I wrestled him at northern plains and it was only my 3rd year of wrestling... i only wrestled 3 months each year and the only reason i was any good was because i was much more athletic them most the kids I wrestled.... i had no idea who he was and it was my 3rd match (i started out 2-0 and pinned the state champion of Minnesota) so i thought i was the shit and he didnt look very imposing so i figured i would win. Well lets just say he whooped my ass😂 very humbling experience
@@nathan-9479 no doubt about that. I also wrestled Mitchell Mckee the year before in regionals. Two best kids I ever Wrestled fasho. Im from North Dakota so i really never knew what top comp looked like until regionals. Im still impressed with myself that i was able to take 4th in regionals considering It was my 3rd year of wrestling and i only wrestled 3 months of the year while these beast wrestled 24/7 all year round
@@znhait yeah and Gomez is usually a tech at throws... it was a good match all around,,the thing that got me is rby was up 8 to 3,, and got caught that is alot more points than fix,, fix just did not get caught i am a gomez fan... hope he unleashes.... peace out...

Gomez seemed alot more active,,, both periods, fix i dont think had one shot the whole second period...
Fix doesn’t really shoot. His go-to moves are the pass-by and the trip. He’s not a takedown machine like some other elite wrestlers.
