Awesome! Thanks for putting this video up. Just fixed a similar issue on the front seat of my 2008 C350 in no time. Motor was loose, and the spring driving the rail was dislodged. Put it back together, new tie wrap around it, done! The referral to the T30 was sublime, saved a lot of time! You can actually leave the wiring connected, there is enough slack to pull the back end of the bottom seat out and put it upright so you can access the area.
Thanks to your (this) video, I was able to fix my family member's seat that wasn't sliding on one side. Thanks a bunch! In all, it only took about 15 minutes total to fix after viewing your (this) video.
Very timely video. This just happened to my parents car when the seat was all the way forward. Made the whole seat useless. This video showed exactly how to repair the issue and get that seat operational again. Thanks!
I just replaced the bottom and upper seat covers on my 2014 C250 COUPE. Bottom just like the video . Top one requires neckpro headrest removal which on the 250 COUPE is unique not like on the sedan . Key trick is to raise the headrest fully before removing the seat from the car , unclip the 3 headrest post clips and power wire beneath post then can yank it free of the black clip on the toothed motor arm. The OEM covers and handle were almost $900 at the stealership but the final install looks factory new. Did a couple you tube videos but they are hard to find . The six white clips on the back of the upper are difficult to reattach so used 3/0 saltwater fishing barrel swivels clipped into them to ease pulling them through the seat foam to the long wire across the back of the seat . Have to remove the hard back shell but not the lower side covers and loosen the airbag to get to the side clips of the upper seat cover. Auto trim tool pops all the plastic tabs around the perimeter out. A pencil type soldering iron makes clean holes in the cover backside tube fabric to reattach the 6 white clips and at the bottom to allow access to the two final cover torx screws at bottom . Will get 3 airbag codes even with battery disco so have a tool to clear them or car will disable after 1-2 starts .
How Oscar, I gotta questions bout the clk 320 soft top. I got the manual raising and lowering of the top easy, but is there a way to manually raise and lower the back headrest rollbar?
I just fixed mine on a E-350. One of my elderly mothers pee pads was stuffed under the back of the seat and there must be a safety switch that prevents the seat from moving if somebody's foot is under the seat! I removed the pad and the seat immediately started working again! It is this type of thing that costs people dearly! MANY mechanics would have claimed to have made a serious repair when all they did was remove an object from under the seat! I worked for a repair shop that WOULD HAVE!
Boss, thank you for the video! Do you know the part #s of the small plastic "cams" (there are 2 of them, 1 on each side) next to the horizontal (front/back) seat motor? It turns out one of them on my seats broke.
Hi Oscar, I have the same problem on my W212. I changed the switch on the side, I checked the fuses but nothing helped. I hope my problem will be as easy as you described in the video. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
That flimsy mount got bent on my wife's 350GLK driver seat and bending it back did not help. it was too tweaked. $2,000 at the non-dealer shop. Cant imagine how much the dealer wants. There was an after-market part made of more solid aluminum that many said worked great. Unfortunately, that part is nowhere to be found anymore. Just 2 days ago, my e350 passenger seat suffered the same issue making it unusable. If anyone knows how I can find that aftermarket part, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks for the good help... I am a non-mechanic and took a video (th-cam.com/video/fuhsx3UX-xg/w-d-xo.html) of the procedure with more details. Sorry for the video quality... the process should be clear though.

Wow I just reviewed this video and it appears that a bunch of us needed this fix, glad it helped
Great video. Do you know the name of the rod, cable,or cam on the short side that goes into the motor? Mine is broke on the shorter side.

hi sorry just noticed your question, my bad. however thankfully I did not need any parts so I don't have P/Ns

so was it...
@@Realtoroscarjimenez I replaced the fuse. Because of the heated seat is broken, it blew the fuse for the seat.
Thanks mate!
hope it worked for you
That 2 small plugs goes together at the beginning of the video. How to pull it out. I don't want to break it. Is very tight
sorry just saw this, it was tough but had to do it super careful, I think manufacturers do it on purpose
Thank you

Thanks a lot
