They really bought out the psychopaths for this 😂
All time classic. The way Keenan's eyes narrow when he spots Beavis just sets the tone
Can't believe Gosling played it straight. Very cool.
@@mattjewett4473part of the time. He was still smiling and cracking up a few times
Yes to me that’s just about as funny as the whole skit. this is one of the funniest things. SNL has done the last 20 years.

This was the best break in years.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂
I think I’ve watched this like 100 times and it never stops being funny. One of the funniest things to me is when Keenan narrows his eyes when he sees Beavis

You ain't wrong! That was bloody hilarious! 😂The way he just narrows his eyes! Bloody funny af ! haha x
All the background actors deserve honorary emmys for not breaking up.
I was thinking the same thing! 💯I’ve watched this so many times and I’m amazed by how awesome the background actors are.🤩
I JUST posted that lol (didn’t see this)
I can’t believe they didn’t lose it lol
I've watched this dozens of times. There are only two background actors that >slightly< break up......and I do mean slightly. Kuddos to them.
they are ai . look closely lol
They are.
I love that the premise is an MIT professor explaining Beavis and Butthead.
This is an under rated comment right here!
time!??? 😂
When it eat that sugar he become Cornholio! LOL
Especially cornholio 😂😂😂
Current MIT professors are some of the dumbest people currently on the planet, though.
Although not the star of this sketch, Keenan continues to prove why he has been on SNL so long. Keenan can make a simple face, or a squint of the eye that has real comedic value. I hope he sticks around for season 50
Keenan is a genius, I remember him from All That on Nickelodeon when I was a kid. He can get a laugh with a lift of an eyebrow.
He is incredibly good
Agreed!!! The squint is priceless!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm officially declaring this to be among my top 5 SNL moments of all time. Absolutely hilarious! Heidi's reaction to Butt-Head has me in tears each time I watch it.
What other skits are your top ten? Mine are the Cheeseburger skits with John Belushi, What the hell is that with Steve Martian and Bill Murray, the Cowbell skit, this one and The Van down by the river.
Joe Montana as Sincere Guy Stu

"Well, isnt that special..."
Wtf? I barely expressed a smile. The makeup looks great, but it was a very lazy skit.
the fact that both are extremely polite and interested in AI kills me
it was them looking around unaware they were being referenced

I thought she was Maya Rudolph for a second
I wonder if the dress rehearsal had different makeup
They 100% do full dress rehearsals, but I like her reaction.
She couldn't handle it. 😂😂😂
Yeah, that was Ryan-level unprofessionalism.
That poor woman was fighting for her life every time she looked over her shoulder.😂🤣
Breaking character is part of the act even chloe got into it. Multiple professional actors losing it that are use to acting
Breaking character has been a staple, part of the act of snl since even before chris farley and adam sandler. It works

This is hands down the hardest I've laughed at any bit in this show's history. Heidi's meltdown is as priceless as it was genuine.

@@terrellp22 meltdown into a laughing fit, was a figure of speech.
4:55 The snort laugh at this time stamp (that even makes Ryan Gosling turn and acknowledge said snort) is genuine comedic gold. This is perhaps my favorite re-watchable SNL skit of all time ♥
When Heidi looked over her shoulder and insta-broke was the best part of the sketch.
That's the point where I started laughing out loud.🤣
That may have outdone Rachel Dratch's "Debbie Downer" break. Well done--and understandable--Heidi! SNL make-up artist deserves an Emmy for their work on this sketch. Instant classic!
Mikey Day's inner monologue when Heidi turned around and lost it laughing: "COME to Butthead! uh Ha ha huh, Uh huu ha HUH!, This is COOL!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣 This was fantastic!!! I can't blame them! Hilarious! 🤌
Don’t mean to hate, but it had opposite effect for me. It was like an amateur high school level performance.. ruined the sense of irony for me.
In my 25+ years of watching SNL I don’t think I’ve ever seen a solo actor break so hard and as long as Heidi.
Which means so much more since Heidi is a master of NOT breaking.
Bill Harder in the wheelchair sketch comes to mind. But this might top that.
Larry David broke so much in a skit, you couldn't hear what he was saying and he just powered through it, laughing so much.
all scripted. She doesn't even know who B&B are/was.
@@mjp96oh do shut up
Heidi breaking made this skit one of the best I've seen in awhile!
Seriously, I haven't laughed this hard at an SNL skit since Harry Carey and Jeff Goldblum 🤣🤣
the fact that everyone is sleeping on the king of the hill reference at the end is crazy.
Classic!! All they needed now is Bob's Burgers..
Respect to Kenan Thompson for holding the sketch together. Serious pro there, been doing this sketch comedy stuff on live TV since he was in freaking middle school
He said he had totally lost it in the dress rehearsal and didn't think he was going to be able to hold it together when live, but he did.
I’ve known Kenan since the first season of “All That”; literally part of my childhood even though he is around my age lol. He has always been able to pull through. However, during the “I put the screw in the tuna!” from Kenan and Kel?! He was fighting for his life lol!
Agreed !!!!! We LOVE Kenan. My boyfriend is the bald man behind him. We can vouch that he's also such a nice guy.
Kenan really has gotten to be top tier SNL talent. He's the backbone of the cast.
@@BrookeHooverhow did the background people not laugh lol
Keenan Thompson's eye squint in the beginning is incredibly underrated
in what sense? I don't think people are not noticing it lol
I get what you’re saying. Great part of the skit.
You are exactly correct
Everything he does is underrated.
He does a ton of nuanced things that add to sketches. Just the inflections in his voice can change an entire skit.
Kenans first reaction when he squints his eyes has me rolling everytime 😂😂😂
After all this years, "Debbie Downer goes to Disney World" has a solid contender for best breaking-character moment in SNL.
Agreed. lmfao they were dying. I hear they didnt know the camera would zoom in on Debbie and play those sound effects and that broke them all lol.
I just thought about that and mentioned that in a comment! Jimmy Kimmel almost lost it!
I was in the audience that night. When Heidi breaks after seeing Mikey’s face, Ryan Gosling and Chloe Fineman were absolutely losing it off-camera. At one point, Gosling buried his face in his hands and rocked back and forth in his chair.
Thank you for sharing your experience!! I bet it was awesome!
Eye witness in the house! 😂 you were there for a legendary moment!❤
Lucky you!
Thanks for this perspective! 👍🏻
Then everybody clapped, right?
Heidi holding her hand up to "shield" herself has me crying
Her fingers bending backwards are impressive.
When she kept putting her hand up I kept expecting the Butt-Head dude to High-Five her. XD
Have seen this 50 times and still laughing ❤
...and i'm watching this again
honestly the costume and makeup people deserve so much credit for this.
I concur. Makeup department rocked B&B!
Ryan gosling looking around was priceless. He pulled that off perfect
He does “genuine” really well

A beautiful SNL moment of genuine laughter, Heidi feeling what she makes us feel every week! Thank you Heidi!
Heidi never breaks, and to see her break THIS HARD was hilarious.
i would broke so hard too
I wonder if that was the intention.
@@KalebKing88 most likely it was. Since Heidi never breaks - producers probably thought "during rehearsals there will be no make up, let's see if she can handle this".

How Kenan Thompson keeps a straight face while other cast members are cracking up is a miracle. And the Extras kept complete composure was unreal
Kenan is an anchor, bro. Dude has arguably the most experience with sketch comedy in the world. Nearly his whole life. He’s a pro.
The way he peered at Beavis at first.😄
@@esseen100Yeah his initial squint really does it for me.
Kenan is epic as the straight man in any roles he's done.
Could say he was aaall that
The way she broke and started laughing when she saw the Butthead character in the audience is a big reason why this is now one of my favorite SNL skits of all time. I've already watched it several times, and as if it wasn't already funny enough...the description he gives her of the gentleman, and then the way it gets her going once she sees him makes me laugh so much harder every time I see it. That eye squint from kenan in the beginning of the skit is the most underrated part of the whole thing. Absolutely hilarious
That's the first thing that really stood out to me on my second viewing. Perfect comedic timing.
It was pretty heroic, that eye squint from Kenan!
I can't beleive Kenan didn't break.

He was the only one able to keep it together. I was impressed lol

Kenan uses his eyes and mouth expressions really well in his comedy. His Deion Sanders last year was absolutely amazing because of his facial control
The squint Keenan gave toward "Beavis" at the beginning of the sketch was perfect. SO funny! I've never seen Heidi break like that.
And of course, when they break is invariably the highpoint of a show
I have watched this a couple of dozen times and crack up everytime.
