    I used to do this ALL the time! I'd rent a house, never with any curtains. Used to be able to find white sheets in the thrift stores for cheap. U can make them look SO nice!

      @@TheJessTayls They DID! Some times I even used just a stapler, but if u staple from the back and do it evenly, u never can notice the staples. The sheets look so fresh and clean. U still get lots of light.

    Thank you for this video!!! I just purchased 6 twin xl flats from Walmart and clips from Amazon! I will need to get 10 more twin xl flat sheets for all of my windows!! I'm so excited that I found this video as I was dreading the high cost of pleated curtains!! Can't wait to hang mine in our new townhouse!!!!

    Oh my gosh!!!!!!! You just literally opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me!!! Love this idea!! Not only sheets but also you could use those wall tapestries that are everywhere now and come in like a bagillion colors and prints!! I have been searching for curtains for my bedroom for months and I finally bought a pair and got them hung up and they're just... meh. But now I think I've got a new plan thanks to you! So thank you! Liked and subscribed!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

    Beautiful idea I use to cut a hole in the top of the flat sheet and run a regular curtain rod through it but this is much nicer Thank-you!

    My issue is finding affordable rods long enough. My window is about 15ft and both that and long curtains are so hard to get in Jamaica and expensive to ship

    • @antoinette4995
      @antoinette4995 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@empresslee8764 Hi, did you ever find anywhere in Jamaica (or elsewhere) to get the rid/curtains?

    • @empresslee8764
      @empresslee8764 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @antoinette4995 no so I had to do a little hack. I joined 4 rods together. So as u know, 1 pack of rod has 2 diff sizes. So start with a bigger 1 for eg, then a small, then a big, then a small. Was grateful for the tip.

    Does anyone know whether a tension rod would hold these up or whether they need to be screwed to the wall?

    • @TheJessTayls
      @TheJessTayls  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it depends on how long you are wanting them to be- the longer the rod is the less it can hold up. To be safe I always suggest a rod that is screwed into the wall.

    What's twin size sheets. Is it single bed sheets?

    • @TheJessTayls
      @TheJessTayls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      These are flat sheets for “XL TWIN”. One flat sheet for each panel. If you google “XL TWIN FLAT SHEET” you may be able to find them!

    Question: How high is your ceiling? Mine is 10 ft. Would like to know if the twin size will work for mine. Thanks!

    • @TheJessTayls
      @TheJessTayls  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe our ceilings are 9 feet... or 9.5 I am honestly not 100% sure. but you can always put the rod higher or lower on your wall.

    Can queen or king sheets be used?

    • @TheJessTayls
      @TheJessTayls  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m sure they can… but the reason I used twin XL is because they are a little longer and they aren’t as wide. I recommend measuring your wall and then googling the dimensions of the sheets. That way you can fully customize!
