@mrbirr When Richard Thompson (who BTW wrote this song) was asked about being a 61 y/o rocker, he replied that you don't expect an actors, writers/playwrites, painters, or sculptors to retire at 61. Why would expect a musician to give up.
To paraphrase Joni Mitchell--nobody kept asking Van Gogh to keep painting 'A Starry Night' over and over again. Plant's done Zep already and is following his muse. If you don't enjoy it, find something you do like.
@Annonymus121 I saw him in Pittsburgh back in January and he was amazing! A friend of mine who lives in Chicago went to see him at Ravinia Park recently and she was equally amazed.
Love this performance. Unfortunately, there's a glitch in the sound at 3:04, and it' s out of sync for the remainder of the video. I hope someone uploads a the clean 1080p copy.
Perfect by Robert and WOW I miss Letterman at 11:35pm ✌️

He's a good singer. My Dad used to go to school with him, and I frequently see him in the pub (We're regulars.) He's a nice guy.
Seeing him Monday night in Charlotte, NC - so excited! He sounds better than ever!
Did anyone notice Buddy Miller (lead guitar) channeling Richard Thompson?
A great Richard Thompson song, of course.
Wow! All experts at their crafts (vocals, guitars, drums, bass, mandolin)
Robert Plant - 9 lives!!!!fantastic!

Amazing performance ! very haunting lyrics
Nice of Percy to turn people on to Richard Thompson. Original Band of Joy was during height of Fairport Convention, was it not?
La sonrisa de Robert es genial a pesar de los años!
I didn't even know he could still sing to be hones, thankfully he's still got it!

Damn
he sounds the same !
@mrbirr I did. I found that just like millions of others I like Zeppelin.
Band was not in sync... but beautiful performance nonetheless.
@Vanrocco66 yea well John died in 1980 so thats not gonna happen. Looks like your gonna have to settle for Zed Leppelin
David, your comment about David Scott's mandolin was absolutely ignorant :(
He's a COMEDIAN!!
@alexed18 Maybe so but that doesn't make this crappy music any better! Robert Plant needs to either tour with Zeppelin or retire!
He doesn't need to do anything you'd like to impose on him
