@ I didn’t know there even was a demo for the game 🤣 no idea, Balanced Mode with 120hz signal looks really good. Demo doesn’t have that mode.

@ sharpness 3 on game is what I use and it looks great, u also need to use 0 sharpness on tv and no super resolution

VRR off ALLm off 120hz off Boost Mode off Then change mode to another tv mode, Game optimiser doesn’t work. PC Mode doesn’t work for this trick, you have to use Game Console for the HDMI signal. 4:4:4 passthrough can also not be enabled.

@@AdisVejzovic-th4ee Yes! As mentioned in this video PC Mode is slightly better for sharpness purity and colour banding so Yes! I do indeed recommend PC MODE 😁❤️

Thanks for the love man! 😁❤️ Have never noticed this whilst gaming, it only happens for me when I leave the room for 5minutes then come back. It requires absolute stillness to be able to activate on C4. Are you on PC?

@ Thanks for the answer 🙌🏼 I game on PS5, I’ve read that there’s an option in OLED Panel Care that is related to the brightness of the logos, but I disabled that and it does nothing. I’d love to remove that. If it helps, this always happens in the lobby for TLOU factions, for example. It gets darker after some minutes

@ what are you doing sitting still in the TLOU menues for minutes on end 🤣 there is no fix for it, its to save you from having to buy a new non-burnt tv ❤️

Yes I remember! 😁 Colour Banding is slightly smoother and finer but nothing else was really noticed.

@ I recommend PC mode for more purity of pixel sharpness and better colour banding.

It looks great! I will never use HDR10 ever again, its a joke in comparison to HLG SDR. It doesn’t need support for it, its just a frame-layer of information on-top of SDR content.

@@bmbrown9111 sounds like something is wrong with your configuration, run the game at 60hz go FULL/FULL on tv and console and make sure that you have black level at 50, this must fix the issues your seeing. However about that blue thing, that might be the game being calibrated to have blue black level raise its common in modern games, and its disgusting 🤣

@@EverythingPS5Pro I changed the color space on the Xbox to PC RGB which from what I’ve read is the equivalent of full range on color and changed video range on the tv to full. I’m assuming that was what you meant on full and full? Definitely heading in the right direction. Haven’t had time to play much but watched a few cut scenes and was impressed so far. Thanks for the suggestions!

Lowers latency and fixed color banding issues from the Game Console mode 😁👍

Gaming PC would be the best choice, I am actually thinking about upgrading my old rig soon, a new GPU would be nice… You LG C4 is killer-app you need nothing more, use it and combine it with a modern-low to midrange spec gaming PC and you will be amazed 😁❤️ However its important to note that a gaming pc will have a lot of fiddling with settings constantly for each game to work perfect and stack up great against a gaming console.

HDR on pc is so cooked but still has the highest potential to look good, just expect tweaking settings quite a bit

You sure its not just because your inside of HLG and have VRR turned off?

@EverythingPS5Pro iam not sure, i always had this when changing from Game Mode, just checked while playing in HDR, i think it always did this when changing from Game Mode and back

@@Mysteriis-TH-cam no I calibrated for HGIG then I use White Stabilizer 5, I change my settings all the time watch my newest video 😁

@ I did too with HGIG while calibrating. The sweet spot I figured out myself was white stabiliser between 5 and 10 not 0 combined with all other settings. But I guess you have already figured that out too, talking details here lol

Yes! 60hz is slightly slower, and yes Boost Mode still works with Vivid Mode.

I managed to just adjust the settings w/ the help of AI to look close to Vivid mode while staying in Game mode

@ThinkingCap_ Vivid Mode has alot higher white luminance in nits, and 60hz container allows for 4K Full Range RGB meaning atleast most of the pixel accuracy is preserverd for colour accuracy and sharpness and contrast. However 120hz runs at a 70% scale version when in 4K and 1440p they both run at YCBCR 4:2:2 and it looks washed out and horrible and you lose almost all near black detail. You also gain double as harsh colour banding. And colour range is almost cut at 60%. Input lag differential is around 4ms from 120hz to 60hz. 4K 60hz 9.9ms 4K 60hz 6.8ms (boost) 4K 60hz 5.8ms (boost/no vrr) 4K 120hz 5.5ms 4K 120hz 2.4ms (boost) 4K 120hz 1.4ms (boost/no vrr) These measurements are made in Game Optimizer. Vivid is on average 1-2ms slower. PS5 System Latency 86ms 60hz (VRR on) 36ms 120hz (VRR off) 34ms 120hz (VRR off and HDR off) You can force Game Optimizer on LG C4 and G4 onto all other video modes but latency is always slightly faster in the real mode.

Only use WebOS for watching movies, PS5 cannot handle Dolby Vision and will fall-back to 1080p.

@ ye i just want to try ps5 and i Watch on webos but dolby vision is not working in all movies and it doesn't work although it shows that it is available, I don't have hdr available on any film at all, is that normal? or is it just netflix's fault?

Turn off 120hz mode and go full/full and run at 50 Black Level and White Stabilizer 5 and Fine Tune -20 And do my newest video trick to enable HLG with brightness boost 😁❤️

Standard is for Default settings and User is for the settings in the video, whilst recording I realized not everything was default

@@cast3192 the absolute fastest way to game on LG C4 is 144hz mode enabled and VRR disabled on Console and on TV, and by Using Game Optimizer. HDCP and 120hz content will also go down to 1.4ms whice is awesome 🤩 However whilst Filmmaker mode might not be as fast, it is only around 1-2ms slower when 144hz mode is enabled so it should be fine, and its even faster when HLG trick is enabled. Most tv processing is offloaded at that point so it should feel great.

If your on xbox or PC then enable 4:4:4, but if your on PS5 then disable it. PS5 doesn’t support 4:4:4 Chroma yet. My newest video is for getting the most impact from your screen possible, I recommend those settings if your willing to ruin colour accuracy for a more impactful OLED experience 😁
