Hi. Is there a library of ready-made house models that I can import and drop into SketchUp? I am new to SketchUp, and I want to drop a house, trees, maybe a driveway, and other things into a vacant lot for visual purposes. It would be better if I could grab the actual lot from Google Maps, import it to SketchUp Free, and drop those models I mentioned (not sure if this is possible in the Free version). Thanks. Hi can anyone help please? Completely new to sketch up. I'm following this video, using the line tool and when i try to type a measurement (rather than drag out a line) into the value box in the bottom right it just highlights pink and doesn't let me enter anything.
Are you trying to click into the box to enter value? Don't do that if you are. I was doing that and getting immensely frustrated. Select tool, click start point, then type dimensions. For 2 dimensional objects, separate dimensions with comma. One other thing I learned yesterday. Don't hold the mouse button as you move, except for selecting an object or objects. Click once to establish start point, move mouse, click again for end point.
I’m having trouble getting to the first page because of the pop up screen about paying for the app. Is there a way to make that stop? I may pay for the app in the future, but not until I know if it’s what I’m looking for. I feel very stupid. When I click, create new, I get the pop up. Click on continue with free and the same cycle continues. Frustrating.

Interesting - I've not had this experience so I'm really not sure. Are you using Chrome for your browser?
