Holy crap. Ann Wilson is STILL absolutely killing with her vocals after what, FIFTY years?? GOAT
She lost the high F# ability
@@GlennAustin829yeah, but still at 73…. She can still sing it good enough in my opinion. Go see them before you can’t anymore
She's struggling
YOU are DEAF!! She SUCKED!!
@@fender.munoz7 She lost a lot of her high range around 2019; she's still got a phenomenal lower range, but it's clear here they still need to rehearse a bit. I saw them in 2016 and it was one of the best live vocal performances I've ever seen, but at 73 she just isn't going to sound like she did at 30.
Y’all this is the ORIGINAL KEY from 1977!!!!!!!! 47 freakin years ago and this woman is still belting high Es!!! She’s 73 years old. This is remarkable. 🥹
She is, but her upper end is shot. She’s talking through parts and not sustaining some notes, but for 73 amazing!
Yes it's the original key but they need to take it down because Ann is talk-singing the high notes.
Stop obsessing with age, goddamnit. They're just good musicians doing their jobs. Period.
Even if they played a step or half step lower, fans would understand and still appreciate the performance!
@@adriantrusca1245
The overwhelming majority of singers lose their singing voice within 20 years because they strain their vocal chords night after night. Still being able to sing as well as Ann does after 50 years is a remarkable accomplishment.
Nancy Wilson is the coolest woman to ever strap on a guitar.
I've seen them live 4 or 5 times and every time Nancy is so high energy- keeping up with and in some parts out pacing the younger band mates. Love these women.
And a very nice woman too
I know. She looks amazing and she 70 years old! I'm 64 and I wish I has the courage to wear my hair like hers. I will never be as cool as the Wilson sisters and that's ok.
I am 33 and tears rolling down on my face watching these idols perform. All them great musicians of the 60s and 70s will never be replaced.
Goosebumps and tears! Absolutely amazing!
grow up kid
@@PitBullPlaysGames Grow those brain cells back that you have lost while playing video games. You obviously need them all back.
Actually, they _have_ been replaced. The Wilson sisters are the only two people on stage here who played on the original recording.
Thank you for appreciating it at your age!
Pay attention young ones because this is real Rock and Roll!
I was so lucky to be there for the best music EVER.
Hell yeah. I'm 30 YO now. My dad and I saw Heart when I was like...18 I think. My first rock concert. Amazing.
Closet rock
single hit crap... but anyway...
Yes
Old ladies and still got it. Don't worry, I'm old too. The fact that these two can rock so well at this age (70 and 73), shows the amazing, God-given talent they have.
LOL
🤘👵🤘
No way 😮❤
Old Fartz Reunion!
I've been there the whole way!
i AM SO happy they reconciled and are back on tour. I have seen them a few times and there is no other like Ann and Nancy!!! That voice and that guitar playing is forever cemented in rock and roll history.
🎶🎶🔝🔝🔝🔥🎸🔥😎😍
Very cool, shocked they reconciled.
They are the coolest grannies ever!
They're not really I've talked to some of the original band members at the guitar shop by my house and was completely surprised when they told me Ann thought she was the next Elton John and didn't care about people and Nancy was her flunky...
@@nkv47 Let me guess...less talented, butt-hurt dudes that thought they should've got more attention?
This song is 47 years old - and they performed it like it was still brand new WHAAAAAAAT? Absolutely Iconic ❤🔥
I know right ? I was 15 in 1977. Loved it then, still love it now. Wow, just WOW.❤
Just goes to show music is so timeless.
@cindyheadon9005 same, I saw them live way back in 1980 & 1981. They still rock ♥️ 🔥! Wishing you a great tour, @annwilson & @nancywilson & @Heart
@@cindyheadon9005 That was far from sounding like 70's Heart,,,i saw the 77 and 78 Tours
@@markgray6982 I saw the 78 tour and most of the tours since then. No, it wasn't that far from 70s Heart, but anyone thinking Ann is going to sound at 73 like she did at 30 is naive. The biggest difference between this and 70s Heart is Ann's voice is 40 years older and doesn't nail the high notes as well; otherwise it sounds like they always have. One other more minor difference is that in 78 Nancy played an acoustic on Barracuda which we could hear in certain spots and now they clearly don't have an acoustic playing along.
She has the most iconic female voice in rock history and at her age it’s amazing
@robertbyington7715...yes she does...she's the Freddie Mercury in woman form..
Next to Stevie Nicks
@@iAmMadeOfSoup yes who can forget Stevie Nick's from Fleetwood Mack...
Love her - now try the Valkyrie Goddess FLOOR JANSEN - loves Anne but a vocalist from another planet !!!!!
As far as female vocalists go. :
1. Anne Wilson
2. Janis Joplin
3. Stevie Nicks
4. Grace Slick
5.Amy Lee
73 years old Ann ... you are absolutely a godsend for singing
These women still looking beautiful & rocking out into their 70s! Always been amongst the best. ♥️
HEART - Anne and Nancy Wilson and band are one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. Go ladies!!
Seen them live in Glasgow 2001 amazing ladies so brilliantly talented
God bless you! Jesus saves sinners!
Not the original band.
This is Hearts signature song. Hearts GOAT performance was Kennedy Centers Honors Led Zepplin Stairway to Heaven! Pure magic!
They deserve to be honored at the Kennedy Center. Can you imagine that!! ♥️💯🔥
That was an awesome performance. I can watch that everyday.
That was *the* GOAT performance, not just Heart's.
They made better songs, but this one is still quite satisfactory.
True, but isn’t the riff, the original lead guitarist’s?
What a breath of fresh air in music. People in their 70s and actually singing and playing live
We don't get music like this anymore... Oh how I missed it. But it's awesome to see these ladies kicking @ss. Whoo hoo 🙌🏻
It’s kinda fun watching 70 year old ladies rock out. Heart is one of the all time greats for sure.
This song is so ahead of its time the riffs still slaps ,and the vocals are super intense.
The riff, by their own admission was lifted from Nazareth’s This Flight Tonight and Led Zep’s Achilles Last Stand. (They were opening for Nazareth prior to recording Little Queen).
It doesnt take anything away from the power of the song, but it is more honest.
@@ILJ68 I wish more credit was given to Nazareth. They were such an amazing band. Heart took the riff.
Top 5 riffs on the entire rock&roll history for sure
They were pissed 🤘
She's one of the best singers of all time. Her voice and performances are top notch. I'm not surprised at all she sings like this still.
Jimmy is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT... These ladies from HEART can still ROCK and BRING the HOUSE DOWN and in their early 70's they show no signs of slowing down 👏👏👏
Jimmy doesn’t have a clue. Wish he would just shut up
@@williamstevens4251 What's up with all the negativity towards Jimmy and Heart?
No negativity towards Heart. Love Heart. I just don’t care for Fallen
Holy moly they still sound incredible.
If anyone still needs convincing that these ladies are super talented, check out their Led Zeppelin tribute from the Kennedy Center Honors. It's one of the greatest performances in rock history.
It's amazing how Ann has preserved her voice.👍
She's very careful about not pushing beyond her limits. She's much more restrained here than she used to be, but thats to be expected. Her voice has aged about as well as Rob Halford, probably a bit better because she didn't have major issues as far as I know (that can make a big difference).
Agree. Up until 2019 she had lost absolutely nothing as far as range and power goes. It's obvious here she's lost some of that upper range, but at 73 after decades of belting it's impressive that she is still out there.
It's one thing to admire them for what they have done over their career, but to say her voice is still what it was is not true. Sorry
@@artnelsoncreativeDon't be sorry! Her voice is nowhere what it used to be. People who praise her voice now, must be partially deaf.
@@artnelsoncreative Who here said anything about it being what it was here? We're literally both saying she sounds good for her age...
these two sisters still got it. pure magic.
I've seen Heart 34 times since 1977. I was 15 the first time I ever heard them on my parent's Magnavox stereo console when Crazy On You was released. It sounded so awesome cranked up loud! The Wilson sisters have always rocked with a cool, unique sound!
I am 37 now and never had the chance to see them perform. Ann is one of my heroes and I said at the beginning of the year that IF i ever wanted to see her perform, that I have to travel to the US... few moments later I found out they are coming to some festivals my home country and belgium. S0, this year I will see them twice, a dream come true!
@Mariel1986 I am so happy for you. You deserve to see them! Have a very fun time this summer at your Heart concerts!
Waiting for them to finally come out on stage is the best! Get a tee shirt. Bring binoculars too.😁
@@markgionet4337 Thank you!! 🙏🏼 and Thanks for the tip about the binoculars😅😅 when i am there I will remember your comment for sure!
I was too young to see them during the Dog and Butterfly tour, but I've heard (and seen on video) that was the band's absolute best tour. The Largo 1978 concert on TH-cam is pretty incredible. Of their 80s/90s big tours I thought the Bad Animals tour in 87 was the best they sounded. Wasn't crazy about their sound mix on the 1985, 1990, or 1994 tours but 1987 they got rid of some of the polish and sounded really heavy and distorted.
Remember when concert tickets were cheap and you could do that no problem?! These days I don't know how anybody can go to 1 concert let along 34! Maybe if they are sitting so far back you may as well stay home.
Such a pleasure to see Nancy having fun rocking out. There will never be another Ann Wilson 🫡🙏🏼
Saw Heart in the late 80’s, still look and sound great. Ann and Nancy, two of the most amazing rockers of all time. Love love love them.
Seeing them soon on their tour! Ann is STILL amazing! No one else at 73 can still rock vocals like this!!
Im 26 but ann wilson is my favorite singer of all time, never heard anything like her 80's voice
Nice.
It's ok, Meh.
70s and 80s!
@@theodorerobert6579sing for us please then!
You’ve got great taste!!!
The fact that the guitar intro is what most guitars players play when demoing a flanger pedal with overdrive is a testament to the staying power of HEART!💣🎸🤘🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾💯🫡
Ann and Nancy Wilson forever! ❤
Nancy's little kicks are everything, she's always so much fun to watch. This band is incredible, these two are phenomenal.
As long as she doesn't break a hip it's all good. She must still spend time at the gym to be able to do that.
The band is not good at all. Ann and Nancy need the REAL Heart-Roger, Steve, Howard and Michael.
@@DCB728 By "this band" I mean Ann and Nancy, Heart as a band because it's their band, the band is them both.
@@TheMarizanebogdanAnn and Nancy are not the founders of Heart. That would be Roger Fisher and Steve Fossen.
With so many rock acts now singing to tracks it’s nice to hear real live music..
One thing about Heart is they'd never do that. Even back in the day when they'd appear on shows where bands were told to lip sync Ann generally refused; they'd use an instrumental backing track to whatever song but Ann would sing live. I think the only time I ever saw them truly lip sync was on ToTP, but aside from that Ann usually sang live even if the band had to fake it.
Rock goddesses at 73 and 70 out there rocking the house with their band of kick ass musicians! Love them and their band! HUGE tour this year! 💜❤️🤘🏻😃❤️💜
Wow sounds the same and she is still pretty
I wish Heart over the years had kept their band intact; my biggest disappointment about this tour is that they are using a hodgepodge of session musicians who have never played in Heart before. So to me it's not really Heart, it's Ann and Nancy with session musicians playing Heart.
@@chrisacer6605Well, Ann and Nancy are the two long-standing members of the group and there have been some incredible musicians in the group over the years. Would it be great to see a reunion of the original, RRHoF lineup? Hell yes! But the musicians in this group are all insanely talented and been loyal to Ann and each other as a band for at least the last 3 years and seem to have clicked really well with Nancy as well. There have been 30 plus different members of Heart over the years. These guys are just the newest and some of the best ones. I will be catching this tour as many times as possible. I will not, as a life-long fan, take for granted that it could quite likely be the last. 🤘🏻
How are they still so good, It's almost impossible Ann's voice is that powerful at her age. She is the only rock star her age that sounds the same if not better than when she was in her prime. Crazy. The entire band is incredible
👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Jon Anderson also sounds great and he’s a bit older.
Pat Benatar still sounds great. Amy Lee too. Lzzy Hale
Ann's sounding great. What a powerhouse. And Nancy doesn't miss a beat. So much energy and she makes that guitar 🎸 sing, too. They are a national treasure. Glad they got back together for another tour ❤
When I was younger, if you could sing this song, you knew you were a real singer. She is the GOAT and a great influence for many.
I used to sing with their songs all the time, but damn, never got the high notes until I took vocal lessons. She is the GOAT for real.
I can sing it!!! Can belt the high F#’s!!!
I graduated hs in 1977. Heart was EVERYTHING. God bless you guys. Many mems. ❤️✨🌛
Me, too! We're the class that was sent from Heaven. We're the Class of '77!
I graduated in 77 too!! We played Heart's first album INTO THE GROUND!! 😊

Me:'79♡ Their music 🎶 a part of my being too❤
1977 myself and still rocking till I die
I was 5 years old in 77 and I still remember the first time I heard Barracuda on the radio. I think it was the "Ooh Barracuda" line that hooked me, but I've been a fan ever since. 80s/90s Heart was more mainstream but I still enjoyed that era as well.
This came up on my feed and I was like "Heart is doing what now?" I won't lie I wasn't expecting much when I clicked, then Ann just start belting out Barracuda, and my jaw dropped. Phenomenal as always, grew up with Heart and love them. This is amazing.
Anne’s voice is killer, singing 🎵 in the same key . That is amazing, they sound and look beautiful. ❤😊
Boy, people don't realize this song is from the 70s. And they still sound this good. My girls from Seattle can't wait to see them again.
We don't? Speak for yourself.
1977
I wouldn't hold my breathe since they fight constantly
Half a century later, legends!
How they still do this at age 70+ is beyond words. If I didn't know and you told me this was a performance from 1980 I would have believed it. Anne is truly amazing!!
You should see an optometrist, then get a hearing test.
Saw them in concert and it was unforgettable. Glad they are still doing their thing and rocking on.
They look and sound GREAT!! Love these ladies. Rock on!!
We need a dope ass Wilson sister biopic asap ❤
💯 right?!?
Supposedly there is one being made but it's been awhile since I heard anything about it.
They just cant find the right actors who possess the level of talent needed to mimic these iconic sisters
@@sidv192get the fat chick from pitch perfect to play Ann and get Emma Stone for Nancy.
@sidv192 you mean you don't want to see Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning reunite for it?
I've saw them live during their resurgence in the 80's and then again 20 some-odd yrs. later, and was blown away both times. Ann Wilson is fortunate to be one of those vocalists whose voice has remained remarkably unchanged over the years, and she's showing no signs of quitting any time soon.
Now listen here you young whippersnappers…this song is 47 years old now. Will anyone be listening to Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift or Beyoncé in 47 years? Know this…when you gaze upon these ladies and get rocked by them? You are gazing at and getting rocked by…LEGENDS! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s goooooooooo!

Wow! What a performance! They still got it.
They still got it!! Love and honor for them rocking and doing what they love for 50 years! And still making music and playing together love and honor always!! So special about them and their music!!
So cool and unusual to see older women play hard rock and still rocking like they do, I wish it was more common :)
Ann Wilson! Omfg- our Queen! ❤️🤘🏼👑🎶
We were kids together & now, just a few decades later, we are rockin women 💃 This Hart Loves Heart ❤️ Lifelong fan ❤️
The coolest Grandma's ever😊
Still one of the greatest rock vocals of all time.
they are playin in the ORIGINAL key (E minor)
👏
Yes, which is why Ann has to talk-sing through the high notes. I wish she'd give in and take the key down so she could wail again instead of talk singing.
OMG!
@@chrisacer6605fact. It was awful to hear her reduced to this.
@@chrisacer6605Ever think they dropped the tuning due to her being unable to hit the high notes anymore?

GOOSEBUMPS!!! Going to see them in Grand Rapids MI. I've seen them so many times in concert, I've lost count. Taking my 16 year old niece this time. It'll be her first concert.
Okay I am honestly impressed!! Her voice really hasn’t changed at all!!
She still sounds like Ann but her voice has definitely changed. Her high range isn't there -- she talk sings all the high notes. She's human and like everyone else her voice is deeper now. She still had all her range until 2017, and since then she's struggled more. Her lower range, however, is probably the strongest it's ever been now. She just doesn't have that wail anymore like in the old days.
@@chrisacer6605that’s the key to a great singer. She adapted and you can barely tell.
Delusional.
Shes lost her high tenor notes. Shes a bit pitchy abd struggling to get the right amount of breath. She is an older lady now so to be expected. Age takes away a singers voice. Very few singers from 70s and 80s bands can hit their high range nowadays. Glenn Hughes can. Robin Zander can.
Having to sit through a few minutes of Fallon to see them was agonizing but well worth the torture. Amazing rockers!
they have this thing called a mute button
