STORY TIME (please read it )
Hwang Chi Yeol debuted in 2007, releasing two albums and appearing in some TV and radio shows for about a year, but his career came to a halt because his management company closed. After that he was forced to stop his activities and worked as a vocal coach, teaching idol bands including Infinite, After School, Lovelyz, NU'EST, and Hello Venus. After living as a nameless singer for 9 years he decided to appear in the show I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE (every singer can appear only once) and that's when his life started to take a turn . Many people started showing interes in him and he was invited in another show (Immortal Song 2) wich made him really famous in korea . In his 3rd apparence (the theme of the episode was family ) on the show he sang Father dedicated to his father who had suffered from cancer and who didn't want him to do music and GUESS WHAT he won the trophy
Because of fame he gained from Immortal Song he was invited in I am a singer China , which not only grew his popularity but made him one of the most loved artists in China
He then in 2017 released A daily song which became a major hit selling 2.500.000 copies only in Korea
His journey was a roller coster and he had to overcome many hardships but it was worth it because now he's one of the BRIGHTEST STARS IN THE SKY

Trivia: Jaya actually started her singing career in the US and had released an album there back in the late 80s(?). But for some reasons (which I am not aware of) went back to the Philippines and started her singing career there.

I saw Jaya's mother when I was a little girl. Jaya's mother was famous for Jazz and Soul. I cannot remember her clearly except that she was a bit small and native Negrito-Filipino looking with short hair. (I have that in my background as well.) I was told then that she married a foreigner. I love Jaya ... it quite difficult to find earlier good videos of Jaya's performances.
