Majorette custom design Citroen Dyane Monte Carlo. Diecast model toy.

Citroen Dyane was created in the Majorette company in France in 1976. It was a model that was called rally. It had no windows, but had a canvas open roof. Later, this model got the Maharaja version, which was very futuristic and had a movable umbrella in the back. In the video, you can turn on subtitles in your language with a commentary on the action. Until 1982, the Majorette company produced many variants of this Citroen, in different colors. They were blue, green, gold, white, yellow and red. My model was incomplete. It did not have two wheels and a roof. It was quite curious because it also didn't have a cut-out in the back of the boot for the spare tire. I decided to do a Custom project based on this model and created the Monte Carlo model. As you know, the rally takes place in winter, so I equipped the Citroen with a rigid plastic roof, on which there are two spare wheels, cast by me in polyurethane resin, and a ramp with halogens for driving on special stages at night. I also created a packaging based on an original cardboard box, dedicated to the 200 series with my own car design. My dad bought a Dyane back in the 70's when I was a kid he sold his Ford Zephr to get one to save fuel trouble was this was so awful he traded it in for a Morris Travoler and then had wood problems Oh.. my Dad..Such good car choices..Beautiful resto I love you bring back memories forgotten I love your work

looks great and convincing. some teams of the stubborn cathegory actually ran these cars in rallyes, and someone from germany has a 2CV they try to let go slowly sideways, but it doesn't work. still surprisingly fast for a fistful of ccm...
anyway. great detailing, nice idea with the (gfk?) hardtop roof insert, maybe adds strength to the body, too. :)
I just looked at ebay; the maharadja version came without the slit for the spare wheel, and of course without the bull bar in front. it might have been interesting to mix the two, if only for the bar in the front...

I am so surprised these wheels are not available. I know you can get many options for HotWheels but it is so hard to believe the following for Majorette cars is not as strong. I loved mine when I was younger And have collected many more now for my children and I. I also love these Citroens. My uncle in italy had one for many years. I always loved the front more than the 2cv.
