In this community we have some amazing people like coop for example! Now.. this guy in the video right here I GENUINELY don't believe he's seriously in to pokemon cards. Sure we might hate his reason for doing all this but money makes the world go round. Theirs people who genuinely enjoy pokemon cards and then theirs people who could careless about them and just use the poke market as a whole to profit from and yes theirs actually quite a bit of profiting when you add up the margins especially from what this guy is doing. In the end if he doesn't do this another person will (they already are) this is a big hobby and gambling has always been a thing ESPECIALLY in gaming! *Cough* Counterstrike😂 but yeah.. these type of people who do this never used to exist so it's important to warn kids about bad this is because many of them may not realize that in gambling THE HOUSE wins most of the time. Alot of parents especially if they aren't from this generation theirs quite of few who won't realize this is a form of gambling I've seen this happen in many hobbies and it's sad because this is a gateway AND a form of gambling and it does hurt those who are naturally young and gulliable.

Demonizing this guy is wild. Casinos around the world take people's money every single day. Good on him for running his own personal casino. Smart guy.
This is an excellent profile! Entertaining and fascinating right from the start. I’m not a fan of the gambling culture in Pokemon cards. Specifically, these types of businesses that introduce additional layers of gambling on top of the core pack opening probabilities. I personally don’t love how popular this kind of experience is. But, I will say I was very impressed how these guys structure their business. Implementing “features” like the insurance for when their customers get 2 failed openings is a brilliant way to reduce the perceived downside and help convince more people to participate. I just wish it wasn’t all a scheme to “milk” more money from their audience. I hate that. But I also fundamentally disagree with this idea that, in capitalism, if anyone is making money someone is losing. Maybe if I shared their bleak perspective on how businesses bring value to the world I’d see it their way too. Excellent work Julian! I can’t wait to see what you make next.
i dont get yours. these people WILLINGLY chose to buy this, with a rapist theres no choice. a more accurate comparison would be a girl askin a dude if hes down to fuck and he says yes. transparent offer, willingly accepted, both parties happy. if u compare this guy to a rapist he would be walking on the street with a pack going up to a random person saying "youre buying this for 200 dollars" they say no and he puts the pack in their hand and steals their 200
It’s quite sad to see people lose $3000 in one go plus like this is really messed up. His words ‘milking people’s money’ is horrific on all levels and if it’s kids spending their saved money or their parents money then it would be very disappointing.
I dont think he's a scammer but I can't stand his massive ego. Also the way ppl let him fleece them and celebrate it in their faces...pathetic. I personally wouldn't do business with him but that's just my personal opinion.

Australia is full of these people who just sell 2 booster packs for $50 with a chance of winning some random item. This type of gambelling should be illegal.
I liked this video. I don't mined GoatedPullz and I don't think he is a scalper or buy guy for his business idea. I mean, he ain't forcing anyone to buy the bags. Every mystery product every streamer has is a gamble wether it's mystery packs or whatever. There's always a chance for a higher value and a floor. It's the risk you take when purchasing. Just need to be responsible and not drop money you don't have. Do i personally buy these mystery bags, no. I never buy mystery products from anyone since it's not worth the risk. Id rather just buy the slab or product.

Should I complain that the $7 pack I bought at WalMart only had $1.50 worth of cards inside? This isn't a new experience. And you know what, the 2nd pack I bought for $7, had $90 worth of cards inside. But at the end of the day, I just care about the cards I like, and having these cool cards on display in my space. Everyone has their reasoning.
To me this seems a much lesser evil than things like people fighting eachother at Costco to grab 151 tin bundles so they can sell em on ebay for 5x the price. Or people selling Surging Sparks PC-ETBs on ebay for 5x the price. There is so much wrong with the hobby, but I think whats showcased in the video isn't that bad in comparison.
See but the reason people are fighting over things at stores is because people like this are buying everything out. So people have to turn to these avenues. So I do think it’s scammy/scummy behavior. And he knows kids use their parents money to buy this shit, but he legally has to deny any responsibility.
@@Catinsanity He said in the video he isnt doing that, but who knows
The casinos in smaller nevada towns offer a membership program with tiered perks like free rooms or concert tickets. Comp to use at the restaurants or gift shop. @@morbid9142he’s numb too money. He’s in one of the most expensive/richest counties in California.
THE START OF JLUV DOCUMENTARIES
Glad someone brought attention to this guy. I watched one of his buyer PoV videos and I was shocked to see how rude he could be to vendors to get the deals he wanted. His energy is completely off, one of the worst people in this community. To go from how wholesome and kind TH-camrs can be like Bulba, Jarchomp, Coop & Oyama to this dude...
@@MintyTreecko yeah I’m not a fan of him either he low balls every time and argues about prices but he goes and does stuff like this. You can tell the vendors don’t like him either
He is making deals with jarchomp, bulba and so one every show and the mentioned ones from you are very open to this Kind of way.
Bulba is doing flips with teenagers for deals, same as jarchomp.
The only ,,good“ one is Coop in this vendor community..
In this community we have some amazing people like coop for example!
Now.. this guy in the video right here I GENUINELY don't believe he's seriously in to pokemon cards. I believe he knows alot about pokemon because he saw a market to make profit from and that's what he did, he learnt about the market and now he's making profit from people who either don't know better or from those who enjoy a gamble..this is capitalism in the end of it Stuff like this will always exist, I've seen a couple TH-camrs doing exactly what this guy does so he definitely isn't the first either and this is great advertisement for him. When very young pokemon collectors see the chance to get super rare expensive cards and channels like this make it seem like it's happening often.. the kids convince their parents to help them purchase. Alot of parents especially if they aren't from this generation theirs quite of few who won't realize this is a form of gambling I've seen this happen in many hobbies and it's sad because this is a gateway AND a form of gambling and it does hurt those who are naturally young and gulliable.
@@elias1937 Coop is fantastic but to say he doesn't do deals like others is insane lol.He wouldn't post that content on his channel, don't be blindsided please

All these people are just Logan Paul clones preying off people with gambling addictions. At least this guy's more upfront with it than a lot of those sketchy Whatnot people, but I can't say I'm a fan of this type of business.
Yeah it's funny people don't realise it. Logan Paul is bad but the guy is good because he's upfront. So you can basically do the same thing but your sins are elevated when you're honest with it. What a crazy logic. You can scam people with public approval if you're honest about it.
Thinking he's better than the Whatnot people is funny. He couldn't do what he did on Whatnot because he hides his bags off screen, they all look the same hmmm.🤔
imo idiots should be separated from their money. I mean hell i would probably consider doing this once just as id go to a casino once or twice to blow some money but i wouldnt do anymore than that. @@TheGoorru to be fair its not like he even shows whats in them but he definitely needs to load the packs at the beginning of the stream and keep a 2nd cam on them at all times.
Don’t see a problem with is, no one is forced to enter in anyway. Plus at least you can see what you may win and the odds. Much better than mystery packs which are almost always searched/weighed.
I would never do this type of degeneracy but it is definitely better than every single poketuber mystery pack. Gotta love how they sit and claim they are for the hobby and love the community while scamming the hell out of it and manipulating single prices.

Parents fought against bad words in music when I was a kid to "protect" us and we all just sit idly by while they try to turn this generation of kids into gamblers which is a serious issue people faced gambling addictions are real.

@thimblemunch24 at 200 dollars are you people high? This is not better. lol this will never be better lol
@thimblemunch24 200 dollars. Whe. You break the numbers down this is not better lol. first rule of the casino is the house always wins.. if you're spending 200 dollars on sealed pokemon you'll definitely do better than 40 dollar value

Congrats to him and all the degenerate gamblers who are keeping him in business lmao.
Initially I was thinking this was horrible but honestly the logic behind it isn’t crazy when comparing to buying sealed stuff. I’ve spent $200 on $10 worth of cards multiple times opening packs.
Say you pay 200 dollars and get 30 dollars value back, it isn’t that bad. I took a step back and realized, isn’t that just MJ Holdings and the scam mystery boxes?
Yeah, another scam
@ yeah, and I think a lot of people try to buy them just to show others that they are “rich” when they really not.
its really not because if you do that with pokemon cards the odds are probably worse. Like if you buy 3 sets of 20 packs odds arr your never gonna break that 200 mark you spent on the packs. at least here there is a better chance.
@@mech0pright, in that sense this isn’t a true scam. But my comment is more towards the idea of “don’t buy this”, because it isn’t worth it and don’t waste your money. Also I do not know if this is random or not. I would say spend 200 dollars on a good psa 10 card is much better than buying a milky bag. Because this is the singles market. I also need to know if goated pulls shows favoritism towards new buyers or old buyers, or is there a gimmick inside this thing. In simpler terms, does goated pullz know what bags has the chases or is it really random.

Its not 1 in 3. Its crazy how wrong that is but its said multiple times.
16/50 bags has a chase card so its 1 in 3.125 bags. what r u talking about? and when he said it, it was at a point in the stream where there was only 18 bags left (6 chases) which is exactly 1 in 3
16/50 = less than 1/3.
1/3 = 33% Chance
16/50 unsimplified is 32/100 or 32% chance

Having bought into one or two small rip and ships from Aussie streamers and winning big from one, there is a thrill involved which you can’t get without the gambling aspect.
You can’t deny that these guys aren’t transparent. People know that they’ll likely lose yet they still purchase, similarly to how they do when they buy ANY product from TPCI with the intention of ripping packs. In my opinion the hate stems from jealousy.

I respect this guy alot more after seeing this. Had no idea this is what the slabs he bought were going for. It's people's choice to spend the money and gamble , they are getting 1 out of 3 odds. Way better than any game at the casino.
16/50 is a 32% chance, slightly less than one third but maybe that's splitting hairs. Then again those small math margins are what fortunes are built on.

But I’ll add - I don’t have an issue with this really. I think there’s a level of TCG that people don’t realize is even happening, and it’s just big money moves we can’t attain. Everyone has their way of using these cards.
People can say what they want about goated pulls he's a genius.. I don't beleive in taking advantage of people, but when you are making g your own choices as an adult, and he is capitalizing off of I, what a brilliant move! I'm just saying what he is doing is genius

Honestly at the start of this video I was rolling my eyes hard at this guy, but I can respect the effort to not just completely rip people off by having modest margins, easy to understand odds, and thinking about the losers. He’s definitely more into the business side than the pokemon side but he also doesn’t try to hide that. A clearly stated 1 in 3 chance is way better than most of these gamble bags I see on whatnot. Not a game I would buy into but there’s a huge market for it
Demonizing this guy is wild.
At least he is honest. Straight up and no bullshit
I don't get that argument. You would be ok with rapist if he'd be honest? Straight up and no bullshit? Those are double standards.
i dont get yours. these people WILLINGLY chose to buy this, with a rapist theres no choice. a more accurate comparison would be a girl askin a dude if hes down to fuck and he says yes. transparent offer, willingly accepted, both parties happy. if u compare this guy to a rapist he would be walking on the street with a pack going up to a random person saying "youre buying this for 200 dollars" they say no and he puts the pack in their hand and steals their 200
I understand why people buy from him and I’ve got no problem with it. I just buy singles.
Amazing video btw keep it up bro!
Nice video, man :)
It’s quite sad to see people lose $3000 in one go plus like this is really messed up. His words ‘milking people’s money’ is horrific on all levels and if it’s kids spending their saved money or their parents money then it would be very disappointing.
Very informative, good video.
It’s crazy to think that Ryan’s card house is also starting to do something very similar to this, just ripping people off
I mean isn't it just like buying a pack tbh
I dont think he's a scammer but I can't stand his massive ego. Also the way ppl let him fleece them and celebrate it in their faces...pathetic. I personally wouldn't do business with him but that's just my personal opinion.
$200 isn’t much to lose. 🙂 Meanwhile, in another TH-cam tab, I’m watching a documentary about poor people trying to sell their TV just to pay a $100 bill.
But in the end, he’s right. Spending $200 and getting $30 back with a chance for more is better than buying a booster display.
I’ve literally never pulled a hit from any Pokémon TCG product.
Pokemon TCG Boosters itself are gambling...
People saying this is a casino, buying Pokemon card packs and not knowing what's in them is the original Pokemon Casino lol
Mixed thoughts on this guy and his business
Respect his ambition and drive to set up his own business and actually generate profit from it, sure as hell is better than someone just complaining about the system, I can’t get ahead because of x y or z
On the hand his personality and commentary at times is abrasive and obnoxious
I don’t think he’s ripping anyone off or conning them, the terms are laid out it’s up to the consumer if they want to participate in it
“Im not scamming you THAT bad”
