      If u just started training a week ago, u don’t need to do as much exercises and sets as Jared does. But its an awesome idea to get some exercise ideas from this vid.

    I appreciate you sharing this. I do my own programming and it is nice to see how a professional programs. Also, the consideration of triceps exercise in conjunction with the type of pressing movement is interesting and I'm looking forward to incorporating. Would you make any major changes for someone not performing am/pm sessions? I don't have the time to go to the gym twice a day, unfortunately! Thank you very much.

    Hey, Jared. Thank you for this video, very helpful. I have a question: nor you personally here, nor RP have ever made videos about hamstring specialization, maybe you can make one? I have recently started new massing phase with hams specialization and my hamstring workouts look like your here: on one day it is 4-6 sets of myorep match leg curls (15-20 reps), the other leg day is 2 straight sets of leg curls (10-15 range) and 3-5 sets of barbell Good Mornings (5-10 range). I can't imagine doing hip hinges 2 times a week as even after 2-3 sets I am sore for 2-3 days AT LEAST. I lowered my quad volume: on hip hinge day I have 2 sets of deficit bulgarians in smith and 1 giant set of reverse nordics, on the other day 1 accumulation and 2 myorep match sets of leverage squat and 1 giant set of reverse nordics. Maybe you have some tips on optimizing hamstring specialization? Thanks in advance.

      for progression mainly if you keep doing the same exercises for both of your push sessions you won't progress much in that exercise or not in a fast pace variations is for progression and progression is prolly the most important thing for hypertrophy as you know it progressive overload, I had the same mentality that I don't need different exercises but I started stalling so I'll be adding variations like PPL A and PPL B

    I appreciate this. I love the app, but I wondered why you and dr Mike have certain orders to templates ordered as you do. I heard you say in the vid with jeff nip, that there is less reason for an arm day if you needed to emphasize, and i wondered why.

    Would love a version of this targeted at 4 and 5 days folks. I bounce meso to meso between those. 6 is just not realistic as much as I would love it as it would mean shorter sessions

    • @watsonswhey
      @watsonswhey 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I believe the main point of videos like these is to provide information and insight into how you can structure your own training programs. The concepts of structuring for recovery, for particular emphases, working for particular goals, aren't really things people can decide for you in a general-approach format like this.
      This is not something you should copy for yourself, beyond testing to see if it works for you, though since Jared is an elite-level athlete, on gear, and is able to do 12 workouts a week, this likely isn't a meso that will work for you. You're meant to take the principles away and apply them to your own training. Or just get the app and run one of the premade 4-5 day templates.

    • @WoTMike1989
      @WoTMike1989 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @WoTMike1989
      @WoTMike1989 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ yup. Been using it for about 9 months now. Fantastic on the autoregulating side within a meso but kinda useless for exercise selection/block adjustments.
      If I had one piece of technical feedback it would be to incorporate auto regulation across mesos and to add exercises he and Dr. Mike talk about regularly. Feels like it needs another major exercise update

    Jared, do you think people don't generally need to be doing any hip abduction exercises if they want to have the great glutes and not competing or anything (male or female)?
    As far as I can tell, the glute medius and minimus don't seem to be hit well by many other exercises, but I don't often see them worked in many programs or talked about often.
