As a local it’s really fun watching all this unfold because the NC store owners are CONSTANT drama in the community. This is just the first time they have actually been called out for their BS. @@RattlePokemon yep :P my first thought was that they know nothing about IP / trademarks in the first place. So many LGS / card sellers infringe trademarks in their names or logos / merch. In a market in which everyone is selling the same stuff at about the same price, for the most part, the 2 differential factors are service/reputation and branding.
The North Carolina couple did not steal anything. Nintendo does not own the rights to "Catch Em." They own the rights to "Gotta Catch 'em AlL!" A company in Delaware owns the rights to "Catch Em." him: "ey! oh! i'm a man! you shoulds thinks of what yous dos!"
her: "think of the children. specifically, MY children.
here are their ages..."
also, everything they said that started with, "at the end of the day..."
they clearly don't know copyright or IP law, and have no idea how to traverse it. moving on to part 2...
theres a Catch Em All card shop in Greeneville SC also
Thank you for doing this.
Im sry grown men curse but they dont scream obscenities is a family event over a name u both stole.the first couple claim they did everything right y not release the vid if u did nothing wrong😂if there so worried about the brand y is there name the smallest thing on the page u can barley see it in red under the pokemon saying
I know a guy named ashley ketchem. He could start a business named ketchem all and nobody could fuss about it.
Why does no one know that the movie was pineapple express, not the interview😂
I need more clarification on what time of day things are cleared up. She didn’t say “at the end of the day” enough times.
At the end of the day is the line people say when there in the wrong with nothing else to say 😂
Really wish when they said "at the end of the day" they were gonna wrap it up. That was a long call.
Take a shot after each “at the end of the day”
Lady is a natural politician
Drinking game idea....take a shot every time they say "At the End of the day"
Im gonna buy an LLC named pokemen and sue pokemon.
Omega Karen has entered the chat.
Thank you for the unbiased interviews.
I noticed scammers keep saying, at the end of the day, or, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, repeatedly lol smh
This is a classic case of misunderstanding and poor communication. Could have all been avoided if approached much better from both parties
I wonder what KetchumAllCollectibles thinks about this
Thanks!
Thank you!
yap’em collectibles. they’d complain for hours if you’d let them over a problem that “at the end of the day” they caused themselves. thanks for covering this stupid story 😂
No one went to one stall thinking it was the other... It's a con they're gonna to go all of them...
Under common law trademark they would only need to change there name while in that state!
