We only made it to the bitter end of the movie, before the pastor finally gave up and asked if we wanted to switch to something else, to a resounding "yes". Switched to Horton Hears a Who....it was Citizen Kane in comparison.
That Speed Racer scene was what broke me. It truly, genuinely, honestly broke me with how unfunny it was, especially with Speed Racer being my favorite movie. Dear God I forgot that I've watched baby genius before. As a child it wasn't that bad, but after I rediscovered it on a streaming app I don't like it one bit and I wonder how I managed to watch the entire film when I was younger.
Aren’t we all thankful and grateful the spoof film didn’t mention WALL-E… because we all dread to imagine the portrayal. Our trash compacting robot icon dodged a bullet.
Disaster traumatized me as a child, specifically the alvin and the chipmunks scene where they FEAST on Juno’s back, so since then I made sure to always sleep with my back to the wall so that the singing rodent trio didn’t consume my spine.
I remember seeing bits and pieces of this movie as a kid, forgot about it for years, and swore it was a fever dream I had all up until like three years back. I need to go watch it just to see if it really is _that_ bad.
I watched this movie as a kid easily 50 times and then completely forced it out of my memories. Thank you for bringing me back to this dark, dark place George.
Age of Ultron is not that bad. Yes it doesn't come close to some of the other marvel masterpieces but the movie was merely a stepping stone for better characters and character development. So it was needed
@@errortryagainlater4240 Well, yeah. I mean I guess you have a point. They focused so much on setting stuff up that it kinda did poorly on writing, etc the movie is still very important though, and projects like WandaVision def made it better
Memeulous actually making solid points on why this movie is bad and talking about stuff like plot and pacing is super weird to me. I love movie analyses like this but it's just strange coming from George. I guess because he's watching it alone and not with friends and not drinking this time idk. Good vid George.
I'm not familiar with this youtuber but I don't see the point of making a serious review like this on this type of movie anyways. He made every "safe" point possible. He even felt the need to acknowledge beforehand that we would judge him for almost laughing at one of the jokes in the movie like how much of a sheep can you be. I'm 22 and some random stuff in the movie did make me laugh, people gotta stop caring about how "proper" they're sense of humour SHOULD be.
Guys, don't hate these movies too much. At the end of the day, good or bad, these films provided employment to various asst. directors, gaffers, stunt people, etc... (Even at the expense of their sanity, but, whatever...)
I remember watching it at sleep over in middle school. We all thought it was hilarious. Yes it’s bad, but the movie is product of its time and imo funny as hell.
What’s even more ironic is They had Will in that Jumper Parody. And the movie itself started Hayden Christian who played Anakin in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy.
I remember watching this movie and loving the "unrated" song at the end. Really its just a lot of people saying "fuckin" a bunch which to 14 year old me was hilarious
The worst thing is, these guys actually didn't even write Scary Movie. The Wayans guys wrote the original film, but because Friedberg and Seltzer (the writers behind this) were developing a Scream parody for the studio anyway, they were credited for contractual reasons despite having nothing to do with the final product.
"Dr. Phil comes across as a relatively nice man..." Dr. Phil has a storied history of overseeing reality shows and such that destroy peoples' families, finances and homes for his exploitative profit.
At a surface level glance, he seems nice, but yeah, there's some serious evidence that he's basically just a con artist who calls himself a doctor despite losing his license years ago, and that's not even getting the youth camp he's promoting that's rife with child abuse and neglect.
I actually asked Matt Lanter about what it was like starring in the worst movie ever made. His response was to laugh and talk about how fun it was actually making the movie. Apparently everyone was just having a blast and goofing off on set. So I guess at least some people have fond memories of this film.

Age of Ultron was kidna good according to me. I didn't like the relationship between Bruce and Nat and I didn't like that they killed off Pietro, but Wandas entrance to the MCU was great and Vision was also introduced in a good way.
It certainly *exists.* That's honestly the most I can say about it tbh, it wasn't BAD but it was just "meh."

Switched to Horton Hears a Who....it was Citizen Kane in comparison.
That Speed Racer scene was what broke me. It truly, genuinely, honestly broke me with how unfunny it was, especially with Speed Racer being my favorite movie. Like, I genuinely didn't know I could have this much rage for a film until I discovered... *this.*
The Michael Jackson joke at the end was just the fucking cherry on top. Fuck this movie.

Ah...Yes.
The pregnant mom getting killed by demonic Chipmunks wasn't what crossed the line
The brainless references after references back to back wasn't what crossed the line
The sheer dryness and obvious cash grab this movie is isn't what crossed the line

More like "Pop Culture References: The Fourth Movie" as all of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's movies are basically that.
'Disaster Movie' was the cinematic equivalent of being lobotomised with the crayon the person who wrote it used

Age of Ultron is not that bad. Yes it doesn't come close to some of the other marvel masterpieces but the movie was merely a stepping stone for better characters and character development. So it was needed
I honestly like it better than the original Avengers.

Yeah but the fact you can *tell* it was just a stepping stone isn't a good thing tho.
@@errortryagainlater4240 Well, yeah. I mean I guess you have a point. They focused so much on setting stuff up that it kinda did poorly on writing, etc the movie is still very important though, and projects like WandaVision def made it better

I watched it when I was young too and every single one of these references still triggers my fight or flight response.

I'm 22 and some random stuff in the movie did make me laugh, people gotta stop caring about how "proper" they're sense of humour SHOULD be.

what's funny its that the actor who plays the main character (will) is the guy who voices Anakin in the clone wars series and he is great at that
Even the best actor can only work with the material they are given. And editing is entirely out of actor’s hands.

"Dr. Phil comes across as a relatively nice man..."
Dr.
