    To get wrinkles out of clothes and sheets just throw them in the dryer with a towel for about 20 minutes. I’m telling you it’s a life saver 🤗💕 Loved the video btw.

    I bleached washed and dyed mine. They are a glorious sunny yellow. I used Rit dye - lemon yellow- and the rit dye fixative. I did it in my washer so it was super easy and the results were amazing.

    Oh, Becca, you gave me a great idea...or if you want blackout curtains for your bedroom...you can buy the blackout material at a fabric store and replicate what you did on a double rod or another rod behind it!!

    What color are these drop clothes? They look darker when they’re up versus when they are laid on the floor. They look beautiful and I’m seriously considering this!

    Curtain rings, is more descriptive but you can call them loops, as you already did. I am doing the drop cloth curtains .

    Can I ask if you found any variance in the dimensions of the panels? All the drop cloths I've ever purchased (for painting) have never seemed perfectly symmetrical or carefully sewn. Considering what their intended use is that's understandable, but maybe they make more precise ones now for uses such as this?

    Just a tip that if you wash them beforehand they will be much softer, and when I made mine I hung them and then took a steamer over them so that the ironing process was less of a hassle.

      Gail Freese I was actually thinking that afterwards!! Prob would have taken the starchy-ness down. I need to get a steamer!

    If you wash and bleached them they becomes softer

  • @kathykerwin1294

    You need to raise the Tod's higher, closer to the ceiling. In addition, you need to extend the width of the rods about 8" on both sides so the curtains don't look cowded up and covering the window. And finally, you need to pinch pleat the curtains on each ring to look less sloppy.

    Oops sorry, you do call them rings. I actually like them being maybe an inch and a half off the carpet for cleaning. One comment by an individual with disabilities was about a wheel chair and how draperies on the floor is a hazard. Your video was entertaining and informative!

  • @josiqstevens
    @josiqstevens 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Pre washing is highly recommended not just for the smell but for shrinkage. They are 100% cotton so when you wash you could lose several inches. You'll be disappointed if that happens after they are made.
