I think reason people forget they've been around as long as they have is that they've ALWAYS been ahead of their time with their sound. When they first blew up their sound felt so fresh and different yet relatable. And they kept it that way all these years. They found a way to make Alternative Rock timeless.
Nobody can really replicate Chester's voice. He's one of the few people who can "scream" and annunciate every single syllable at the same time, so it sounds clean and soft.
Guys. I just wanted to ask if you'll react to a LP song you probably know, iit's In The End but it's a live performance which is always different and most of the time better especially regarding LP. Asking because I want to do a coffee request (for the first time ever).
When linkin park released songs from meteaora that didn’t make the album it really hit hard. Please listen to “Lost” from them it hurts a lot to listen to with what happened to Chester so many years later.
You guys should check out ONE OK ROCK, 'Renegades'', 'We Are', and 'Clock Strikes' from their Japan Tour. Make sure it's the live version as they're one of the rare groups that genuinely sound better live over the studio version. They've said themselves that the studio version is like an "invitation" to come see the real thing and I love that approach. They're a Japanese rock band but their songs are mostly English. Taka, the frontman, is often compared to Chester in terms of his tone and delivery (the two were close friends). They were actually supposed to tour together but unfortunately he passed away before that could happen. They ended up performing with Linkin Park as a tribute and celebration of life.
@@Rob_Infinity3 I remember magically finding a legit bootleg copy of this song on Kazaa or whatever P2P application was popular before it hit radio. At the time there were so many fake copies floating around. Pretty sure I wasted an entire CD-R to burn this 1 song to listen to it on my pottavle CD player in high school.
New to the channel and enjoying your reactions! I've always been a metalhead and in a couple of your vids you mention about some softer metal songs to 'ease you into it'. Below are my recommendations! Dayseeker (literally any song off their last 2 albums) Slaves - I'd Rather Watch Your Star Explode Wage War - Manic Skindred - Nobody, or Gimme That Boom Spiritbox - Circle With Me Bad Omens - literally any song off The Death of Peace Of Mind Rain City Drive - Medicate Me Bilmuri - literally any song Make Them Suffer - Erase Me, or Epitaph Dreamwake - Memories Imminence - any song off their latest album The Black I could recommend hundreds more, especially from the OG metalcore scene like Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, Parkway Drive, Avenged Sevenfold, A Day To Remember... Anyways, loving the channel so far!
The two things I like most in this video: Linkin Park and Luka Doncic. 😂 You guys have to listen to Papercut and Lying From You, then you’ll understand what Linkin Park is really about and the full essence of their music. 😉

Linkin Park has been around since 1996 and Chester joined in 1999 until he passed in 2017 and now in 2024 they are back with Emily
He really did have a one of a kind voice. They also did a neat little extended intro to this song later on at their concerts that I always loved.
LP is the first band that make me interested to rap.
LP is not rap band💀🙏
@@loyd1122 it is kinda though, the band is a mix of rap rock, nu metal and electronic.
Waiting for the end please
