This is probably one of the best methods I’ve seen so far of adding a bed. I’ve been watching TH-cam videos for two weeks now because I’m trying to modify a cargo trailer into a barbecue competition trailer. I appreciate you bro.
Wow! Even my 14- year- old son was interested in this video! I especially liked the simple and effective bed rail bracket secured against the wall. I think this would work very well for the horizontal bed I want to install in my future build.
Hey bud, keep making content. I have used your fold down bed plan in my home. I bolted aluminum together and made my bed frame together. My box spring fits nicely in there. Thanks for the idea . I'd love to see you do one in your home ....
You killed it bro absolutely Genius. My trailer is a 7 x 16 interior height 66 but about 3 1/2 inches are taken away because of flooring and insulation so I’m gonna do something very similar to this. I appreciate your content.
For some reason I've missed a few videos. Oh well time to binge and boost your session times at the same time. Well done. Very simple hinge like design. 👍 But it shows what my 12 year old daughter would say.... definitely using Big Brain.
A great and elegant design to do this. I noticed you had another person to help with moving the end of the bed into the locked position. Is it easily manageable for one person to do this?
A little bit of back and forth with one person but definitely manageable. I would say if it is difficult for someone I would suggest adding a hand crank on the wall for support.
Hi , brilliant Murphy style bed ( talented or what) . I do prefer the rise n fall bed though ( could you use counterweights to pull that system up- down ?love to see you do a video on that ). 🏴
@@wilty5 I’ve never had an issue with mold but can totally understand when condensation forms this could be an issue. Thank you for the tip I’ll have to check this in the fall!
Depending on the depth with the box spring and the roof height? If you are using your trailer to haul anything I would say don’t use a box spring. Just my suggestion

Nicely done. Same mechanism side-board could hide inside a wall mount bookcase look in a home as well. So simple... well done.
Thank you!
Great job
Simple, Cheap, effective, and off the shelf legs. I love it. I will use that exact design. Great Job! Thanks.

You have a great design ability. Those u shape track brackets are what i needed to see. I will expand on your design for my king bed in my trailer
Thank you! Good luck on your bed build!
Ty for the design. I think I’ll end up using something similar for a Murphy bed in a low roof van. Appreciate it
@@beckmanchilds756 Thanks for watching!
The thicker angle iron would been perfect for legs on ends of bed, since they could fold into frame being same shape angle
This is a great idea!

I like to keep it simple. Haha a little bit of my Big Brain used!!! 😂
Really clever engineering, great setup, thanks for sharing!
Thank you!

Great video. Thank you so much 😊
Gave a subscribe for this! So simple. I was way over complicating it 😂 this will work perfectly. Cheers!
Thank you, happy to hear I could help!
Great way to build your own
Would tell the TH-cam cargo trailer the size of the bracket

awsome! it gives me all kinds of ideas! Thank you!

Good job like it
Great idea! Thanks
Excellent custom bed build. Isn’t it necessary to drill holes in the plywood base for moisture control to help prevent mold?

very clever!
Im.trying to build mine great stuff
I plan to have a box spring as well. How do I adjust the cut out on the plywood?
Love this!

What size is the bed I’m looking to do a queen size bed.
Genius
Thank you!
I'm in 5 by 8 so I need room but love bigger bed
Quality ❤
Whats the dimensions of the board to lock in and out for the bed?
Good question it really depends on your situation as my rear board is a bit bigger due to the rear of the trailer being a ramp
True I was just seeing if you had some dimensions to go off of
@@westonwhite7722 I am out of town but I’ll try and get you something on the weekend
What size mattress did you use
