    Hello everyone,
    Check out what the cat dragged in. Another tutorial from our very own Aysel!
    Yes! Today we're learning how to draw some cute kitties in vectors. Aysel kicks off the tutorial with some basic kitty anatomy. If you wanna geek out on some shape theory, definitely check that part out! If not, just skip to the good goods at min 3:08.
    Vectors might look a little intimidating, fear not, we'll be walking you through every step.
    If you want to get a head start, then download Aysel's .vectornator illustration here with the sketch, color palette, and basic shapes that will guide you in your process:

    Great tutorial. In future videos I would really love to see a close up of your hands and what tools you are changing between. Sometimes you are working so quickly it’s difficult to see. Thank you. 😊

    Can you pls explain why you used shapes in the first instance? As they don’t appear to be used in the final drawings?

      Shapes are to help keep the anatomy in mind.
      So that you don't stray too much from a more uniform body.
      Not all artists need it but its always helpful to have a boundary assist that is a different color.

    How do it happened that templates are in vertical? I wanted to open but its all horizontal there :/ how to change it?

    • @linearityhq
      @linearityhq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While selecting your template, you can find the option to choose between portrait or landscape orientation at the top of the dialogue box, next to the search bar 😊

    And, is it possible to change import source file for cat drawing?

    • @linearityhq
      @linearityhq  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course, you can import any source file you'd like as long as it is in a supported format: www.vectornator.io/learn/import

      @@linearityhq thank you, very helpful! Surprisingly I don't see options to add my sketch from the source - like u did in your video (I have no "manage" button to choose another folders). But I could find my sketch from main menu (import tab) , as described in the link you sent me.
