    I just recently switched to the ltdx cobra ....I had a speedzone with an upgraded shaft ....found a ltdx 9degree head still in plastic with headcover for 189 us dollars 204 and some change to my front door ....and I love it....but I also just put a set of s55s in my bag as well ....they are in great shape and a friend who had them never really played them much got a new set of 525s and just gave the s55s to me ...I was gaming the mp5s mizuno ...first time out with the s55s and it was easy to see they would be staying in the bag ....going in January to get fitted for the I 230s .....but to he honest probably should just re shaft the s55s ....would like have kbs money taper pvd black shafts in my next irons ....and more than likely will put a set in the s55s .....point being sometimes older "kit" is not always a bad thing ....I really think the I 230 will struggle to preform any better than the s55 ... and I know because half the guys I play with have ping 425 or 430 drivers that they are great but my 300plus dollars cheaper cobra ltdx preforms just as well ....sounds amazing and for me just a touch longer......no question though ping makes great equipment....and I am just not a Taylor made fan ....didn't like the way they bought out Adam's just to rip off their tech .....or the fact they bring out a new driver every couple months after telling you the last model was the greatest driver ever made .......

    I can go back even further, I still use my Taylormade Burner Bubble Shaft 3wood from the late 1990s. I bought an M4 a couple of years ago but went back to my old club. Only 5-10yds shorter but easier to launch from the fairway.

    IMO for the price and the yardage difference the M2 still comes out as King as the average golfer is still taking cost of clubs into consideration and the M2 is almost half the cost of the Sim2 . cheers . keep up with these great videos :)

      @@redgreen01 I went heavier, as the stealth 2 + has heavier weights I decided to get some extra weights for the Stealth+. As reflected my speed was faster with Stealth+ but with the added weight made it more “stable” best way to put it.

    Simon i love your videos as the content is often different and sometimes controversial to the other you tubers pushing for the latest and from the big brands being the greatest ever launched; this is another video that theory. i only have 1 criticism in that maybe after all the hard work of hitting multiple shots per driver please slow things down a bit for us to analyse the data, you were moving the cursor so fast and scrolling up and down, it gave me a bit of a headache. i was hoping to see the summary differences screen, ball speed, carry, total, dispersion etc. supporting your eventual conclusion. the sound is also pretty muffled in this video. please see this as constructive comments to optomise the message you want to get across.
    Keep up the great content.

    I can personally tell you there is a huge difference between the sim max d and stealth 2. 30 yards for me at 53 yrs old.

    • @gregnichol8290
      @gregnichol8290 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Theres not though, perhaps the head in the sim max d being draw biased/ weighted differently is the difference for you between the 2 drivers. This is before you take shaft and loft into consideration and sometimes the look of a club can inspire confidence so you swing more freely. In reality there isnt any huge technological advancement between any of these drivers, they all do roundabout the same thing and so they should because golf club development is regulated by the r&a.
      Ive hit the ball around the same distance for 10 years and my handicap floats between scratch and plus 2. I mostly always have a driver that is the newest or 2nd newest model as i like new things. Unless you swing it faster or improve your technique, it aint going further. There becomes a point where a golfer is near enough maxed out in terms of swing speed and technique.

    I played a 2016 M2 for two seasons until I got custom fit earlier this year for TSR2 and now TSR3 is in my bag. TSR3 is by far the best driver I’ve ever played and I’ve been playing nearly 30 years!
    I have to say that M2 was an amazing driver. I consistently got low spin, great sound and forgiveness. TSR2 outperformed it by “only” 6 yards but I did get a better smash factor. Now my TSR3 outperformed the 2 so that’ll be in my bag for at least 3-5 years

    While I appreciate trying to keep the club head speed consistent, the weighting, shape, and size will increase or decrease speed based on the model. So I’m essence something of the models can create more clubhead speed which is a check in the win column for it. Taking that variable out is unfair
