people with cerebral palsy do not live normal lives. What kind of person wishes a person dead? That is like telling an African-American person that they should be in jail by now. There is a word for these assumptions. It's call prejudice. People need to learn that a disability does not in no way dictate life expectancy. I told my humble classmate that I was going to die when the good Lord calls me to heaven and they start selling Coca-Cola up there. Personally, I hope to live a long and prosperous life like Commander Spock in Star Trek. They Shane & Hannah should put me in the musical. I can't sing, but I can act. I act like a fool every day, especially around girls. I could play an old crippled teacher with bad clothes and a grumpy disposition. Think about it!
Although I didn’t hear Shannon mention the name of her disability I assume she also has SMA. I am not disabled and usually pass by an individual in a wheel chair the same way I would any other stranger on the street - no eye contact and just moving on. If I should make eye contact I smile briefly and walk on by. If I were to be in a social situation with someone with a disability is there a polite way of asking the nature of his or her disability or should one not ask?

I’m 52 and have mild cerebral palsy and epilepsy so I think this is so fabulous 🩷 I am not a wheelchair user but, I have a severe limp and very little use of my left arm and hand. God Bless you for bringing this world to life for everyone 😊🙏
Bright Blessings to you. 🎉🎉🎉

That bathroom answer is so true. I have CP and use a wheelchair and I think about bathrooms and water way too much😊. I enjoyed your musical.
I totally get the pee thing! I can walk and all my stuff works and yet, PEE! What a nice interview. Hope everything goes well with the show.
Great interview, I love Shannon's spark and sense of humor! Most Likely Not To was excellent!

I loved her in Difficult People!!!
I guess I am late to the party! But I just watched the performance, and really enjoyed it! I did have to pee from about the halfway point, and I held it til the end! So proud of that! Gotta boogie now, or we might have cleanup in aisle one!!

Yaay! 🙌 Shout out to the Quokka!! Pronounced differently though. More like crock /quokka. They are indeed totally adorable and unique. 🥰

Great show & interview guys!
This comedy is going to be SO good.
Oh gosh, I can imagine the pee thing/think. That was me when I was in Europe, or on flights. Pee planning. Totally get it.
LOL. I heard barking and I was wondering if that was my dog. I went and asked my wife why my dog was barking. She told me it wasn't our dog. LOL Then came back to this video and it was Shannon's dog. :P
Like Shane, I had never heard of a quokka but now I’m obsessed!

so funny Shannon you got a good since of humor ❤😎
Daniel Day Lewis did a good disabled person in My Left Foot, but yes, it's more authentic when you cast people with actual disabilities.
