Being able to angle the light down to the floor is a requirement. Also on the Milwaukee, it would be good if you can switch the un wanted lights off and have say only one or two on.
You can now buy pretty much any tool of the big brands and use an adapter for the battery line you have. So if you're invested in dewalt, it shouldn't stop you from using a bare tool from makita Milwaukee etc with your dewalt battery. It's cool. If you like a particular tool your line don't have. But this comparison makes no sense as this Milwaukee is twice the price also..
You didn't show them folded up. How big are they folded? Do they come with a carrying case? How much do they weigh with battery? Are they portable with battery connected or do you have to carry batteries separate?
I'll buy when milwaukee goes on crazy sale again @ home depot but i went with the dewalt since i could care less about a/c outlet and got the ttripod for $115+tax. i'll be using this mostly for caming without a generator and current running 4 6ah batteries so it'll last me quite a bit.
You do know your not comparing the same lights....the Milwaukee that compares to that dewalt is the 2130...at 2000 lumens....the dewalt is 3000 lumens.........yes Milwaukee has other tripod lights...the dual power 2131 has 2500 lumens......try to be fair with your reviews..
If at least he mentioned it.... Milwaukee has a light that's pretty much the same as this dewalt... for the same price.. comparing apples with apples or disclaim it...
@@ACommenterOnTH-cam Well getting rid of all mine red ones. They do not last. 3 times as many failures as the dewalts. Lots of features but not as well built for team red.
You are comparing apples to oranges. The Milwaukee light is double the price of the Dewalt. I get it. You are getting a nice light, but it's not the same. The Dewalt compares to the Milwaukee tripod light that is almost a quarter the price of this one.
the ability to run both battery or wire is indeed a huge deal. That versatility alone wins. i can't believe DeWalt didn't think of that.
Again, NO dark room testing ...
How long does the battery last for in both of these?

The price is important.. and a look at the cieling back wall
Are you really comparing the 200 USD Dewalt DCL079B againts the 400 USD Milwaukee 2135-20 ?????? Cmon man!!!!
yes he did ...
Not mentioning the price difference for batteries.
These 2 lights are rated the same at 3000 lumens which is why he did this comparison
Will those light handle rain and cold temperatures?
I have Dewalt tools so Dewalt light is best for me.

@jbravo70:
Yea man, i have Ryobi and DeWalt tools at home, buying the Milwaukee is a tough decision even though its clearly the better one.

Thank you. Definitely going with Milwaukee on this one.
The millwacky one i have is almost identical to the dewalt. Has one light one button and no charging. This must be a upgraded version
Great review! Thank you.
Black and yellow 😁
You guys need some radius lights those really throw some light 4400 lumens plus you can hang it
have 5 of them haha, just talking about the tripod lights in this video

Holy fuck this guy is great . God damn this dude knows everything!!

Correct. These are two different classes of light.

Milwaukee makes a 3000 lumen of this exact Milwaukee light same design and all these 2 lights in the video are both 3000 lumens look it up
Nice informative video
And... M18/ 12amp battery doesnt fit, 9.0 is the biggest battery that will fit
Huge plus on the 60v flex volt deWalt battery.
Judging by the drywall splatter and paint on the Milwaukee one we know which one do you prefer, Milwaukee is always better
Milwaukee is the better choice hands down

Milwakee is overrated, they are good but not great. Dewalt beats them in several categories aswell they beat Dewalt in a few areas too.
The integrated A/C poer and battery charging is a big miss on Dewalt part. I hate Milwaukee but Dewalt dropped the ball on their lights.
The Dewilt eats battery’s needs a ac adapter bad
👌🏻
Thank you
Milwaukee killed dewalt on this one.
Killed your wallet too...
Its just $$ ....
Milwaukee over priced, F_ that price
👍
Dewalt is American I support my country not China like Milwaukee
Haha Better sell those tools Dewalt is not American
Some USA made but not all.More like a few n fare between I guess.

Hilti wins this one ,disappointing the dewalt fuked this one up
There was no Hilti...
@drywallnation i know but the hilti beats everyone ,just incase someone is looking for a bright light
Oh okay! Haha. Good to know!
