- I finally finished the build of my cargo camper! Then I finally put this video together :)
This is the full build from start to finish showing all the major step and the finished product.
Check out my other videos for detailed breakdowns of each step. Let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for watching!
Since I've gotten so many questions about the cost, I put together a short video breaking down how much it cost

Well done mate.
Made with pride and attention to detail.
Good job and enjoy your labour.
I guarantee it is built much better than any trailer you could buy today.
How much is it a hassle to take to rv resorts? Some of them won’t allow homemade builds like this. Is it ever a problem for you guys?
This is absolutely the best conversion trailer camper that I have ever seen..awesome job.
One of the best builds I have seen, and the wannabes still want to tell you shoulda, coulda, woulda, but haven't.
I concur
For real man, I'm so tired of people being so damn hateful. This man just made a really nice camper.
Great job bro. Looks amazing.
Great build, well thought through. Thank you.
I have seen a bunch of build vids and I really like how you did a step by step tutorial with a pretty basic layout

You have no idea how therapeutic it was watching this whole vide. Thank you so much.
Of all the HUNDREDS of builds I've seen, THIS WAS THE MOST HELPFUL😀❣️
Agreed!
I am a seamstress and know how difficult matching angles and patterns can be. You did a great job making diamonds at the end of your cushions! The whole build looks great!
My husband is a retired BA for 22,000 union carpenters and he said you did an excellent job on this build-out. It’s amazing! Peace and Blessings
Thank you..thank you...thank you!! It's hard to find someone who shows all the how to dos! I needed this!
all jokes aside this is actually one of the more impressive builds out there. I admire your work sir.
Great video!! Just what I was looking for!!! All the necessities without all the fillers!!!
The vinyl flooring attached to the wall with the white molding is outstanding..!! Great job with the whole built, looks very comfy..👍🏽
It's probably one of the best step by step video on how to complete this build. Nicely done!
Man you nailed it ! Awesome build very professional.
I love how well you explain the process without being long winded. And the build is amazing. Gave me lots of ideas
Finally a cargo trailer that’s not a v nose. I’ve been looking for something I can get inspiration from an I like everything you did here. I’ll just have to do something else for my bed cause I want to haul my bike. You did a great job thanks for sharing
I saw a Murphy bed on another vid, very nice built, it's for their viper
Love how you made a dry bath 🚿
The rear doors can open up to some cool opportunities. Add an awning and a screen, and you can potentially have a great view during meals or enjoying a frosty beverage.
Yeah I love how it opens up the space so much
I really enjoyed watching your video. I love that you don't talk unnecessary BS! Beautiful job👏
I am so impressed, not just with your build, but also the video. You did an excellent job of filming and describing your work. There area ton of sub-par videos on this subject. Yours rises well above most I have seen.
Thank you so much!
This is the best one I have seen yet
Great build and nice narration. Enjoy!!
Fantastic job on this build. You seem to have considered everything. Enjoy!
I am soooo glad I bumped into your channel. This is the second video of yours that Ive watched and I must say that you create with the intent to teach, and I thank you for that. Other people just talk and talk and talk and their video is 25 mics long. You speed up your videos also to abbreviate the length. As a newbie, the only input I can offer is maybe slow your speech a little and offer the make and model of the items youre installing. Other than that, I cannot thank you enough for your time and effort to help others. God Bless you sir! 👍
what an amazing build Especially for your first time incredibly impressive. You should be proud of yourself.‼️
Thank you for sharing this build!! My husband and I are making plans to live off-grid and nomadic. All things being built for success, he is required to have his own man cave...uh, trailer. My image is that his private space will be pulled behind our stealth wagon.
All the things you have put in your trailer are what we are looking to have for him... except a soaking tub instead of a shower.
Thank you for sharing!!
For people doing vinyl on walls, or floor, it's best to use a 1/16" V-notch trowel(1/8" for floors if level, 3/16"-1/4" if uneven surface)to spread the mastic(glue), it will give you a much more uniform, and reliable surface to stick your vinyl to. I'd also suggest using a multi-purpose mastic, to get with moisture, mold, and water proofing.
AWES😄ME, PRESENTATION❗
Beautiful job. I really liked it ALL.
To the point, short & sweet. 😁👌👍
I like it a lot. What else would one need. Maybe a door for the bathroom and a diesel heater. But thats totally up to you. I would be very happy to have one like yours, and a car to pull it 😅. Happy traveling!
Fantastic build and great video! 👍 😀
Amazing build! Saving this for future reference if I decide to venture into this lifestyle. Thanks a bunch. 🇨🇦😉
Hello. Very neet work. The vinyle flooring to the walls is genius.
Thanks for this series. I’m literally copying your build ideas. Minus the shower and bed as I need that space for my ATV. I love the shiplap roof and the glue on fake wood walls.
Where your sink is I’m gonna put a cubic mini grizzly. And then have a stove and sink.
I’m probably gonna get the bottom of the trailer spray foamed.
If you guys want I can post my progress so far
Looks great! Thanks for sharing and inspiring people like me!
Fabtastic ! esp love the vinyl floor wall covering- brilliant
The separate toilet in the batheroom is a winner! This was fun to watch and turned out great! Depending upon houw long it took you, you can make some money turning out this model and a 16' model as well!
If we cross paths you'll know why my walls are vinyl. Great build.......Top Notch
You have given me some great ideas for a cargo conversion build that I would like to do I’m retired and want to travel the country and so therefore I’m looking for ideas that will last long as I will be living in this most of the time… thank you in advance for any input that you can offer
Awesome trailer home! I would like a window maybe those elongated ones each doors in the back .. otherwise it's perfect!
That's a beauty, this is definitely something I would love to do once my finances allow me to, I'm really impressed that you were able to add the bathroom, I always thought there wouldn't be enough space but you proved me wrong
The ceiling is perfect with the gap between shiplap an insulation makes a thermal barrier
yo this is the best conversion i ever seen exactly how i would like it if i had one.Great job be proud of yourself.
Wow nicely done sir
Genius ! Great build
Outstanding!! This is one of the best build videos I have seen.
Great looking build.
Damn what a great job. Be proud of your accomplishment!
What a beautiful camper. You did a fabulous job on it. Love the bathroom. Peace!
Thanks for sharing this build. The layout is very practical. Saving it for reference when I get a cargo trailer to convert. Ten 👍
I love it and it looks great thank you for sharing 😊
Looks good dude.
Great video! I was nice to be able to see all the steps you took throughout the project as opposed to just seeing a few photos and then an end product. Nice job.
Great build. I like the way you illustrated all the major builds steps in this relatively short video!
I love the way your trailer turned out, great job! If you wind up having any leaks down the road on windows or roof, try butyl tape and dicor. What you did with the walls is genius!
I was thinking the same thing about the butyl tape and dicor for the attchement of the roof vent and windows.
Excellent job young man. You are very talented. Continued blessings on your future projects.
Great job dude. I’ve had the itch to do this for some time now. I own a custom cabinetry shop, so I’ve got the gear to really kick it up a few notches, but I think that’s what holds me back is my projects tend to grow in both scale and cost! You did a great job checking off all the boxes without going nuts! Hope you have a blast with it!
I'll bet yours would look so much better with your cabinetry expertise. That was probably the part of this project that turned out the 'roughest'.
Oh man i learned so much from this channel than i did watching other TH-camrs. Definitely sticking to this channel to learn how to build stuff
OUTSTANDING BUILD & VIDEO. Thanks so much for sharing!
Great build. I just picked up the same trailer but all aluminum with a drop down rear door. Thank you for taking the time to create this video
The drop down door would make a dandy floor for a screen porch. I'd still have a side awning, but you could also camp in Minnesota with impunity. 😁😁
Great video! Currently building a skoolie, and this was fun to watch. Looks like it took you no time.
Nice build brother!
Thanks!
Spectacular build......very impressive
Very cool, thanks for posting this. I’m getting inspired to do my own.
Thank you for making this video. Great all around.
Your voice sounds like Gale from breaking bad. Nice video.
Great job. It came out looking solid and well designed. 🤙👍💪
Great job on the build guys. Turned out amazing. Safe & Happy travels!
Looking good, your wall cover idea I have used many time. Great job.💯👍
Looks really nice, good job.
I love your build love the thick cushions its perfect. I just worry about those batteries. But damn i love that flooring it looks thin too. But like real wood.
Thanks for all the great ideas! About to start doing one of my own and looking for a head full of ideas of how to do it.
talk about skill. came out awesome dude. i like the layout and kept it simple to meet basic needs. I like that. the most impressive part is you did it by yourself. hell yeah you gave cool ideas. the solar panels put a adjustment like you said.
WOW,
You did an excellent job in converting your trailer.
I’m sure I could figure out how to do something like this, but I have problems with vision and it’s difficult for me to see the right measurements.
Although the grey and black tank straps are likely galvanized, id still probably paint them for looks and more structural integrity from oxidization, but i freaking absolutely love the vinyl walls, ill definitely be doing that on my conversion, probably same color to, but possibly brown wood look over grey ,but grey for floors
Is there a bathroom door? I didn't see a slider or pocket door, great build, very nice. Perfectly done by you. Don't worry about what others say on the negative side either. Unless it's a fire safety or something like that. Take it with a grain of salt. It's a great little place. Hey if your in the dog house with the wife you have a roof over your head lol. You just need a TV. Lol
Turned out beautiful you did a great job on it👍‼️
A wonderful build, You did a great job.
Great build
You did a great job, congratulations..!!
Thank you so much for the great video ! I appreciate how easy going you seem compared to others as far as sharing what you would do different and overall ideas.
You did a really good looking job every thing seemed to be well planned out my wife and I did the same thing converting a cargo trailer into a camper it's a tandem axle. Also in my opinion they are stronger built than your average camper we really injoy it im not sure where you live but if you have never been there give fountain blue a try in Mandeville you want be disappointed
Damn nice looking rig been thinking about doing one myself
I'm getting ready to do the exact same trailer. You gave me some great ideas!
What is your tow vehicle?
How has the floor held up, has it separated anywhere?
Looking forward to more videos!,
Talent galore! Best build ever 😎
Nice job, that looks great! I really like the table/bed area. My wife and I are thinking about doing the same thing but with 6x10 or 6x12 trailer. Thanks for the inspiration.
Awesome work! This is next on my build list.
You obviously have some serious skills. Great video, thanks. Do you have links to all your supplies for this build? Also, have much time did it actually take from start to finish and what was the cost?
Nice work! I'd do something similar but a lighter like substitute a camp shower like a Joolca Nomad instead of framing in a shower stall and blacktank. That way you can move the shower depending on the mission. I'm looking at an Intel mini frame pool 4x4 for plenty of space.
When I saw you relaxing on the bed with the rear doors wide open and the forest coming in, I said, "OK, that's now in my design!" Thanks for a great video of a great build. I once saw a list of your suppliers but now I can't find it. Anybody know where it is??
Pretty cool build, much more modern looking than many of the other builds I've been watching. I'm somewhat of a minimalist and want something modern looking, so was looking at having only a bed, refrigerator, A/C, and power obviously (solar too). I see many people install 120v A/C power, and sometimes I think it's wasteful/unnecessary, especially with a lot of accessories now being 12v or less, LED lighting, etc..
You did a great job ....
Nicely done some great ideas!
Could you post the links to all your camper parts? I would love to Don a conversion like this. Thanks! Great vid!
Loved your conversion and how straightforward it was. are you business to build these? You should!! Single moms like myself would pay top dollar
I am new to all of this. But I just bought a 6×12 Double Axles trailer and want to build something just like you. I love the job you did. Anyway your building them for people. Where are you located I would bring it to you. Lol
Very nice my friend. Very nice.
Excellent video.
You explained the process well. Question??? How can you keep cool in that??? Mine was so hot in the summer, and freezing in the winter.. I only used it to bring toys, bedding n such to northern Michigan..
Well done. Curious about the wiring. Did you drill holes in the studs to bring down to boxes? And did the boxes stick out a fair bit as they are normally deeper than the walls of these trailers. I’m working on mine and looks like I need to drill 1” or 3/4 hole for the 14/2 wire. Any advice?
VERY well done!!!!!
Nice job you are doing keep going
