Been in collectibles business for over 34 years. This situation has happened with 10+ loyal customers that we know of. During covid I had a loyal customer of 20+ years pocket packs of cards. He would open packs of Pokemon (expensive and lower price) in the back section of my shop( shop is over 55 feet in length); then walk up to the front of the store where our register to open other pack and pay out. During that walk he would pocket the packs. My staff actually caught him doing it several months before and let it go thinking it was a mistake because one of my staff confronted him. He said he forgot about the packs in his pocket. He did it again with a different staff member on $75+ dollars of packs few months later and we banned him from the store. We figure he was doing this on a regular bases over two years during covid. Estimated he stole well over $2000 in product over the two years as he changed routine of paying for product in front of my business versus paying on the back register. Can't fully trust any customer.

The fact that so many people didn’t want to believe it is testament to how well liked Ryan is. This was a brutal wake up call to me and everyone regularly at the show. That said, anyone coming after Poz for warning people needs to really zoom out.

I watched this whole thing and honestly, I just did it to show the guys support. They're really great, hardworking people, who I personally know and trust. The fact a lot of folks wanted to make them feel like they were in the wrong is ridiculous. Thanks for sitting with them and letting the people in the community know about Ryan. I don't regret cutting ties with a lot of people in this hobby anymore especially on the IG side of things. Lots of stink stanks that let money go to their head.

Later in the video they say they replaced older cams and added more. Having said that, there's definitely a possibility he has though. It will always be a question because this is seemingly the first time anyone has caught him. The part about him trying to bribe them not to post/to make it go away is sus as well, maybe someone else caught him in the past and took the bribe.
Dondiego is pure cringe. I remember seeing her birthday livestream and they were charging for custom cards with pictures of herself on them with a signature. That entire group of people are all posers and have contributed greatly into ruining the hobby for real fans.
This sucks but watching the footage before the incident is so cool lol. This booth is so much fun I always swing by when visiting frank and sons, the team is great too. I get random packs here but last time I went 🥲 I lost my packs! It was nothing crazy like 60 worth in random packs. I’m so dumb Idk how I lost it, I need to get over it and go again 😅🤭

I deal with people on a daily basis and deal with this type of behaviour of loitering over and over trying to distract and boom take it to steal it at an oportunity THEY THINK IS BEST, but i get them as i feed them an appropriate good opportunity. His behaviour is classic sceaky thief

You can clearly see, based on Ryan’s behavior that he was thinking about stealing the slab when it was first handed to him. Most likely he approached the counter with the intentions of stealing something, because you can clearly see him position himself in various ways to create an opening to steal. He also used the crowd of customers to his advantage. He utilized misdirection and distraction several times. This wasn’t a crime of opportunity. He carefully enacted a sequence of movements in a premeditated effort to leave with the slab in hand undetected. Oops. 😂

Def intentional. WHY?? THINK... if his collection is that valuable, why would he need a psa 4 shadowless?? There are only a few reasons why someone with a collection he reportedly has would do it...
1) He was desperate for it for some reason
2) He's addicted to collecting, so couldn't help himself
3) He does it all the time, so it's become a habit
I once read about a similar situation in which a respected, trusted friend stole valuable action figures from them. Their relationship doesn't factor into his head. He is consumed by whatever is driving him. He needs help...just not sure if he's in need of financial or mental health
This is why I never let anyone touch my PSA 8 sealed shadowless base set booster pack or my sealed copy of Pokémon Yellow.
They are the most expensive items in my collection and I don’t want some kleptomaniac running off with either of them.
