For the missing textures, if you open the texture and scroll down to the "usage" tab and enable the "used with skeletal mesh" setting, it should fix the issue. I assume every one of those should be enabled because hair textures wont show unless you enable another setting that's further down. I'm surprised it's not fixed yet lmao
do you know why my npc's never complete the full path? I'm not sure if its set up wrong or if there's a bug, but my npc is not following the path properly or it just randomly stops half way and glitches out
You're terrain or where they are walking might be an issue, go into island settings -> debug mode and do navigation and turn that on, and you may need to go into a live session to see it. It will enable the nav mesh, or where the A.I can walk etc. It should show you where A.I can path find to or not. If it's red it means they can't so try to replace the ground where they are with something else etc.
i think i turned that on within the ai patrol device. its sometimes red in random spots in the middle in some sesssions and sometimes its not. is it the terrain itself or is it the sidewalks i placed down?
Guards have a lot more events to use, like on alert, on detected, etc. But NPC devices and custom definitions/verse behavior are a lot more customizable for bosses, like custom retargeted models. health, etc I'd use an NPC device, but it's up to you and what you want to make.

The problem with that is that something like the guard device has many different functions like on spotted, on alerted, on player eliminated, on eliminated, etc. But the NPC spawner right now only has 2 which is on spawned and on eliminated. It's limited on what you can detect right now through functions but you may be able to do something in the verse behaviour and trigger a trigger that way, I don't really know.

and regarding the textures on characters, i found a solution. if you choose any other material in the box, it will work. so only if make a copy of any other material and replace it with yours will work.
Oh so they allow people in uefn to have dbno guards but not people in creative and in fact patched up our only way of having dbno guards come on epic why 😠
They updated materials go into the material and search skeletal in the detail, check using on skeletal option. Gotta due the same for niagras

Whatever guards can use, the custom NPC can do. You might be able to use the sword but I'm not sure.

From what I know, I don't think so. You can only do it on guards, wildlife and custom Verse NPCs with NPC spawner.

You can do wildlife but right now I'm still learning how to do that. You could try to do a custom creature onto a guard.
