    Hi all, there is a follow up video for this casing at th-cam.com/video/eCZIKjXdvpw/w-d-xo.html

    • @syn80
      @syn80 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have the SAMA IM01 version which is the same as the Tecware Fusion. The case says it supports a max CPU height of 155mm but in your video you are able to fit a 158mm and still close the case cover. I have a CoolerMaster Hyper 212X which is also 158mm. Now I must try to see if I can get it to fit in my case because I've been using the stock AMD 5600G cooler.

    • @syn80
      @syn80 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Confirmed: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X does fit with side panel on (it made contact with the side panel dust filter but was able to close without a bulge.) Case says max CPU cooler height is 155mm, but my Hyper 212X is 158mm and it fits.)

    I crossed off CM NR200P when I saw this. Finally, a compact mATX case that fits my media machine build requirements. Athlon 3000G + B450M mobo here I come!

      Haha like me lor, bye bye NR200 because my Micro ATX board come!

  • @KungFuIsland
    @KungFuIsland 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    Built this (the Sama 01) with an i7 9700 and 1080ti, which is definitely pushing things up there thermally but managed to make it stable aircooled with everything staying in the mid 70's c under high load with 23c ambient. Once I can get my hands on a 3070/get a bulkier heatsink, I could definitely see being able to push the limit higher without turning the case fans into a jet engine. The only other thing I'd wish for is the option of the mesh front panel if you want to stick another intake there.

    • @jacket0708
      @jacket0708 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is a clone of this case with mesh front called Fortron/FSP CST350.

  • @pawpotsRS

    the CM NR200 and Techware Fusion almost has the same dimension but the nice advantage for those comes from m-ATX like me is that I don't need to buy a new mini-ITX board, and SFX I can just stay using my current peripherals as all of it can fit easily with this casing.

    Is there enough space to mount AIO radiator with the ATX PSU?

    • @goldfries
      @goldfries  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes enough, and after that it really depends on how you route things around. The tube could be towards the rear but then it'll be competing with the graphics card so it depends on your setup.

      OK, but quite pointless right? After all PSU already has fan there. Air still go into PSU more.

    I can believe after a week of looking for cases that I could use for a NAS (even with some tweaking) i stumbled on this one online randomly. And its exactly the price I was willing to spend without feeling bad. I immediately went on youtube to get a better look at it since its matx. And i was this close to buying the therma core v21.

  • @hakkimhamzah7983
    @hakkimhamzah7983 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    to put 1st pcie with long card need use atx psu less 140mm (superflower gold leadex v), if used pcie 2nd slot gpu can support 330mm with 160mm atx psu

    • @goldfries
      @goldfries  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just have to mind the PCI-E speed, also the thickness of the graphics card. Also with that, no room for additional fans or drives at the bottom.

    • @hakkimhamzah7983
      @hakkimhamzah7983 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@goldfries basically certain mobo the pcie (1st slot x16) placement depend on the model and brand itself. like b550m steel legend at 1st pcie while tuf b550m (if not mistaken) on 2nd slot pcie which below abit from steel legend. yuup HDD drive place bottom hard to get clearance unless place on the vertical slot for gpu (if not using beffy air cooler).

    Quick question here!
    Im using gigabyte b450m s2h matx motherboard where the gpu pcie slot uses 2nd and the 3rd slots, and for many matx cases, there's only 4 pcie case slots available, so there's only a little room for the gpu fans to breath. Is there any room available to install any 120mmx25mm fans on the bottom for my gpu with 39mm thickness? TIA.

      But I still wonder if this case can support dual GPU on expansion slot 1 and 3/4

      @@goldfries Thank you kind sir! That really did the trick! 😀
      Too bad there's ni included fans. Right now the cooler master white version is on sale here for just 70 USD while the one you mentioned is a little more than that with no included fans or PCI-E riser and seem to have a little worse finish and quality in general. Either way I planned to spray paint it orange myself so that isn't a huge deal.
      I don't really understand why cooler master doesn't make their case so that you can fit regular sized mATX motherboards as well. Because it is possible without adjusting the frame size. The only thing you need to do is to move the power chord outlet/inlet in the back. I've seen a guy zip-tieing the full size mATX board in place. But I belive you could drill new holes and glue m4 nuts as standoffs. I haven't measured the hight of the built in standoffs but i believe them to be much lower than regular standoffs?
      Funny thing I designed a case of my own a couple of years ago with this exact design/layout. What I didn't knew was that the fiber board I used cosisted of a glue that is toxic and not meant for drilling and cutting. So I got allregic reactions and weird smell in my nose from using the computer. And since then I've been on the hunt for a case with this layout. Haha well... Thank you very much anyways! x)
