- This video is start to finish on how we made this beautiful Murphy bed. I cut alot out of it because it was so long so if you do have a question, please let me know and we will be happy to explain something further. We are currently doing a CTC conversion. This is by far the best design I have seen for a murphy bed. We are planning a twin size murphy and I was wondering if you could tell me the exact bracket name you used or maybe a link to one where they can be purchased. We plan to have a 10" thick foam mattress for ours so finding brackets that would work like this would be amazing.
We just used a piano hinge and a Winch to move it up and down. Very simple install. Thanks for watching.
