I totally agree with Efra when he said that Jaya is truly a complicated artist (in a positive way). She tweaks and bends song tunes very randomly,, you'll never know when she's gonna attack the song her way, and her performances will just leave you at awe.

Jaya is like Bryan Mcknight when doing live. She always sings a song differently, like you'll always get a new version of the song every single time she performs.
she had a brief singing career in the US back in the late 80s or early 90s.
I remember this song as soft, melodic, and can be easily recalled. What Jaya did here is as you said, "a masterclass" of its own league. Batang late 80's (Kid of the late 80s) and I am a Jaya fan too!

You guys should listen to the original studio version. Even in your own time. Its a totally different vibe. This is one of the songs that really put Jaya on the map back in the 90s 👍

Hi Waleska and Efra. I came home for a brief vacation
(in the early 2000s) and heard Jaya's voice on the radio ("Elizabeth Ramsey's daughter", my friends chorused)_ and I became an instant fan. This song has been one of my favorites: along with DAHIL BA SA KANYA and IKAW LAMANG, with Janno Gibbs. Not sure if the songs were pop-jazz or r&b. Please help, Waleska.
Jaya's mezzo soprano voice has matured and 'am not sure when I would hear her again (she recently moved back to the States). I hope she would do another amazing OST like Hanggang Dito Na Lang (Jaya's recent hit music) or an EP. Thanks for your reactions.
