I've just upgraded my LG CX to LG G4, your guides have really helped dial in my settings and it looks incredible! Great job brother, keep up the good work.
@ CX has very poor black level preservation and detail in blacks are mostly ruined, colour is also alot brighter om the G4 and C4. G4 and C4 is alot brighter in all scenes thanks to the screen having alot better hardware. • ALOT BRIGHTER! • 3x faster hardware • twice as good colour saturation • better motion clarity and motion handling overall. • real 120hz panel instead of the native 100hz panel on the cx and c1. They only overclocked there panels to reach that number. I definitely recommend that upgrade if you have the coin 😁👍 C4 is mostly alot cheaper and if you can get that in a bigger size then the G4 then thats what I would recommend. C4 is the exact same tv but it has a little better colour volume/brightness and is overall not as bright. But because of ABL being more aggressive on LG G4 the brightness difference is not as big as most people thing, you can notice a 5% brighter difference between them mostly with your own eyes, and the G4 is silver instead of Gun metal Black in its frame. Its your pick man 😁❤️
@@EverythingPS5Pro thank you for the detailed awnser my friend. I just ordered the g4 in 65 inches as 77 inches would not really fit in my small living room. I got an open box for €1800 which seemed like a decent deal to me. I am excited to see the improvements this friday 💪🏻. Thanks again!
a lot of people say HGIG is a lot more accurate but it looks a dimmer than Dynamic tone mapping. What do you think? And why is dynamic tone making off better than HGIG?
Dynamic Tone Mapping is better because it injects the HDR information that is missing, like midtones and overall exposure. DTM is then brighter and more refined but less accurate because it pushes more then the original signal wants to. However this is not bad at all and most people know nothing of what they speak of.
I so want to understand what the hell you are doing but my brain just explodes every time I try 😅just bought a C4 and it would be nice to have the best picture quality but I didn't knew u had to be a rocket scientist on shrooms to get it
I recently upgraded from a CX 65” to a G4 83”, and I have to say the out-of-the-box experience has been fantastic! However, I believe there’s room for improvement, as you mentioned in your video. I appreciate the effort you put into creating the video, but I found myself a bit lost at times. The steps felt a bit scattered, with a lot of jumping forward and backward, which made it challenging to follow. I understand it can be difficult to cater to everyone's preferences and calibration needs, and you covered a lot of information. It would be really helpful if the guidance could be presented in a more structured format so that it’s easier to follow, for an average guy like me. Thank you for your content-it’s very valuable!
I've just ordered this tv, I'm going to have to watch this video a few times to get my head around these settings as I am a simpleton. Looking forward to trying it out.
Lucky you! 😁❤️ thanks for watching! Keep me posted on what you think about it, I have other great videos about the C4, my whole channel is all about it actually 🙌
I honestly admire the fact that you are in love with tvs and you undestand so much regarding picture quality . You put your time and efford for us while speaking in your not native language. But I really can't see the point of this video , I followed your steps and saw the video 2 times and spent more than an hour listening again and again. My G4 had the worst picture quality imaginable after following this video and it was hard to reverse all these settings. Please out of respect of everyones time and will to support a chanel like this , make sure you mantain a plan throughout the video with more clear instructions when going back and forth . G4 especially is so great that it merely needs any adjustment and I only followed this to go a little extra as tv lover myself. These settings just feel like too much to mess with , a good tv like G4 dont even need those . Thanks for being active and reading all comments .
If your happy with your tv and its default settings thats ok, but for the enthusiast that wants MORE and is not happy they come to me for answers, this video is not an answer to all questions but to some. I am sorry my video was not to your taste but then just dislike the video and do not watch me again. I get 30-60 comments a day saying that I transformed there tv and its alot better now, and because of that I won’t be taking it back to the store to get my money back. I also get alot of comments everyday of people saying that “your settings are ruining peoples tvs” and that I am ruining artistic intent, all I care about is the user and there intent, I do not care for the creators intent at all. Your comment is both ignorant and kind at the same time, this content was not for you and that is fine, my videos are made into a structure that is slow and easy to understand for pros and beginners alike, its a channel for enthusiasts to watch just for entertainment and for learning, its not for everyone, but please don’t waste your time typing here in my comments if this is your idea of being constructive. 80% of the people that watch my videos are happy, the other 20% do not understand that I have worked as a tv calibrator and that a calibrated panel really doesn’t mean much at the end of the day and is just a way to rob people of there money to make the screen more “accurate” and boring. I take this time to write all of this to you to help and educate the people of the future of this channel, I am not hear to waste anyones time. I construct and rely on the viewers opinion but not when it’s pure nonsense.
I used these settings but I only used dynamic tone mapping on black level at 50 sharpness 0 color depth 50 white stabilizer at 0 and black stabilizer at 4...detailed adjustment at minus 20...in shadow of the Tomb Raider definitive edition...on my lg c 4 "55 and the image in that juice is incredible o My god, the image is incredible...I found your videos and I wanted to try your settings and they really work...very good content. Hello brother just bought new C4: need settings for I am a sports gamer first then Elden ring, black ops, souls games etc. What’s the best settings to put please? I’m also a well versed movie lover, would love your opinion on movie settings too
Hi, thanks for this precious video! I have one question: in which type of game or situation is better to set dynamic tone off? @@SilverBld LG C1 and C4 is the same tv, C4 does some stuff a little better then C1 but most things are exactly the same, thats for all LG OLEDs. So yes you can try these settings but C4 has wayy better dark detail handling so you might lose detail near black if you overdo black stabilizer settings and white stabilizer might ruin highlight detail, your gonna have to try it for yourself. On C4 its perfect, but C1 is older and has a less efficient chip inside, so might not work as efficiently.

@ Yes, everything else was clear! I wasn’t sure about those colour adjustments because you were switching modes. Thank you for the quick reply! Already checked out the rest of your content, the fact you’re actually using DTM is refreshing compared to others😉
If your game doesn’t send 120fps then its going to be stuck at 60fps, you can go into settings on PS5 and toggle 120hz support and navigate to the Game Presets tab and enable Performance mode from there. That will enable 120hz for 120fps enabled games 😁👍
Hey I’m trying to calibrate using your video here. I just got the G4. But a lot of the game optimizer settings are greyed out and I can’t change them. Like the first settings you show in this video. It’s stuck in Standard mode. Can you help please? Why can’t I select different modes?

Thank you so much for your response, I recently got an LG G4 83" and with this settings in my PS5 looks incredible. Im building a high-end PC so thats why I'm asking you in hopes for give me some advice. Another question please, I notice that If I turn Off VRR and ALLM and turning On 144 Hz Mode my image gets darker, but if I left all three ON the image looks better. I see in the video that you suggest turning on VRR and ALLM and turning off 144hz and viceversa. What would you recommend to get the best picture quality in gaming? @@Altogrande For PC I recommend RTX HDR if you have an rtx 3000/4000 card. If not, then you can use reshade+liliums shader tools to fix black levels and optimize HDR or if a game is SDR only you can use MajorPainTheCactus AutoHDR addon with reshade+ imverse tone mapping, then set for the brightness your tv can handle and set 2.4 or 2.2 gamma. Hello from France. It's not easy for me to follow the video with the automatically generated subtitles. And you're a little quick sometimes! Despite everything, I have a few questions. The purpose of this video is to adjust 3 modes: Filmaker, vivid and gamemode? But which one to choose for the PS5pro once the settings have been made? Also, in general, HGIG is recommended, why do you recommend DTM? I'm going to watch the video again to try to understand all this...Thank you again for this video!

How do i know, after calibrating Filmmaker, Vivid and Game optimiser like you explained in the video, when to choose between them? For example i just got the new Dragon Age Veilguard game, which one should i choose with your settings?
@EverythingPS5Pro Its very new to me, Oleds and calibrating. So basically i can input everything you are showing in every preset and then just choose which one is best based on the game? Or is there a definitive preset out of them you truly like the most?
Ok, then I will.have to go back to your movie settings that actually look amazing on my 83 inch g4. Shame we can't have game settings and movie settings
@gufiaito69able my recommendation for Dolby Vision Movies is actually to calibrate Vivid Mode with my settings from the Movies Settings video and get it to look as closely as possible, and then crank up red, green and blue on low point to +50 That will increase the brightness on all movies without messing with EOTF tracking 😁👍
Hello again 😂.. Just wanted to know how important is the HDR Calibration? I mean the "move until the symbol is barely visible" setup, and do you have to repeat it after you changed settings? Sorry iam Not sure right now if you already explained this, havent found it again 😅 The other thing is, do you have any tips for minor Calibration? Maybe certain test pictures to look at, things that help a little setting colours right. I like the look of the C4 and love the picture (your videos help a lot) but sometimes it seems a little tinti 😂.. i cant point my finger on it, maybe red is a little missing, but just pushing red, i dont know, any advice? @@theevildude666 Question 1 Its not important at all, just use Dynamic Tone Mapping and pick the correct nits target in games or close to it and you will be fine “4000nits”

You must be doing something wrong, go into vivid mode and open up the tv side menu, and add game optimizer to the menu then enter that menu from there and click enable up in the right hand corner. In the future, right now there is more demand for gaming and PS5 Pro related content. But I haven’t forgotten about you and the others asking for it ❤️
One thing I don't understand that I saw on GamingTech is setting range to auto/auto instead of limited/limited. GamingTech said if you set to limited/limited you lose detail in HDR, and I cannot tell a difference between auto/auto or limited/limited.
@@firstcomesrock8593 I don’t trust what most content creators say, I make my own opinions around my own research. I have checked back and forth and limited/limited has the higher peak brightness and deeper blacks with greater colour range. If he says something else then he doesn’t know how the settings work at the time of recording that video. Not all professionals are truly professional.
@@EverythingPS5Pro At this point I am at the same point with trusting most content creators. They seem to all just copy and paste the same settings in their videos without explaining anything. I will stick to using limited/limited then!
@@firstcomesrock8593 Just to let you know you should be open minded when it comes to these kinds of settings and experiment for yourself to see what works out for you. Nearly all the top experts reccomend to use auto included the two guys I use for settings - HDTVtest and TechGaming, and it’s worked out perfectly for me for the past 3 years. The screen looks way better too whereas in limited it is washed out. This guy even said it himself that it’s just his opinions, and he even said in another comment that he thinks LG C4 is better than G4, even though G4 is just the way superior TV for gaming of 2024. I’m not saying anything bad about him but point is to check everything else out first. But then again you may test between the two and actually like limited, so it can be a hit and miss too. Also, he is correct that a lot of these ‘professionals’ aren’t really professionals and not all these top content creators are to be trusted, but the only two ones that are the best are HDTVtest and TechGaming when it comes to settings.
Hello i recently got lg c4 and i have a problem in black ops 6 zombies when im looking in the direction of the sun it becomes dimmer and not as bright Is there setting that i could use to prevent this from happening
This is something that happens on all OLED panels, its to prevent burn-in. Its called ABL and there is no way to turn it off, however in the filmmaker mode and the vivid mode you get alot less ABL limiting strength from my testing 😁❤️
@@EverythingPS5Pro I have one more question because when i open the game and im switching to multiplayer or zombies there is flickering when its loading but i dont get that on my monitor is that normal. Thanks in advance and sorry to bother you again
Flickering? Well there is VRR flicker, but this isn’t a thing I’ve ever noticed on my panel. Black Frame Insertion “BFI” or (TruMotion OLED Motion) does make the screen flicker ALOT! I do not recommend this feature. De-Judder and De-Blur is nice though 😁

I use 8-9 on the Black Stabilizer. 12-15 on the White as I figured out it makes bright areas less "burned" out. What do you think about White Stabilizer? I'm yet to figure out what exactly it does.
@@TheIconizer Your heavily ruining highlight pop on your OLED going above 5 on white stabilizer, you must like a washed out picture or your calibrating somethinng else wrong to compensate. Trust me, those values are off. I have worked as a tv calibrator I understand midtone calibration better then most, try my tips instead and see how you like them, at the end of the day its your tv, but don’t recommend horrible settings that will ruin it for people who want more. With those settings you gain less punch overall from your shiny OLED, its going to look more like an LCD. Love you man either way, just wanted to let you know ❤️
@@EverythingPS5Pro Mine was calibrated by an ISF certified calibrator, that's why I asked, because true white clipped while lowering the values. It used to work differently, but now it seems something is not okay. Older LGs were okay with 7-8. But with or below 5 all details are lost. I'm not yet ISF certified so I can only check with colormeter. 100% white seems okay, but burns out at 5-0 on a G2. I do feel that 0 makes the picture brighter but color tones seems washed out this way, I also loose details on bright areas like for example Cyberpunk tile picture in ps5 library above 8 I can see all details, setting it to 0 makes the colors a bit washed out and I loose details. I set it to WS to 0 now. Enabled HGiG for the ps5 HDR calibration and I hat go back one step on the whites. Would this be an accurate? What do you think?
@TheIconizer you gain a brighter image because when dialing down white stabilizer to 0 it makes stuff close to white, pure white. This also makes colours turn more closer to white which does wash out some colours “slightly” so I recommend using a higher colour range then average. On my C4 I can use colour gamut Native and colour on 80 without any major colour bleed, however 75 is perfect for colours, 80 is less perfect. If your gonna go the calibration route then don’t change settings at all after the calibration was done. Almost all settings you change ruins the calibration. Thats why I don’t recommend getting it professionally calibrated it ruins the fun of changing settings and getting an image that suits your personal needs best. I have calibrated my panel, but I almost never use those settings for gaming, it looks more bland and boring. However it looks great for serious movies and series and horror games. Else then that I like a contrast boosted image with lots of image clarity but MORE DEEP BLACKS. Blacks is after all why most people buy an OLED, to get an impressive looking image with lots of contrast compared to there older LCD. My settings that I recommend makes that wish come true for alot if people, my videos are not for professionals that wish to colour correct there panel. That’s unnecessary and boring at the end of the day. My Filmmaker mode and Vivid and Cinema Home is calibrated for movies and Game Optimizer is made to look good for games. You do you man ❤️

LG OLED is better at almost everything, “almost” everything. Streaming quality has less compression on apps on LG so movies look alot better, and gaming has more features and calibration is almost perfect out of the box, Samsung is very wrong out of the box… VERY WRONG 😂 You made the best choice, trust me and just get used to the brightness 👍
I just bought the C4. The screen looks amazing and crystal clear on the PS5 menu, but after the game launches the image changes from crystal clear to jagged edges. The change happens during the loading screen on Fortnite, Astrobot and EAFC24. The weird thing is that the text looks sharp in the games but the gameplay is jagged. Any ideas what's happening? Ive tried it in game mode, standard mode, cinematic mode etc and the same thing happens. When i come out of the game, back to perfect resolution.
@EverythingPS5Pro thanks for the reply. No when I connect it to my other less expensive 4kTV it's perfect and remains that way during gameplay. Even gameplay in Fortnite, when I tried in 60fps, is exactly the same problem on C4 with the jagged edges. Not just the loading screen
Sorry, I am very new to all this and I just got my C4. So if I understand correctly these 3 are the most common used modes for gaming and we calibrated all of them. From now on is a matter of personal preference? Because I can't get used to the calibrated Game Optimizer mode at all due to how dark and contrast-y it is. It feels a bit overly dark and lifeless. In God of War Ragnarok for example I can no longer see the fur details on Kratos' black bear cape. I'm not sure what settings to change to fix this. But vivid looks STUNNING and full of details!
Game Optimizer is technically the best mode for gamers, it doesn’t have to be calibrated so dark, you can leave black stabilizer alone and leave it at 10 as I stated in the video and it won’t get too dark. This video is not for “perfection” its for giving tips on how YOU can calibrate for your own to get the picture you want. Personal preference with tips from creators is key 👍 Its okay I understand your situation, but the truth is you will learn with plenty of time and patience 😁❤️
@EverythingPS5Pro after tweaking the black stabilizer a bit more (it's now on 7) it looks great. The HDR is insane! ❤️ A bit offtopic, but I'm wondering if you know a fix for an issue I'm having with the LG remote input lag. While I made all the image settings while on the PS5 input, all remote actions in the menu had 2-3 seconds of lag. I can't find anything on the internet and it's only on PS5. Browsing the menu on Nintendo switch for example is perfectly fine
black stabilizer 9, white stabilizer 10, game contrast 100, 41 game black level, game color depth 8, cold temperature cold 20. His settings are way to dark and ruins the game in my opinion. I want bright colors and no washed out look.
No green tint or pink tint, No Dirty screen effect no issues at all actually. I got very lukcy with my panel 😅 I honestly would replace my unit and say I wasn’t happy with my purchase and try to get a new one if I saw such an issue. As a calibrator such a flaw would ruin my day everytime I would use my panel 😂 thats more of a me kinda thing though
Hey, nice video! I just purchased the 77-inch c4 ! I saw the tv in person and my haw dropped! But im having second thoughts that maybe samsung or Sony would have been better! Buonmajority of people i see online say c4 or g4 are the best for gaming! Do you think it is the best tv out there for gaming?

@@blackflame2good If you have an LG OLED then its easy, turn on HGIG and dial it up until you clearly cannot see the pattern anymore on page 1 and 2. On page 3 drag it down to max 0% so that you cannot go more low on the settings ❤️ Now you can use Dynamic Tone Mapping and HGIG as you choose 😁
@blackflame2good depends on what you prefer, Dynamic Tone Mapping is easier to use, HGIG is for advanced viewers. Colour Gamut: Native (80 in saturation) is what I use for my games, but Auto Detect and 50 is accurate.
Hey there so I‘ve got a question is it better to have VRR & G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium both activated in game optimizer mode or better only one of those two and if yes which one should I pick ?
(VRR & G-Sync) is faster and more stable and doesn’t use as much tv processing because its an NVIDIA chip installed on the motherboard of your TV. *This works for PS5 AMD Freesync Premium is only software so it adds a little latency, nothing much but still not as good. @@EverythingPS5Pro thanks so much again for your response and your patience! But, I have 2 last (I promise!) questions: 1. Would you recommend DTM on or off (professional) / HGIG? Some experts (on the internet) say that you must never use DTM in gaming if you have an oled with HGIG and you should always use HGIG.. What do you think? 2. When should we do the HDR adjustment in PS5? Before your calibration settings or after? Some say that we should do the adjustment with HGIG on, and then to anable DTM if we want. So is this the right order?: HGIG mode with black/white stabilizers in defaults --> HDR adjustment in PS5 --> DTM on and callibrate with your settings? I also found a link with a guide for PS5 HDR adjustment that says that if you want to adjust HDR in PS5 with DTM on, then you set (in PS5 HDR adjustment settings): "First screen / Max Luminance: +25 clicks (starting from 0; all the way to the bottom), Second screen / Max Luminance: +25 clicks (starting from 0; all the way to the bottom), Third screen / Min. Luminance: 0 clicks (all the way to the bottom)". I tried that with DTM on and with your calibration settings (game optimizer mode) and the image I'm getting is more awesome! What do you think? I can't post the link here, cause youtube removes my comment for some reason, but if you search "Playstation HDR Calibration app - HDR Optimized Settings", it's the first result (not a video) that pops. As for the colour calibration overall, isnt it true that you need to calibrate every unit on its own so general settings dont apply to every unit but we can try the settings and see if we like them, but they mostly will not be accurate? And my last question, do you know why LG is kind of locking the other modes away from game mode and you have to do a little bit of konami code to access them? Really love your work, keep it up Greetings
@@theevildude666 LG OLED tvs are actually very well calibrated from factory, thats just how they are made, but in order to fix skin tones and fire reds and much more you need to go atleast WARM50 to get close to 100% perfection. As I said though, calibrating is not important. Its more for enthusiasts that can see when stuff is wrong like me 🤣❤️ You can use default settings if you’d like its totally fine 😁❤️ Thanks for watching friend! 🙌
No, sadly not. If it was possible it would ruin the tv very fast 😔 Burn-in and image retention would become insane, its better the way it is right now for the health of the panel 👍
Most users that have LG OLED like to be a little extra advanced and use 3-4 difficulty modes for different content to have more flexibility. For your case just calibrate the modes you think you will be using in the future 😁
@@EverythingPS5Pro thank u for ur reply, but smthn I still not get : Is it possible to have filmmaker mode enable with game optimizer at the same time ? ( very good video btw :) )
Wanted to share as well that u HAVE TO put HDR ON all time on the ps5 pro screen settings even if the game has no hdr in its own settings or it will reset ur lg game optimizer settings when launching a non hdr game😁
But are not these general settings game dependent? Like some games support hgig and system level calibration, some do not, some have raised black levels, some do not.
@@TheEdmaster87 HGIG is only amazing for a hand full of games DTM correctly calibrated is way better. And no these settings are for most games and you can try them out to see what you like and don’t like 👍😁
@@EverythingPS5Pro I use HGIG on PC with Windows 11 HDR calibration tool. It looks fantastic, sometimes I reduce the brightness to 1000 nits tops on my G4 in dark room because the MLA+ panel is so bright perceived when you look at it, its very blinding on many games. HGIG gives the peak highlights and work for many HDR PC games, if the game lack HDR, I use RTX HDR or I use the majorpainthecactus addon with reshade which also works so well. HGIG also lacks support on many PC games, but on Windows 11 it works on many games even without support. I believe the case for this is different on the PS5.
That is awesome, I play Nintendo Switch in Filmmaker mode, because it looks way better. The input lag is low enough but with this trick it could be even more responsive 😊
@ its hard to imagine it without having the tv infront of me, I might have to make a video on this then. There is a lot of people that have issues with this ❤️
@@EverythingPS5Pro yes, please buddy. also got a big issue that hard to explain. when something in the screen go brighter, like in corner then the some area in the screen goes brighten up too. it´s a mix of brighter and sharper and looks weird. it happen on all presets beside game optimiser.
Hey! Great video!! I have some questions though: 1) The brightness set to zero is just for Black Myth, right? 2) Would you recommend your filmaker settings for dolby vision and hdr10 movies also? 3) Which mode do you prefer for gaming? Game optimizer? Filmaker? Or Filmaker with game optimizer on (with your settings of course)? Again amazing video! Thank you so much for your time!
Game Optimizer for all games except GTA 5 and Cyberpunk 2077, and ues Filmaker mode is best for movies but I use black level 35 for movies on it to prevent black level raise and wash out from most movies. 😁❤️ I set Black Stabilizer to 3-0 most of the time for all games, I really like the look personally, but if its too dark for you, then you can always do 6-4 instead 👍 Thanks for the kind comment! 🥺❤️ means alot!

@@EverythingPS5Pro Oh no, I was referring at 0:55 when you said that for this game in particular, you set brightness setting to 0. Were you referring to pixel brightness or some other setting? And for other games, this setting is set to max (100)?
I see what you mean, I have a video for Gaming and a video for Movies/Anime. Warm50 is for colour accuracy, its not something you need to use or ”should” like just because its ”better”. The best option is the one that makes it look best to your eyes 👍. Thanks for watching and hopefully you subscribe so that we can talk again in the near future 😁❤️
I left by mistake video range to limited on filmaker mode on my G4 and auto on PS5 pro and i think i liked the contrast more. What is your opinion? Is this setting completely wrong? Thank you in advance!
Its fine until your in 120hz mode and the PS5 cannot send a full range HDMI signal and hard cuts the signal strength, Limited/Limited correctly calibrated is brighter and has higher contrast ratio. Full on Console and Limited on TV is what you should have in theory but because PS5 Games cannot run at full HDMI speed it will limit contrast and cut it in half. I recommend Limited/Limited for consistency. Thats what I use 😁❤️
@ HECK YEAH!!! The B4 and the C4 and the G4 is the exact same tv, the only difference between them is brightness and 120hz to 144hz. It is the exact same tvs, nothing is being left out. NOTHING You should be happy and proud to own an LG OLED, its definitely a premium and when you learn about settings and calibration you can achieve amazing results with these panels 😁

@@EverythingPS5Pro Thanks!!! I also have a question! I was playing Sony a90j last of us 2 remastered and there was a setting that made the game look really glossy. Am I missing that setting somewhere on the LG?
I have the LGG3 and just found out my Denon 3800H doesn’t support 1440p but does 2170p. Have to connect my PS5 Pro to tv, my Xbox can play through the receiver.
Correction! 2160p 😁❤️ PS5 Pro also only outputs 4K so at 1440p or 1080p it would looks blurrier then on a 4K output receiver or TV/Monitor. Most people believe games can be downsampled to 1080p and give mote fps bud this isn’t the case, its still forcing 2160p scaling on the 1080p signal, making it blurrier then true 1080p. The best choice for you is to max out the receiver and play at the highest bit rate and highest capable resolution from the PS5 Pro, 4K 120hz VRR HDR10 is atleast my recommendation for close to perfection.
@@EverythingPS5Pro you are correct 2160p my fingers are dyslexic. :) I spent hours trying to figure out how to get my receiver to output my PS5’s 1440p, only to find out the Denon is the problem. So the connection is PS5 to TV. tv to receiver. Oy!
@@karlos5885 Yes! 😁❤️ I almost always pick black stabilizer 0 - sharpness 0 but indeed it is my recommendation for the viewers. Thanks for watching! And please make sure to adjust settings according to what you prefer! 😁❤️
Ehmm no… There is a reason Game Optimizer is limited, most games have an in-game HUD, that will damage the pixels and burn-in over time. Limiting it system side will remove this issue for the users 99% of the time. If you use Game Optimizer inside of Vivid Mode then yes it will remove this limitation, however I posted a new video today you could use those settings in combination with these settings and you will get really excited about vivid mode 😁❤️ I found out how we can get 100nits more full screen with a simple trick!
@bromaro it will, but it will still be alot better then all LCDs and Mini LEDs on the market. Its up to you man 😁👍 It will also not be wildly off, it will just be slightly off, watch my newest video and try the settings at warm 25 with my tricks on vivid.

Hey its me again and I wanted to ask you if you could tell me if my settings are good if that’s okay…. It’s on Game Optimizer, it’s on HGiG,Video Range Limited,WARM 50, Fine Tune Dark Ares -20, Black Stabiliser 4, White Stabiliser 0, Game Contrast 100, Game Black Level 50, Adjust Game Sharpness 28, Game Colour Depth 50, Dynamic Tone Mapping is HGiG, Game Genre Standard, and TV and Ps5 are both set to limited.
@ Yes 👍 sharpness is only if you want it, least sharpness I can recommend is 10 to get some small anti-aliasing from the panel engine, however 28 looks best in my opinion 😁 Super Res can add aliasing artifacts so if you use it and you see issues then turn it off. I play it on High right now, but that doesn’t mean anything I change my settings every single day almost 🤣
@@sinith57 Yes! It only happens the first time you do this trick, you can enable Boost so that it stays on whenever you feel like it 👍 Just come back and ask me anything else if you need any more help 😁❤️
@EverythingPS5Pro sounds great! Currently I have an issue when in a game for 10-15 mins, my screen goes black and the volume on TV goes up to 1 then my game comes back on and usually the picture is brighter. Happens only once each session. I'm currently in game optimizer mode with just the basic settings on. So hopefully changing to all these settings fixes that issue.
@ when turning on a game on any tv with support for VRR the tv will switch buffer mode to use the variable refresh rate function instead of the fixed mode. This turns off and on the screen, usually takes 1-2 seconds to complete its cycle. It happens on all TVs and it’s normal. If this happens during gameplay then your HDMI port could be broken or the tv needs to be replaced or the hdmi cable might be faulty.
@EverythingPS5Pro good to know! I've only this tv for 1 month. I switched hdmi inputs already and still get it. I'll try these settings, if it still happens I'll try a new hdmi cord. Again it's only in gaming, completely fine when watching anything
@@antraxx_de4405 Yes! All LG OLEDs are the same tv but different models, all of my tips and tricks on this channel will benefit your beautiful C3 OLED 😎👍
When I set my black level I make sure the room is completely dark and I turn it down until I don’t see any kind of light on the black screen. Which is normally 49 or 48… You shouldn’t have any light on a black screen. Pixel should be completely off.
If you need to dial it down all the way to 48-49 then black is being crushed and midtones become darker then necessary. Like I said in the video 50 is perfect but 51 and 52 can improve dark detail for some games. Some games have black level raise however and so for does games I do very good recommendations later on in the video. Movies should be set to 33-38 on black level.
I'm so glad I found this channel. My c3 looks like how I always thought it "should" look.

@@d0pedrag0n no thank you for being here and I hope you subscribe so that I can see you again 😁❤️
How much of an upgrade is it? I have a cx right now and thinking about upgrading to the g4
@ CX has very poor black level preservation and detail in blacks are mostly ruined, colour is also alot brighter om the G4 and C4. G4 and C4 is alot brighter in all scenes thanks to the screen having alot better hardware.
• ALOT BRIGHTER!
• 3x faster hardware
• twice as good colour saturation
• better motion clarity and motion handling overall.
• real 120hz panel instead of the native 100hz panel on the cx and c1. They only overclocked there panels to reach that number.
I definitely recommend that upgrade if you have the coin 😁👍
C4 is mostly alot cheaper and if you can get that in a bigger size then the G4 then thats what I would recommend.
@666stereogod really good deal! 😁❤️ I am happy for you friend ❤️❤️❤️
a lot of people say HGIG is a lot more accurate but it looks a dimmer than Dynamic tone mapping.
I so want to understand what the hell you are doing but my brain just explodes every time I try 😅just bought a C4 and it would be nice to have the best picture quality but I didn't knew u had to be a rocket scientist on shrooms to get it
Can we get a step by step guide please with chapters?
I agree. Chapters would fix the issue of not being as straightforward as it could be for organization purposes
I completely agree. Also which picture mode do you use for gaming: filmmaker or gaming?

@gufiaito69able my recommendation for Dolby Vision Movies is actually to calibrate Vivid Mode with my settings from the Movies Settings video and get it to look as closely as possible, and then crank up red, green and blue on low point to +50

Its the game running at 1080p 120hz mode that your noticing or maybe its the fact that the developers are using low resolution loading screen art 👍

Personal preference with tips from creators is key 👍
Its okay I understand your situation, but the truth is you will learn with plenty of time and patience 😁❤️
@EverythingPS5Pro after tweaking the black stabilizer a bit more (it's now on 7) it looks great. The HDR is insane! ❤️
A bit offtopic, but I'm wondering if you know a fix for an issue I'm having with the LG remote input lag. @@EverythingPS5Pro thank you so much for your quick reply! I will watch them. Another question: is the B4 also a very good tv?
@ HECK YEAH!!! The B4 and the C4 and the G4 is the exact same tv, the only difference between them is brightness and 120hz to 144hz.
It is the exact same tvs, nothing is being left out. NOTHING
You should be happy and proud to own an LG OLED, its definitely a premium and when you learn about settings and calibration you can achieve amazing results with these panels 😁
Hgig looks incredibly dark for me ! Is that normal ?
Yeah I don’t like HGIG either, try my newest video were I make C4 brighter then all other OLEDs 😁❤️
Bro I just bought the G4 and I think my Sony a90j looked better in some instances which makes me think I should return the G4 and get A95L 😭😭
@ check out my newest video and use those settings and you will be surprised! 😁👍 I have many cool videos on how to make LG OLED look twice as good for all content check out all the videos and try out some other settings that I recommend and I know you won’t return it ❤️
@@EverythingPS5Pro Thanks!!! I also have a question! I was playing Sony a90j last of us 2 remastered and there was a setting that made the game look really glossy. Am I missing that setting somewhere on the LG?
@IvanRubin glossy? 🫠 what…
I have the LGG3 and just found out my Denon 3800H doesn’t support 1440p but does 2170p. Have to connect my PS5 Pro to tv, my Xbox can play through the receiver.
Correction! 2160p 😁❤️
PS5 Pro also only outputs 4K so at 1440p or 1080p it would looks blurrier then on a 4K output receiver or TV/Monitor.
Oy!
How can I change the std in the middle what u showed us in the beginning
@@samerssisters4193 change sound mode on tv to Game Optimizer 👍

@@karlos5885 Yes! 😁❤️
I almost always pick black stabilizer 0 - sharpness 0 but indeed it is my recommendation for the viewers.
Thanks for watching! And please make sure to adjust settings according to what you prefer! 😁❤️
Does this fix the dimming issue that c4 has with the default game optimizer?
Ehmm no…
There is a reason Game Optimizer is limited, most games have an in-game HUD, that will damage the pixels and burn-in over time. Limiting it system side will remove this issue for the users 99% of the time.
If you use Game Optimizer inside of Vivid Mode then yes it will remove this limitation, however I posted a new video today you could use those settings in combination with these settings and you will get really excited about vivid mode 😁❤️
I found out how we can get 100nits more full screen with a simple trick!
@ I’m worried vivid mode will make the colors inaccurate
@bromaro it will, but it will still be alot better then all LCDs and Mini LEDs on the market. Its up to you man 😁👍
It will also not be wildly off, it will just be slightly off, watch my newest video and try the settings at warm 25 with my tricks on vivid.
@@EverythingPS5Pro thanks
HI
is it true that you loose HDR brightness and color volume on game mode and we should try to use filmmakermode + ALLM?
Is ALLM good enough instead of game mode?
(PC player with LG c1 and 10400h:D but i want to buy this month LGc4 - not sure about G4 is it worth it)
@@Enihel the LG C4 is wayy better then C1 in all content scenarios, black levels are better and more detail full screen. The brightness loss has been fixed but colour pop is higher on filmmaker mode still.
I do not recommend G4, C4 is better for the money 👍😁
@@EverythingPS5Pro Thank you so much for your response :)
Always! 😎❤️
@@EverythingPS5Pro G4 is _way_ brighter than C4. If you get a good deal on Black Friday absolutely go for the G4

@@sanjitgill9429 I know the issue! 😁
Go to tv audio setting and change sound mode to Game Optimizer 😁❤️
So i have to set it for every type of game to get the most picture right?
@@AP-oz9xr Yes if you want absolute 99% perfection thats what need to be done.
I can't find dynamic tone mapping in LG G4

@ legend
@ can you make a video on settings for films and tv?
@ in the future definitely ❤️👍
Ty for all the work, explaining everything and what not 💜🙏
Mainly because of U and HDTVTest I ordered the LG C4 65" instead of the S90D 65"
Just wanted to ask U if I can put on the same settings when I connect the C4 to my gaming PC. I do not own any Consoles.
Greetings from Germany 💫
Yes you can put in the same settings! 😁❤️
But you will have to set some settings correct on pc first 👍
@EverythingPS5Pro Turn on HDR in Windows 11 I guess? 😂
I plan to stay on 120hz and Just Play some Singleplayer Games 💫
Mostly will enjoy watching Movies, Series and Anime in my very Low light Room ⭐
For Multiplayer I got a high end PC Setup 🙏
Also I will buy Wukong because of U
Haha, man...
Have a great day. Bless U

I got my C4 65" Yesterday. Very Happy with it. Coming from an Samsung QLED q80r. Watched Titanic on Disney last Eve with Dolby vision and ofc atmos. Was quite impressive. Right now watching crunchyroll with ur custom vivid settings. Im smiling whilst watching Dude...
Are the settings the same for Xbox Tom?
@@PurpleSlays Yes Friend 😁❤️
Hey its me again and I wanted to ask you if you could tell me if my settings are good if that’s okay….
It’s on Game Optimizer, it’s on HGiG,Video Range Limited,WARM 50, Fine Tune Dark Ares -20, Black Stabiliser 4, White Stabiliser 0, Game Contrast 100, Game Black Level 50, Adjust Game Sharpness 28, Game Colour Depth 50, Dynamic Tone Mapping is HGiG, Game Genre Standard, and TV and Ps5 are both set to limited.
Yeah its definitely some settings, but most games will be too dim, I recommend dynamic tone mapping ON instead of using hgig, thanks for watching 😁❤️
Should i also turn on dynamic tone mapping on the tv option just like the game optimizer option? And what about sharpness i feel like it’s unnecessary
@ Yes 👍 sharpness is only if you want it, least sharpness I can recommend is 10 to get some small anti-aliasing from the panel engine, however 28 looks best in my opinion 😁
Super Res can add aliasing artifacts so if you use it and you see issues then turn it off. I play it on High right now, but that doesn’t mean anything I change my settings every single day almost 🤣
If you don’t mind could you make a video in the future, for people who like their games more vibrant and colorful but yet accurate enough? pls 🙏❤
@ use colour gamut native and colour 80 👍❤️
so at the very end your input delay went back to standard and didn't stay on boost? Is that able to be changed back to boost?
@@sinith57 Yes! It only happens the first time you do this trick, you can enable Boost so that it stays on whenever you feel like it 👍
Just come back and ask me anything else if you need any more help 😁❤️
@@sinith57 did you read my entire comment? Does this only happen when you start a game?
That’s good for 48 c4?
@@joleblon7633 all of my settings I would argue are great for all LG OLED tvs 😁👍
Did you preorder the ps5 pro
No, not yet. Might get it next year though. PS5 with a 77” LG C4 is enough for now, this puppy cost me $3100 after tax 😅
Can i use this settings for the C3?
