When did pressing charges become cause for backlash?? Guy intentionally stole $20k and got caught. Press charges and hold not only him, but people who plan to do this in the future accountable. Society needs to get back to punishing people for breaking the law

His life has been about scamming others from the beginning… he runs a pyramid scheme, takes all of the “successful” edited photos with wife and kids, then goes to conferences and speaks about money….the writing has been on the wall this entire time. People like him are master manipulators, just look at his “apology” video….he legit tries to make you feel sorry for him, talks about undeserved hate, “defamation” when it’s clearly facts….and not once does he ever come out like a real man of integrity and say “I stole the money” instead he covers it with “I held on to it for an extended period of time”
He’s lucky the person he stole it from was a nice dude otherwise Mr no-wang would’ve been in the hospital for an extended period of time.

Even if this guy's story was completely true and he took the money to secure it because he didn't know who it belonged to at that moment, that story no longer holds water when he originally found out somebody was missing a significant amount of money and he claims he didn't connect the dots on it. That's the point where I knew that everything was BS and that he would have kept this money had it not been caught on camera and had such overwhelming evidence against him.

here's my view on his story
if this happened at his table and it was the end of the day and quiet why didn't he notice the guy who came over putting the bag on his table.
even if he didn't see that, why didn't he ask the guy "hey is this your bag" before even opening it, then if the guy said no its not mine then open it to check for any information on who's it is and then alert the event security and hand it in.
why didn't he mention when out to dinner and hearing someone lost a bag of cash "oh that bag yea I found that". He kept quiet because he was unaware they had CCTV footage of him stealing the bag and he was going to keep the money. If he had no intention of keeping the money then why did he spend some of it.
I wouldn't ever purchase something from this guy for two reasons 1) you wouldn't know if the item is really his to sell, he may have stolen it and 2) it might be a fake
I know we are all capable of making mistakes but he had multiple opportunities to fix his mistake and it wasn't until the police stepped in and forced the issue did he own up.

I thought over a certain amount of money stolen was grand larceny and was therefore a felony and that the criminal would be charged regardless of whether or not the victim wanted to press charges? That's really messed up. This guy should have been charged and definitely faced some sort of punishment legally.

Honestly, If he had just come clean and apologized, said it was an impulsive decision and he needed the money, charges may not have been pressed (although they probably should either way).

He mentioned a good point. He trusted the 5 or so people left as they were packing up. Think about it, the only people that you would give access like that are people you trust. If you didn't you would be on high alert. It's always the people you trust that steal from you. In 50 years of retail I can say those are the people that rip you off and they justify usually with the old he has more than me, or he is making so much money, or he bought that stuff really cheap. Trust everyone and verify:)

i have known about this guy for almost 8 years and i have countless testimonies of him exposing his true colors.
he is the epitome of a greedy lover of money.
he will do anything to make sure he makes profit no matter what the cost.
he is only sorry because he got caught.
every time i was around him he gives off such narcissistic, self absorbed, what's in it for me energy and his eyes reveal everything if you look closely enough.
pure evil, feel bad for his kids tbh such a horrible example of a father and a man.
he needs to serve time 100%

That is Grand Larceny! I would gladly press charges against him if it was me. Thomas and future thieves need to be charged in my humble opinion.

  • @airchewy-cards
    @airchewy-cards 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

He should press charges. Just because he didn't do it right then shouldn't mean he still can't. Per google... In Georgia, the penalty for theft by taking depends on the value of the property stolen:
$1,500 or less: A misdemeanor, with up to 12 months in jail and a $1,000 fine
$1,500-$5,000: A prison sentence of up to five years
$5,000-$25,000: A prison sentence of up to ten years
$25,000 or more: A prison sentence of two to 20 years
