I think this was one of our favourite parts of the trip! Hatay and Antakya were our favourite places and this brought back so many good memories! I later found out that the spicy pizza thing is called Hatay Pepper bread 😋 So loved re-living this trip with you 💕 Sending so much love. Turkey misses you! (and we do!) xxxx

Saw you on Australian breakfast TV the other day. Considering you had never vlogged before your video's are top rate in quality. have loved your vids from Turkey, I know you have been a bit stuck there because of the virus of unknown origin however your videos of Turkey have inspired me and my wife to go to Turkey in October (all things being OK with this haywire pandemic). Haven't been in Turkey since 1986 and will be worth the long trip from Melbourne even with all the extra health precautions. Stuck WFH in the back room since March 2020 has been a bit much. You haven't seen the real view. Samandag beach and Titus tunnels right next to it. Also, the long bazaar in the center of Antakya and the historical houses around it. Museum hotel and mosaic museum. All of them are much more beautiful than the Harbiye and Musa tree. I have been living in Antakya for exactly 3 years and I fell in love with the city. Also nearby, Iskenderun and Erzin are worth seeing.

So pleased we've found you guys on here. We are literally putting our 6 bed house up for sale tomorrow and planning to do exactly the same! We are both 45 years old, I'm an MD of a national business and Lianne works in a school. We have Jo idea what to do and have never had a motorhome or caravan before, but life's to short, not to find out! Hi me and my wife loving watching your videos. This video was amazing. I am from hatay but live in England with my British wife. We go to hatay every year to visit my family. It was nice to see my home town being talked about in such a nice way. Me and my children love going to all the places in hatay. If you have time you should visit Samandag beach they have fantastic fish sandwiches. If you do visit my sister has a small shoe stall on the side of the road. She would love to welcome you. You can also bike ride along the mountain and there is parasailing. Take care iyi gezmeler.
Mary was scaring about the lightening but you are in Faraday Cage, don2 worry :) For the tire chanind, you have to keep with you a meter long steel pipe to add the wrench. Because the mechanics are tightening too much by compressed air wrench-gun. If you get trouble in the deserted place you can not loos the screws :) Thanks. Have a safe trip.

I really appreciate your attitude towards new cultures and people 😊 As an true Antakian I just have to say that you unfortunately missed some great hidden gems there. İt’s the capital of Mezes and we even have an Unesco Restaurant, where the variety of Antakya’s food and pastry is introduced. Antep is also really nice, but Antakya is definitely the place to eat 😄

Hi Les - yes you are right - ours was knackered too we have a duvaley topper which we put on top of our old mattress which was great ! But we managed to get one made in Turkey (there is a video of when it was delivered to us) It was the most wonderful addition ever!! And now we have both the Duvalay and the new mattress and it is like sleeping on clouds !! Marianne ☁🐑

Hi David - the date of filming is in the description of the video - but generally we are fairly hardcore - living in a van you get used to acclimatising to the weathers around you and only put your coat on when it freezes LOL !!
