I have never subscribed to a " review" channel, nor commented on a video, but I have on yours. Most of the review videos out there are just commercials for the robots. Yours is very consistent in testing, useful and honest. Therefore I have subscribed and liked your video. Keep it up. Thank you.
Wow that is very humbling to hear. You have recognized my goal. Provide honest reviews and stand out as a different type of review channel. Really love the support!
I have the T20. And honestly I could not be happier. Yes it misses one or two spots, but 99% it cleans very well. If anyone is expecting 100% perfection, then maybe you are better served to get a hand held vacuum and mop and do the housework. The robot is still not going to get into places that are narrower than itself i.e. between the wall and the toilet etc. Thus still needs a human to get the house completely cleaned, to the level you want to achieve. I keep reminding myself it is not a human, it cannot see everything I see, and for what it is I think it is a great help for the most part. I don't think there is a perfect robot vacuum. It is all relative to what your expectations are of the unit. I really love all the features the T20 has. Yes, the app leave a little to be desired, but once it is set up (time invested), it's done.
I’m really liking my T20 to be honest, I don’t see an issue with not having an onboard water tank, it just means my mops get cleaned part way through rather than pushing dirt around with dirty mop pads. I also used common sense and put the station on a rubber mat so wet pads aren’t a problem. The app has frozen a couple of times, all you have to do is go out and then go back in, it’s not an issue. The robot cleans well and mops well, which is what you want it to do, I have no issues on laminate flooring whatsoever. No robot is going to be perfect and honestly so far, I can’t say a bad thing about it.
What is an onboard water tank? Do you mean a water tank in the robot itself? None of the competitors have it as well right? All of them have it in the base station.
My T20 has some issues, it just forgets the network configuration, and depending on the light intensity it just skips the room and goes back to the base. The funny thing is cleaning the mop without using it (a simple "if" in the software solve the issue)
Your videos are really good and honest. They helped me get the right vacuum and saved me hundreds of dollars over going with the more expensive ones. Most, if not all, of the other channels and videos are sponsored advertisements that only show what is good and never tell you the cons.
Thanks. Those sponsored channels drive me in same. Reminds me of late night infomercials where you automatically know they are full of crap about the crap they are pushing. Anyway I strive to be different and actually help people instead of helping myself to more money.
This is probably the best review so far I have seen for the T20 Omni. If I did a review, it would be this. You have noticed many of the obvious issues that most reviews (paid/sponsored) ignored or missed, especially with the app which is unacceptable for a device in this price range. Only thing different with my experience was the obstacle avoidance, which I have found to be excellent and better than the Roborock s8 I had for a while.
Yea I was a bit disturbed by what I see in other people's reviews. I try and set myself apart by not taking sponsorships so I can say what I need to say. As far as object avoidance I can see where you would consider it better than the S8. When compared to the T10 OMNI and X1 OMNI it is overall worse than those which is the real issue I am pointing out although this model is cheaper than those. Tell me about your experience with the app please.
@@jamie.andrews The app issues are pretty much as you described - it often doesn’t update the vacs current status or just freezes, and the app needs a force restart. Issues editing the map. Strange and illogical settings menu, with options that should be grouped together all over the place. Also so bugs - my rugs (called ‘furniture’ in the app) disappear from the map sometimes when I clean a room that don’t have them in. The strangest bug is that if I set up a routine including the rug, if will change the rug in the routine. Sometimes to one is a different room. The most annoying thing is not being able to manually select the deep edge cleaning, it only happens once every 7 days on auto (or the crazy housing keeping option, that’s a complete waste of time. Also can’t save custom areas, you have to draw it out every time, and you can’t name rooms! Honestly, the amount of time I have spend messing around with this app I could have cleaned with the area with my manual stick Dyson. I have submitted bug fix requests and they even ask for feature suggestions in the App Store, yet they do nothing to improve it.
@@BadgerBob Thanks for those details and it confirms what I suspected which is this is a big issue and for some reason other TH-camrs are not slamming Ecovacs for this enough.
@@BadgerBob You can change and rename the rooms i.e lounge, bedroom etc.. - divide and combine rooms - and heaps of features. Yes, it is time consuming, but once set - its done. Love my T20.
@@nicolecawood6268 wrong. You can’t rename room. What you are describing are ‘labels’. So yes, I have bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, bedroom 4… not great if you can’t remember which bedroom is which.
I got the T20 and while it was a very nice upgrade from my T8, I felt there were better options out there. The auto empty station is huge by comparison, and cleaning it is annoying and unnecessarily difficult, and ineffective. I understand the privacy concerns, but just know that things like cords and even some slippers may not be detected, that's what I experienced. The mops still lower and spin while the vacuum is docking, and after less than a week, the ramp started getting super gross. The brush roll also got tangled with hair, especially at the axles. I tested the Eufy X10 and it was an all-round upgrade. Better navigation, removable tray in the much smaller station, and none of the strange quirks, plus Eufy does claim to protect your privacy and claims they only process any images locally too. And the brush roll has a detangling feature that worked really well. It even has a lower MSRP than the T20.
unsure if I like the design, really different, especially the button; stats look very good apart from the battery and they are normally quick to get them to other countries. An odd fact, there is a t20 Pro in China that has a water tank
I’ve been using my T20 about six weeks now. In general, I am pleased with the robot, but the app is poorly organized resulting in it being overly-complicated and glitchy. I haven’t had problems with the hard floor pickup. I agree that it goes through a lot of water, even in my 1,200 square foot house. I find the unit doesn’t clean close to the wall as well as I would like, since I prefer cleaning room by room, and the deep clean only works in whole-house mode - another issue with the app that hopefully a firmware update can address. This is my first robot vac so my experience is limited, but after the steep learning curve (which the company does NOT make any easier, providing no documentation/tutorials) I do think it’s a time saver and worth the price.
Thanks for sharing and I agree about the deep cleaning. You should be able to toggle it on or off per session. I don't clean my entire house at the same time so it is useless for me too.
What a detailed and thought through review, especially the practical part when cleaning. Thank you for those:) By the way is there any page summarising all your tests for vacums where we can see some comparisons?
I own a T20 and I don’t find the onboard water tank really matters. For clarification, I also have a multi-story home. The main thing that is maybe a problem is the pickup performance. Cables are also a problem but there aren’t ever cables lying on the floor here. Overall, I am enjoying it. Yes, the app can be kind of sucky when it comes to layout and the room creation was a bit frustrating. Once you get past those the app is pretty good.
how does it work for you? If you need to go take it upstairs for example, will it pre-wet the mops and then let you pick it up, or is there a process you have to go through? And roughly how many sqft/minutes can it mop without running out of water?
@@richardplumb3713 Sorry for the late reply. Full disclosure is that since making this comment. I liked the machine but had a few problems with it. To answer your question, no it can’t pre-wet the mop pads like that. You can start it or maybe do a cleaning of the mop pads which would make them work. What I ended up doing is carrying the base upstairs. The base is heavy but manageable if you remove the water tanks. The square footage was pretty good. I don’t have exact numbers but it would be less than most other Lidar bots as the navigations is just okay. The other problem with the square footage is that it uses so much water to clean the pads when it cleans them that it runs out of water really quickly. It used over half of its water to clean the floor because it would go back every 10-15 minutes and fully clean the mopping pads. Another flaw with this design is the water is put down unequally and it puts down too much at the start of its ten minute cycle. Honestly, everything else about the robot was great. The pickup performance on our floor was good and we never had a problem with it running into cables. Now the final thing: we returned it because their new mopping system made the mopping pads fall off frequently enough when going over carpet. The carpets were not even very thick. My understanding is that they have since fixed that issue but I have moved on. Overall I like it and might even recommend it, but I would say be wary. The performance was great, the design was not.
OMG Jamie, I ended up buying one of these due to the available model in NZ, I agree with all the aspects you have highlighted. The only extra thing I would add would be how quick it goes through the water. If you wanted to mop your floor every day just expect to be refilling the water tanks every second day. Also maybe I'm old school by you can't remote control this unit, the only way to do a spot clean is via the app and drawing a square. In saying all this, I'm still happy with it but would like to see a few changes as you suggest in the firmware and the app.
Yea it does go through a ton of water since the most water used is consumed while washing the mopping pads which is true for all other robots which have a self washing dock, however most of them have an internal water tank which means they can stay out cleaning the floors for much longer before returning to the dock to have their pads washed. Curious if you have seen some of the same issues with the app that I have seen?
@@jamie.andrews Yep, (on Android) if I go back into it after a while I need to go out to at least the front page of the app and then go back into it see the current running status of the task it is completing. Separating rooms can be a nightmare, I also have one full room on the map and which is only coloured in 3/4 hence selecting the room only cleans the coloured area. I have noticed as well to use the robot both you and the robot need to have internet access (hence we are currently reliant on a web service to use this machine). For the water I was wondering if it would help to have a "Wet Mop" button and "Clean Mop" mode, where the "Wet Mop" uses less water?
@@johnward6516 Every robot I have tested to date that has a self washing dock cleans the mopping pads before starting which I agree is a waste of water. Don't know if you have noticed but Ecovacs actually takes this one step further than other robots. When it returns to the dock for a final washing and then switches to hot air drying and you select another room to mop it will start washing the pads again! Yep it just washed them a minute ago and now it is doing it all over again ! Roborock and Dreame will reconize they just finished washing the pads and won't do it again.
To me critical is the lack of water tank and small hoover capacity. I have multiple small floors. It could not navigate a ramp I made. I need to drag the heavy bass station up the stairs to use it elsewhere for mopping, and hoovering works but tiny capacity. So on both counts, useless to me. I should have thought about that in advance. Disappointed.
The TEO has had a couple of mapping issues, and the voice commands can be a hit or miss. I've got the q-revo coming, since it would be nice to move the robot between floors without having to lug a docking station around. It cleans well enough for me to notice the difference and significant, but I've noticed it does look like it's confused sometime.
oh man the q revo is going back to Coscto. What a terrible experience. The navigation on the q revo was horrible It kept getting tangled up in my cat's feeder and fountain cables. It tried to pull the nvidia shield off my console. It ran over the cat saucer, which if it had moiste food in it would have made a mess. I also had the TEO perform a deep clean right after the q revo and the eccovac dirty water tank showed the floor was still very ditry where the q revo dirty water tank made it look as if things were clean. The only positive thing about the q revo is the app. The app is much better. But I'll take cleaner floors any day.
any recommendations for UK for mopping robot? I’ve had roomba before and find them reliable with good customer service but the J7/J9 combo seem limited. Roborock don’t have an official presence here and my preferred option the Q Revo isn’t available at all even through third party sellers. The ecovacs t20 was a contender but I’ve heard bad things about the app usability and it wouldn’t let me use alexa to clean a specific room. Also we have hard floors upstairs but the T20 has no internal tank - how does that work?
If you have Dreame look at the L10s. Yes you would have to carry it up and down stairs often to keep the pads wet. Only makes sense with a small second story.
@@jamie.andrews we do have Dreame so will check them out thanks. Upstairs is only the bathroom for mopping the rest is carpet so ideally would be able to set a ‘vac then mop’ run to start with dry mops?
Yea I was surprised the rubber roller did so poorly. I also think the reason adding the brush roller from the T10 did not improve significantly was due to the decreased dustbin size. Not positive as I did count the spilled litter on my test result since it did pick it up, but the suction had to be decreased once the bin filled and blocked the filter.
Enjoyed watching this review so much. Very honest and a lot of the factors you considered, I didn't find in any other reviews. I'm in the market for my first robot, and in your honest opinion is the X2 omni worth the additional dollars compared to T20 omni?
The small dustbin should only be a problem on the first run after you buy it. Running it every other day after that their shouldn't be that much dirt being picked up
Roborock P10 PRO is here! Here are the upgrades features from the P10 (Q Revo): -7000 PA suction -ReactiveAI Obstacle Avoidance with RGB cameras and 3D light (no cross lasers tho), plus a fill light -Built-in Voice Assistant. Say “Hello Roborock,” then do your command. -60 °C hot water mop cleaning plus auto detergent tank (I believe) -Some water ppm sensor in the dock that senses the dirtiness of the dirty water being sucked up and adjusts cleaning intensity until the mops are cleaned. -FlexiArm that extends the mop pad with an arm to better clean edges. -Lifting roller brush, which is the first Roborock without DuoRoller that can lift the roller brush. -Auto empty intervals, set the amount of time you want it to clean before it evacuated and resumes. -10mm lift - 3mm more than P10! Things Roborock still needs to add: -Removable water tank (make it bigger too) -DOCK BUTTONS!!!
Great review! Thank you. You helped make the decision for me not to get this. It's on sale right now from Costco. Just the fact that my carpet can get wet as the pad is dragging on it after it mops the hard floor is a done deal for me.
Have you had a chance to try out the Ecovacs Omni X2? I bought one 2 weeks ago and I am extremely disappointed. The mapping is absolutely horrible. I have mapped my house a dozen times and it is still no where near accurate. My Dreametech L10s Ultra so far out does the Omni X2. Would love to hear your feedback. Appreciate yourself videos!
The reason I did not release the video before now is I am working with Ecovacs to hopefully solve all of these navigation issues. Otherwise it ain't gonna be good. There are other issues that you may not be aware of as well unless you happen to test like I do. They should have improved on the round X1 instead of switching to a square bot. Dreame is not perfect, but way better than this thing so far.
@@jamie.andrews Hope they solve the issues, but they are very resistant to forwarding the problem/recommendation to the development team, I think they prefer to release a new version, so they sell the product as high-tech.
Yet they are about releasing X2 Omni by October!! Check it out!! I appreciate Ecovacs hardware quality but they must improve their software!! Hope you will be able to review X2 Omni soon!!
have you tested a two floor home to see how it behaves if you have hard floors you want to clean? can you just manually wet the mops, carry it upstairs and let it go, then take downstairs to send it home and wash/dry? that’d be enough for me I think
No I only have a single story home, however without on board water you will need to not have too much floor to cover or you will carry it up and down often to have the pads washed and rewet. I recommend a robot with a built in water tank if that is your case.
I'll have the review out for that one in just a few days! As for recommendations, I generly don't just flat out recommend robots. If you want to share you budget, wants and needs I can help.
I thought both t10 omni and x1 omni doesn’t have lift up pads, sorry messaged you under t20 video, just realizing that now, I am more interested in t10 omni or x1 omni, we have children with lots of clutter and we don’t have carpet and I don’t think it makes a difference about internal water tank after watching your other video, which one is better obstacle avoidance? Thanks for your time, I really appreciate your time@@jamie.andrews
@@lohiyadeep The T20 does not have an internal water tank. The X1 does not have lifting mopping pads and is the more expensive choice. The Q Revo is the cheapest but has the worst object avoidance. It comes down to your specific needs and what is important to you.
I am having trouble picking a robot vacuum cleaner🫣. What would you pick? The Ecovacs deebot x2 Omni or The Ecovacs deebot T20 or the Dreame l10 prime. I am new to this and I don't know which one to pick.
I have a video on the X2 that you should watch before buying. th-cam.com/video/qwCdYQn0jVA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nGwMvOMx3ZLcAbCU I'm not familiar with the L10 Prime. It is not sold in the US. I have reviewed the L10s Ultra which I think is better than the other 2 you stated.
@@jamie.andrews Thank you very much. I went with the Dreame l10 prime and it is very amazing. Your video about the Dreame l10s ultra really helped me. Dreame is an amazing robot company. I really like my Dreame l10 prime it has daily mopping, intensive mopping and deep mopping and it is a game changer for me. There is also an option for water saving. I really like your videos💪.
What is an onboard water tank? Do you mean a water tank in the robot itself? None of the competitors have it as well right? All of them have it in the base station.
I have no plans to compare those at the moment, but I did compare the X1 with the L10s is you have not seen that video it is on my channel and might help some.
Splitting the floor plan has gradually gotten worse over time. I use to have 2 room I could not split. Now I have 3. This is a function of the app which is why it affects all models. I need to test the T20 again.
@@jamie.andrews I am getting less water mess by the station, water usage has been reduced, navigation and map stability has been improved. This is all just personal experience of course. Room setup is still a mess. It still is not that good getting over doorsteps (why does reviewers ignore this?) and I do not think the hardfloor tile pickup has been improved. Luckily my apartment is medium size, and I just have a program where it vaccumes problematic areas twice.
Otherwise my apartment is a maze, with one-way passing due to doorsteps, mirrors, curtains and lots of toys. I am supposed by how well it navigates it efficiently.
@@hirolau 99% of robots have the same heights they advertise for thresholds. A problem with testing is there are too many shapes and sizes to give someone an accurate idea of if it can cross a threshold. Often times thresholds separate floors of different types which only adds to the problem since I often hear a robot can go into a room over the threshold, but can't get out due to the floor being lower on the other side. Hope this helps as I have thought about testing this. My thresholds have never been a problem for my robots which does not help.
you said that vacuums with an internal water tank can do multi floor homes? i move my q revo tank to the other floor to do it. do i just need to move the robot and it'll be able to do the entire floor? how long would the mop last if there's no base station on that floor?
When testing with the Q Revo I was able to get about 25 minutes before the tank was empty. You could likely push it to 30 minutes since the pads are still wet and even more on the lowest water settings. The T20 will be mostly dry after 10 minutes with the pad wetness set to normal leaving the dock.
@@jamie.andrews ayy that's perfect for atleast one or two rooms of mopping then without moving the station upstairs. It's ridiculous that they don't sell the base station individually for$200-$300 because that would be the best solution but with that information I think I'll just keep the base to the 1st floor then move it upstairs and mop with the on board water. Very helpful thanks my brother 🙏 PS if you know anyone that's trying to sell just the base station (idk why they wouldn't sell it as a combo but just in case) let me know
@@maheshr4108 Yea I would not carry the base upstairs. If I had a second floor that took over an hour to mop I would likely invest in a second vacuum. I would not buy another base fyi since the robot will not likely sync with another base randomly. I know this from trying to move robots between bases with the S series. They don't work.
I can get the T10 and T20 (teo) Costco version for the same price. $799 CAD should I get the T10? I don’t have many carpets or should I just get a roborock?
I ended up getting the q revo. It was 200 more then the Costco t20 but the deal breaker for the ecovac for me came to the water tank onboard. The riborock I can atleast take upstairs to mop my floors as well. The app seems to be better on roborock also. Thanks for your help. I was having option paralysis.
@@jamie.andrews Do you have any concerns about the integrated water tanks in the Q Revo and L10s, since they can’t be seen or removed for cleaning? If you only mop once per week or two weeks, or maybe even once per month, that is a long time even for clean water to be sitting after it has been exposed to air, and I would be surprised if mold doesn’t grow in there eventually. Maybe you could do a video where you let one sit for 2-3 weeks without running mopping, and then take the robot apart and see if any mold has grown in the tank. I really wish they emptied that internal tank at the end of each cleaning. Maybe they do… not sure… could you investigate?
@@GraysonCarr The L10s allows you to empty the internal tank from the app. I do not have any buildup in my tanks of my older robots that had removable tanks so I think that largely depends on water conditions.
@@jamie.andrews Dang, and I ordered the Q Revo. That at least gives me hope that maybe Roborock will add that feature in the future if DreameBot has it.

The Reddit community is talking a lot about the P10 Pro. There are 5 key things that might come on the P10 pro: 1: Hot Washing. 60°C washing is expected to come on the P10 pro. 2: Built-in Voice assistant (Not confirmed). Like YIKO, but the Roborock version. 3: Mop dirt detection (not confirmed). Rather than a timer system P10 pro will sense mop dirtiness and will determine if it needs to return to the dock to wash. It better empty the bin too. 4: Mop stretch cleaning: mopping pads extend out to reach edges better. I’m not sure if the robot twists like the Freo does, or if there will be an actual mechanism that extends the mop pad out. 5: Improved Object Avoidance (not confirmed): Most likely ditching the Reactive Tech obstacle avoidance in favor of ReactiveAI (possibly 4.0). Video calling might also come but not confirmed. So Roborock (might’ve) answered the voice assistant prayer I wanted! They better put buttons on the dock tho…
I really wish I had seen a review like this before buying mine. I have my dock on a carpet so it's getting scrubbed with the mops every time it returns, naturally when they are dirty. I'm having to clean the carpet in front of the dock. I've raised it with support but I'm hearing that all they tell people is to move the dock or put something over the carpet. One thing I've not seen in most reviews is the issues it has going under furniture with object avoidance enabled. I've spoken to people online who have the same issues and ecovacs support have told me this is normal due to the change in light and I should disable object avoidance. Really unacceptable in my eyes. I've never really known ecovacs to improve things software wise in the time I've owned some of their others so I'm not convinced this one will improve.
Sad to hear your expierance. Most TH-cam reviews are paid sponsorships, but not mine. I have not expieranced the issue under furniture, and it really does not make much sense as the T20 with the optical sensors are not dependant on a bright room or area like a RGB camera would be. They might be telling you something wrong. Can you tell me exactly what it is doing when going under furniture?
@jamie.andrews i though that too. when it goes under it will maybe get its body half way under then turn away. Interestingly it will go around one sofa leg, putting the robot under but that's the one near a light, the rest it will only go around the edge. I tried everything including area cleaning, remapping, nothing changed it. I even enabled vacuum priority in the object avoidance but this made no difference. My furniture is around an inch above the lidar, possibly more. There is a small sag in the material under neath but it is still well above the lidar, it's not like it's even close enough where it might be borderline. If I disable object avoidance it goes straight under without hesitation. I shared all the images and cleaning logs with ecovacs and the response was this "From the images it does look like the cushions sag down a little under the couch hence giving the illusion of an obstacle perhaps. Also, the clearance change and light change (which are affected when enabling/disabling obstacle avoidance) is what is causing the deebot to avoid the area when enabled. Unfortunately, there is no workaround at the moment for the situation. You could try to first do an entire clean of the map. Then once completed disable obstacle avoidance and send it (via the custom clean option) to clean only under the respective furniture. "
Also to add, I've had a response regarding the scrubbing of the mops on the carpet "Unfortunately there is unfortunately no way to disable this - as the unit is programmed to have the mopping plates down and spinning while the unit is returning to the station. It is unfortunately our general recommendation to place the station on a hard floor area." I think this is quite a big issue for anyone like me planning to place this on or close to a carpet. I know I could put something over it but my carpet is a medium pile and a protector wouldn't sit flat. Not only would it look ugly but it would be a tripping hazard for my kids
Ecovas is very bad with thick carpet .. it will suck the threads out and jam the wheels .. so u need to block out tall carpet on the map .. if they can design adjustable wheel height....
If you are speaking of that bit on the edge of the tile near the group I do not count that as that was my mistake getting some too close to the grout. To date there is not a robot mop that can clean down on grout lines.
@@entswaggles Not sure I understand your question. In all my other tests with robots I normally only get hot sauce on the center of the tile. If the robot clears all of the stains it gets a 100%. Keep in mind none of this is scientific as I am not performing these test on a lab. They are mostly designed to help showcase the differences between robots.
@@jamie.andrews Fair enough. I would have said 99% if I were you just to emphasize that robots do not clean grouts well, as I didn't know this myself when I recently started watching your videos and getting in the market for a robot.
@@entswaggles Yea this was not really meant to be a grout test, but you have a good point that I really should call that out in future videos. Thanks fore your feedback. For cleaning grout I find the Dreame H12 Pro to do a good job and it is what I use to clean the grout after a test like this.

Thanks. Those sponsored channels drive me in same. Reminds me of late night infomercials where you automatically know they are full of crap about the crap they are pushing. Anyway I strive to be different and actually help people instead of helping myself to more money.
So which one you choose?!
I also want to know which one your chose then. I daily confuse myself, which one should I go. Atleast 5+ years of one time investment.
Ecovacs released the X2 Omni (for international markets and potentially usa) and Roborock has the P10 Pro coming soon (for China)!
Wow, they have it! SQUARE (insert X2 Omni)
@@MandrakeRoomba not sure what the P10 Pro is gonna have
unsure if I like the design, really different, especially the button; stats look very good apart from the battery and they are normally quick to get them to other countries. An odd fact, there is a t20 Pro in China that has a water tank
so good to see an honest review. very thorough. thanks for mentioning the app issues.
I agree 100%. I do love my T20 - it saves me a lot of time. Walk out the door and she does her thing. 🙂
What a detailed and thought through review, especially the practical part when cleaning. Thank you for those:) By the way is there any page summarising all your tests for vacums where we can see some comparisons?
I am planning on putting that together soon. Thanks for the compliments!
Thanks for the honest reviews
Always!
any recommendations for UK for mopping robot?
@@MrKlawUK Yes that is correct
So the rubber brush was the opposite of the Dreame. Did worse on hard floors, not better.
I will have my X2 video out next week. The X2 currently has a few issues they need to work out with the navigation.
The small dustbin should only be a problem on the first run after you buy it. Running it every other day after that their shouldn't be that much dirt being picked up
Well that depends on if there are pets in the house and if there are multiple stories in the home as well.
Roborock P10 PRO is here! Here are the upgrades features from the P10 (Q Revo):
-7000 PA suction
-ReactiveAI Obstacle Avoidance with RGB cameras and 3D light (no cross lasers tho), plus a fill light
-Built-in Voice Assistant. Say “Hello Roborock,” then do your command.
-60 °C hot water mop cleaning plus auto detergent tank (I believe)
-Some water ppm sensor in the dock that senses the dirtiness of the dirty water being sucked up and adjusts cleaning intensity until the mops are cleaned.
Things Roborock still needs to add:
-Removable water tank (make it bigger too)
-DOCK BUTTONS!!!
Thanks for the details!

Have you had a chance to try out the Ecovacs Omni X2?

The mapping is absolutely horrible. I have mapped my house a dozen times and it is still no where near accurate.
My Dreametech L10s Ultra so far out does the Omni X2.

Dreame is not perfect, but way better than this thing so far.

have you tested a two floor home to see how it behaves if you have hard floors you want to clean? can you just manually wet the mops, carry it upstairs and let it go, then take downstairs to send it home and wash/dry? that’d be enough for me I think
No I only have a single story home, however without on board water you will need to not have too much floor to cover or you will carry it up and down often to have the pads washed and rewet. I recommend a robot with a built in water tank if that is your case.
I just purchased mine from Best Buy for a little less than 700.

What is an onboard water tank? Do you mean a water tank in the robot itself? None of the competitors have it as well right? All of them have it in the base station.
Yes the water tank in the robot itself. Most robots have this to keep the pads at a consistent wetness while mopping.
This year the X2 Omni on paper is balls to the walls vacuum robot, 8000 Pa in 9,5 CM height, square shape, 15mm mob pads lifting ability and so

I have not. I'll take a look.

I have no plans to compare those at the moment, but I did compare the X1 with the L10s is you have not seen that video it is on my channel and might help some.
I think some of the original issues with the robot has been fixed by software updates. Splitting floor plans is still a joke though...
Very helpful thanks my brother 🙏
PS if you know anyone that's trying to sell just the base station (idk why they wouldn't sell it as a combo but just in case) let me know
@@maheshr4108 Yea I would not carry the base upstairs.

Can you use floor cleaner in the water tanks?
Yes you can! I recommend the manufacturer's solution.
Which one would you recommend between this one and L10s ultra ?
If they are the same Price the L10s Ultra has an integrated water tank and detergent injection. It also has a more user friendly app.

The Reddit community is talking a lot about the P10 Pro. There are 5 key things that might come on the P10 pro:
1: Hot Washing.
We shall see.
I shared all the images and cleaning logs with ecovacs and the response was this
"From the images it does look like the cushions sag down a little under the couch hence giving the illusion of an obstacle perhaps.
Also to add, I've had a response regarding the scrubbing of the mops on the carpet
"Unfortunately there is unfortunately no way to disable this - as the unit is programmed to have the mopping plates down and spinning while the unit is returning to the station.
It is unfortunately our general recommendation to place the station on a hard floor area."
I think this is quite a big issue for anyone like me planning to place this on or close to a carpet. I know I could put something over it but my carpet is a medium pile and a protector wouldn't sit flat. Not only would it look ugly but it would be a tripping hazard for my kids
@@RichyNeal that is pretty bad imo.

Yea not sure if they will fix the software bugs, but the roller brush and small dustbin are not easily fixable issues.
@@jamie.andrews my belief or suspicion is this: some companies make minor changes in an attempt to sell more units as most people don't take the time to research the product as you do. Prior to buying a insurance policy buyers should always read the exclusions first. Prior to buying a robot vacuum I believe it's important to look for weak spots cause a vacuum is a long-term use product. You found several that cannot be ignored.
@@gwmattos I am not sure what Ecovacs is doing, but it is confusing to say the least. I also noticed many TH-cam reviews are paid sponsorships which is something I never do with robot vacuums. I do not want to be told what I can or can't say and I want to provide honest reviews. I watched 2 reviews of this vacuum on channels I usually respect and they made claims this is the best on the market.
