Thanks again for the tutorial. It appears that the light source illumination is far-reaching enough to handle most backyard activities. I also like that it swivels. Is there a timer or automatic shut off?

Glad I could help. No timer, there is only one power button, which also cycles through 3 brightness settings.

If you use a DeWalt FlexVolt battery you will be able to see the battery guage while in operation because they've moved the guage to the button-side of the battery.
