I have been using an A770 LE for about two months now. Apart from a strange monitor issue when waking from sleep the experience has been very good. What made me go for the Arc card was the fact that they keep getting better as new drivers are released, which makes me feel that the GPUs will age very, very well in the future.
I've been using nothing but Intel ARC since launch and i have no plans to ever go back to AMD or Nvidia GPU's
I bought an A380 for Plex transcoding and to encode my library into AV1 to save space, works awesome for that! I have a pair of A770s I've picked up too cheap to turn down and am putting together a PC for at least one of them right now but haven't used them. I really wish they'd put some effort into their drivers for VR as my next gaming PC is going to be for the living room as a dedicated VR system.
A770LE here since March. Was fine with many indie games. Worst was the month of Starfield without proper driver. 16GB helped somewhat as many A750 owners couldn't play at all due to VRAM overuse. I'm disappointed somewhat as it seems DX12 titles need special driver care now too.
I've been using an A750 for a couple of months. At the very least I feel well treated as a customer about the pace and extent of the driver updates. Intel is trying to win me and keep me, and I respect this. And I'm trying to make the most of AV1 for content creation on top of everything I can squeeze for gaming experiences.
Amazing and very professional delivery of info! Thanks for what you do, could you possibly in the near future revisit the arc 750 vs the 770 in 1080 and 1440p? I heard they got even more desirable driver updates recently, and I think they’ve improved dx11 and older for older titles, thanks again for the informative videos!
They will be re-visited again 🙂
@@TechLabUK thank you again for taking the time to do all this in depth testing and enjoyable learning experience:)
A770-16GB here and extremely happy.
Not a single ingame crash to date...even using VR.
can you test yuzu / ryujinx with vulcan api on intel arc a750 mine just crashes
Arc a750 or rx 6600? Which one I should get.? Main target is gaming and very slightly productive works like excel, powerbi, websurfing etc. As arc a750 is latest compare to rx 6600, would it be more future-proof? What about tje driver issues. It's my first pc and Will be using this for 3,4 years minumum for gaming. In my Country, both cards come with the same price.
What about the power consumption
A750 LE daily use since launch - but also a daily linux user do my drivers were never really an issue and had no issues like windows users - very happy of it, even with its "issues" it is still a great card
I am really hoping for Alchemist+ or Battlemage
also - trying to get A770 BiFrost
I see so many people saying how you shouldn't use them as "Daily Drivers" but never had an issue myself. Have run one in the studio gaming rig since launch and always been great.
Hi bro, what about power consumption of ARC A 750 ?
@@FaisalMagnet225w
Love my Arc A770LE, really has come into it's own this last 2 months with the huge performance uplifts seen across the board really.
Worth noting that the very latest driver update nearly doubled my performance in Starfield and fixed all the visual bugs I was getting.
Halo Infinite now runs Ultra settings at around 100fps which is absolutely epic, since it's a demanding game.
I own a 750. It was very good experience for me as i upgrade from NVIDIA gt710 . where i was getting 30 frame in very low 360p ress.i appreciate intel effort as ,i was able to buld new cpu at cost of 1 NVIDIA RTX 3060 TI. yes it has some issues but mostly it can be fix
Hi bro, what about power consumption of ARC A 750 ?
I don't have exact number. Power consumption is little high
I picked up the Sparkle A 770 16 Gb Titan just to play with some, it been ok so far with of my issues fixed in the beta 4900 driver for Alan Wake II.
A750 LE since Feb, so far so good, it has been a smooth experience until Starfield and pretty sure that has to do with drivers and not the card itself.
So in the future with driver updates those issues will be fixed? i am considering buying it and I would be grateful for a little bit of insight
@@antondatta8293yes
@@antondatta8293 Eventually yes, it's not just Intel's fault, 3060ti barely gives 40+ FPS in 1080p settings which is pretty close to A770. BGS is at fault as well, the game was not optimized at all and they just started optimizing with immense pressure from the customers.
@@lordshitpost31 thx for the info man.
@@antondatta8293 As of now, Starfield runs fine, between 40-80 FPS at medium settings 1080p native resolution.
Admire intel for doing what they did - I just hope they keep up with it. Had they released at the beginning of the GPUpocalypse they would be in a much better place.
They missed the boat there didn't they but at least they pushed forward and gave us something really interesting. Can't wait to see next generation.
Had an A770 LE 16gb for a year now. I love it. Only problems I had with it was one driver update messed up my display settings, wouldn't show up on one monitor, had to Uninstall and reinstall the driver again. Worked fine. Then there was the starfield issue. Which, I havnt played it since the 9th of September. Not because of the card, but because I think the game is dog doo.
Playes all my games fine, only crashes I have are mod related. I use a lot of them. Play old stuff on gog with no issues. For the price when I bought it, it was excellent, still is. Plus was the only one in price range with a 256 bit bus. Which is really what I look for in a gpu. Sure vram is nice. But that high bus width really is king. Looking forward to battlemage.
do a750 vs 2014
its just as good, i even think it has less fps drops than radeons
Is this card suitable for 5700G processor with B550 motherboard?
Should be fine.
Definitely
That video title makes no sense at all.
I’m not a gamer but have a A770 LE in my main rig because I love the design of the card and do trust Intel. It has been super stable in the past months. I did even buy a A750 LE as a spare card.
good work mate.
Thanks
A750 LE since may. Smooth an stable but can be software bottlenecked at times.
Hi bro, what about power consumption of ARC A 750 ?
@@FaisalMagnet Not very efficient, 40W at idle and 190W at load.
DOSBox doesn't work with the Arc cards anymore in Windows 10, since about 3 months ago with driver 4676. I really like my Arc a750 a lot, but I have a lot of old games from GOG and Steam that depend on DOSBox working. From what I've read Intel is dismissive of this problem, and may never fix it, so I'll have to eventually switch back to my AMD card, can't stay with the old Arc driver forever just to have DOSBox work. If you don't need DOSBox, then the Arc is a great card.

@@muaj9472 I actually like the Arc a750 better than the rx 6600xt. The a750 is about 15+ % faster than the 6600xt, and the 6600 non xt would be a good bit slower than the 6600xt. The only problem with the Arc is that right now DOSBox doesn't work with them, so if you plan on doing any retro gaming with old games downloaded from Steam or GOG, then you won't be able to play those old games. If you don't plan on doing any retro gaming then I'd definitely go with the Arc a750.
The A750 seems like the better GPU to the A770
I have an A380 and A750 both in y i3 10105 rig with 32 GB Silicon Power RAM
Pretty good setup
Using the A380 strictly for encode decode
what monitor do you use, 1080p or 1440p? i want build my first pc using a750 but dont know which monitor to buy😅
@@user-zq3ut4rr8vhonestly I just game at 720p mostly
I’m not big into 1080p 1440p or 4K
I have Xbox Series s I use for 1440p for the serious stuff
performance to price ratio wise they are BETTER than all the equivalent competitor. even to AMD's higher price tier ones. but from performance to power consumption ratio they are the worse. but as a linux user, i care more about the LACK of VULKAN supports the intel arc gets in linux. at the moment, intel arc in linux vulkan mode is a generic vulkan using a "null device" mode to run vulkan apps. while both AMD and nvidia ones will have a genuine identity deteted by the vulkan info and runs vulkan games accordingly like they would in windows. intel arc cant run vulkan games in linux. not in proper performance. and not from hardware issue, that SOFTWARE side. there hasnt been a real vulkan support for intel arc in linux.
A770 can't compete with my rtx 4090. Kinda disappointing that intel flagship gpu loses so badly to nvidia flagship gpu
I mean, I hope that’s the case? You’re looking at a $1250 difference in price comparing MSRP prices and about a $1450 price difference at current prices.
If the a770 was anywhere near then it’d be a problem.
@@SuubUWU their the same tier thus are comparable
@@gejamugamlatsoomanam7716no they are definitely not the same tier… Nvidia has been in the gpu market for a very long time and intel are in gen 1 and as the other guy said there is an over $1200 difference in price between these two.
