As fans, we couldn't even make eye contact with Ann or Nancy....no opportunity for questions or brief comments to thank them for being themselves, and how wonderful many people have felt for hearing their sound and instruments. Even the autographed posters they handed-out were pre-signed. I paced the floor the day before, wondering how it would be to meet them. There was a couple hours dedicated to this offer, and only about 20-25 total fans that bought this package, so time could have been dedicated to something pretty special. Exactly, the Wilson sisters get much deserved credit, but this line-up was by far, the best. Roger Fisher and the rest of the band, including the drummer all made these early songs spectacular. Nothing they did after this, was as good as Crazy On You, Barracuda & Magic Man. All around, fantastic group.

"I was a willow last night in my dream, I bent down over a clear running stream....." young musicians this is how you write lyrics, so simple but so powerful. Ann Wilson was smoking HOT back then.
16 years old in 1972 and I was desperately in love with Nancy and Ann and/or they were both so beautiful and such talent and their voice just poured out like fresh cream it was lovely to listen to the band who was tight and the group together was one of my faves
People who gave this awesome band a thumbs down don’t understand how difficult it was for this group to set the bar for other female singers out there.
ever heard of famous female singers before 70's when this band formed? Like Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Cher? Say "NO" to this modern day stupid oppression olympics
I'd say it's more just down to them having poor taste. Let them suffer in their miserable existence of hating awesome music, the rest of us will keep on jammin'.
This is a fantastic pop music song. Well played. Well written. Well sung. Well produced. Just brilliant even decades later. The beauty of how wonderful music can be. Bravo Ann, Nancy and Heart!
My girlfriend around this time (77) was named Ann, so she became 'Dreamboat Annie'. And she loved this song. If she mentioned it, I knew I was going to get lucky. Things were so simple back then. Heart🌭 was so good that even rockheaded guys like me, who were Aerosmith fans, liked them.
What is usually lost in Ann's spectacular vocals is the amazing musicianship on all instruments, & the incretible tightness of the band --in every one of the many performances of this song from the original lineup I've seen-
Gosh, Ann Wilson is so young and beautiful with a voice to match, here. She's apparently ageless after watching her Led Zep honor. Nancy, beautiful as well, and still rippin' the acoustic. This group was nothing short of amazing - those drums...sooo tight. And Roger Fisher? Total Riffmeister - came up with the riff for Barracuda; so simple, yet badass. Like "Smoke On The Water," by Deep Purple, It's the riff every beginner guitarist MUST learn first. I know it was for me. Two of the first women to start breaking down the gender-bias of rock n roll. Put the men in the back, and keep them there.
I was born in 1972. As a kid I grew up listening to lots of music, and remember this song very well. It stuck with me until this day. Such a nice, powerful song!
Just saw them live May 2024, 2 nights ago. During this song -my friend was crying it was so good!! They are touring this summer and if you can - go see them! So talented.

Nancy is STILL freakin’ hot.. absolutely stunning, at nearly 70!

Agree! We all can’t look 23 forever. But that 1% that still does…your gifted and be sure to thank god everyday.
Got a woody just watchin the vid
Her and Nancy, and they still both are ;)
Ann Wilson-the Mother of ALL rock vocalists…
I can't think of a better one.
In the 80's Ann Wilson made me want to be Rock Star. Her voice is timeless.
Made me want to be a groupie. I would have been 19 when this performance happened.
God I love this song. The guitar work, the intro, the drumming, the bass licks, the organ work and the unbelievable singing. Perfect!
Ann's eyes are hypnotizing.
Pure lust
16 years old in 1972 and I was desperately in love with Nancy and Ann and/or they were both so beautiful and such talent and their voice just poured out like fresh cream it was lovely to listen to the band who was tight and the group together was one of my faves
melt you away with such power and both ladies drop-dead gorgeous
I love watching how she sing and her face and eyes and confidence charismatic 😻
I could watch her sing all day. Her face is just mesmerizing when she sings. An absolutely gorgeous woman.
So clever the way Nancy finishes Ann's note at 1:02 so Ann can mix her next vocal over what sounds like her own voice.
Nice catch!
The magic of mixing and lip syncing
it's lip synced
Never gets old! Masterful!!! Needs more recognition as women who helped define Rock!!
They DEFINITELY
PAID THEIR DUES!
I'd say it's more just down to them having poor taste. Let them suffer in their miserable existence of hating awesome music, the rest of us will keep on jammin'.
Sweet AF
Are Aretha franklin, Janis Joplin The Andrew sisters The supremes, Chordettes and the other females groups a joke to you?
I would like to take a time machine and watch all these amazing 70's and 80's band live
This is a fantastic pop music song. Well played. Well written. Well sung. Well produced. Just brilliant even decades later. The beauty of how wonderful music can be. Bravo Ann, Nancy and Heart!
Roger Fisher's guitar work made this one of the all time great rock songs.
best female voice in rock!
best in all of music period
what about grace slick and joplin?
and Pat Benatar?
Stevie nicks
Alison Krauss for all popular music. Nancy Wilson for rock for sure.
What is usually lost in Ann's spectacular vocals is the amazing musicianship on all instruments, & the incretible tightness of the band --in every one of the many performances of this song from the original lineup I've seen-
I love the way Nancy is playing her guitar. Just amazing sisters.
Absolutely gorgeous, Ann and Nancy. I love this song.
Led Zeppelin honor was tremendous
I saw Heart twice as a teen and in my 20's..😂❤,man i loved em then & still love em,I know i. 'I ALWAYS WILL'!!! 😂😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When she hits the big notes still brings chills
yeah she does !
Anne has such a powerful voice... doesn't hurt that she's beautiful too!
I was born in 1972. As a kid I grew up listening to lots of music, and remember this song very well. It stuck with me until this day. Such a nice, powerful song!
Ann and Nancy Wilson are the undisputed Queens of rock and roll!
Yes and they are so pretty as well
Tic TOC! Tic TOC!
The writing in this song is very underrated, beautiful as poetry.
Just saw them live May 2024, 2 nights ago. During this song -my friend was crying it was so good!! They are touring this summer and if you can - go see them! So talented.
My god her voice is stunning.
Right out the gate this band was smoking hot! Thank you Heart!
They were even smoking hot when they performed at my high school in 1976
Hearing this song on full volume can cause a person to get elevated. It literally lifts your sprit higher.
It's fun to watch the various levels of enthusiasm the players put into mime-playing their instruments.
Ann and Nancy still get my blood flowing like they did in the 70s. They are awesome ladies.
Incredible vocals.
Can u hear the vocal range incredible, without effort
Most underrated band of all time. Absolutely mind blowing. Perfection.
Love that old mic. Looks like Annie is singing into a curling iron.
Growing up I sang into my hairbrush...never this good though
Lololol. As a chic who digs music... You grab WHATEVER is near and resembles a mic 😉
it's a lightsaber; more marketing
She would make the curling iron sound good. What a voice!!!!!!
@amrogers4 I see what you did there.
The Wilson Sisters are brilliant, l have been following them since the late 60s ! Heart without a doubt the best rock band ever
Without a doubt the prettiest woman in rock n roll. Now I remember why I was in love with her in the 70s and 80s
Yeah, me too. sigh...
Another one of the so many great rock bands I remember so well in the 1970's in my late teens. What a great time to have been a youth and like anyone my age (64) we would give anything to go back !
Ann is so gorgeous here. The highlights are her eyes first finding the camera at 0:20, its like a shock of electricity, and someone finally telling her to smile at 1:25. Just awesome moments.
So glad I got to see them in their prime back in the 70's. Saw them again a few years ago and they still rock! Ann has the best female rock voice in history. Always had a crush on Nancy.
The most beautiful sisters of Rock! I seen heart 4 times in concert, once so close I could smell them which caused me to have a raging woody! I am sure its easy to assume my girlfriend loved it when I listened to Heart and I thought about that show! She became Ann and Nancy at the same time, holy cow!
Wow she is as beautiful as I imagined her to be when I first heard her voice. This is like one of the best live performance I’ve ever seen through TH-cam of course. Great music!
So good❤
Heart actually came and performed at my high school when this came out. It was my first rock concert. I loved it!
_I wanna cry? I wanna cry listing to your voice, the best female lead rock singer of all time! IMHO!_ 😁
That song is still fresh and the Wilson sisters are still "Wow"!
