still the 3.7 coulda had ported intakes, bbk throttle body, catless xpipe instead of catted, 3.73 gears (as 3.7s come with 2.73s) and would have dusted the hemi either way.
I know this a older video, I own a 2012 Mustang 3.7 with shorty headers, k&n drop in air raid intake tube, GIGSperformance ported (throttle body (77mm) Ported lower intake) Self ported upper intake, Rev x tuner 93 octane by american muscle (yes i know they suck) KYB gas shocks and polyurethane bushings all the way around on Stock 2.73 gears in auto. I raced 15 Hemi challenger rt with cat back exhaust, cold air intake, 93 tune 6 speed manual. Our race looked bout the same except i pulled 1 length by 30 mph by the time we stopped racing at 120mph i was ahead by 2/2.5/1.5 lengths in each of 3 races. Any mustang 3.7 fan out there get KYB 554355 shocks, I get almost zero tire spin. Hook and go. My car has been dynoed 307 / 280 rwhp/rwtq. I hit constant 4.8-5.2 0-60 times. Do not sleep on mustang 3.7. Yes im aware the challenger weighs 400lbs more .
Hahaah yeah our big beautiful pigs are much too heavy for the 345s, and is an entry-level V8. They're a good engine and respond well too mods, but the 5.7 is just not the best choice if you're looking for something out of the box that you can go to the track with and be competitive. They really need to at least have the 6.1 and up to go against the SS & GT in the naturally aspirated category, and the poor RTs always gets dumped on lol. Not taking anything away from the Mustang though, and moved impressively well for a six banger
@@briseidamanjarrez1209 what heat issue, I've never had any problems with the 6.1 in my Challenger and has been a great engine. The 5.7 has had cam issues, but has not affected any of the other hemis and don't know what you're talkin about dude
@Andrew Camp it is brother Im not a mustang fan boy of the 2013 v6 but I have to accept that is faster. Stock 4 stock I saw it maching a srt8 manual even race 0 to 100mph after 100 srt8 hardly started to take the Win

@@brandon6333 Throttle body dont do shit but yeah everything else u said I agree
@@WWBLGCY 4 hp cause it is bigger and ported intakes do 15 to 20
You are correct... the 3.7 mustang with all the bolt on’s could make at least 10 up over stock... lol!!

I beg to differ, Hemis have a flawed heat issue a tstat and a HD oil cooler and long tubes/gear that mustang would have got dragged

I bully RT’s all day in mine 😂💯
This isnt even full bolt on lol. Cut the cats and port the intakes and youre giving that slow hemi even more gap
Diablosport 93 tune actually makes less power in the hemi 91 is the best, mustang needs a ported mani u lose little to no tq and gain about 30 whp
Bro If the stang would of had 3.73 or 4.10’s the gap would of been even worse for the rt 😂
True
Probably a canned diablo tune. My gf's rt is an 09 and eats g37s. However, v6 stangs do respond well to mods.

Does anyone know how much does it cost to get FBO mustang 2013 3.7?
Swagger $2000 to $5000
@@ElvisCarReviews no way in hell.. you can go fbo for under 2k in a 3.7

Ported intakes 300, steeda cai was 150 used, borla longtubes used 500 catback 250, mpt tunes 150 tuner was free from a used car at work, injectors 200
The real money is in the driveline and weight reduction. Mine weighs 3225 and have 4k in driveline

What did you spend on your rt?
Welp, based on zerotosixty.com:

2011 3.7 mustang: 0-60 5.1 and 1/4 :13.7
