- I almost broke my computer trying to compile these clips
(mike and roddy clip: woodpeckerfrommars on tumblr)
(sax lessons: YT: Filip)
some of these clips im not sure where i found them, so if you recognize them let me know :D
“I just like music as a genre”
I was going to point that one out myself
-“forget it”
"The worst thing about music is that people play it" ~ patton
The face of a crooner, the wit of a wiseass, the rap of a Beastie Boy. Just another reason the late-80's & early-90's were the best!
and a scream like no other
The bone structure of a leading man, the humor of a subversive comic, Mike Patton is so bold, original, outspoken and self -posessed, a true eccentric with heart, vision and soul.
@@icu3869 🙄 duh
“My friend Beethoven got me into music” Lol
Mike Patton shares a birthday with Mozart. Food for thought. 😉
Actually, reincarnationly, correct.
The man has no filter. And it’s great.😎
I saw Mike Patton one time at a Melvins documentary showing in San Francisco. He let me get a picture with him and seemed pretty chill.
I heard he's short af. Is that true?
@@aplus1080 probably 5'10"ish if I had to guess. Not a tall guy but wouldn't really describe him as short.
@@aplus1080 5’10 is perfect height for any person
@@glossolalia80 Yeah, I got him to sign one of the coasters that was propping up his keyboard at a Mr. Bungle show, and he was shorter than I'd expected, but not enough to be labelled a shortarse, y'know? I'd call it "comfortable height". Not so short; that I ( as a woman) felt like a behemoth around, but not so tall that I felt like a midget around. Either way, his talent makes him attractive enough that his height wouldn't really matter at the end of the day. He could be two fucking inches tall, and I'd still wanna have a conversation with him, because he's a fucking genius. I'll go ahead and agree with you though that 5"10 *IS* the perfect height 👍
@@aplus1080 No..he's about 5"10-11... Im 5"8 and he was taller than me.
thank you Mike Patton for existing !
He came to play with FNM at Monterrey Mexico, with the Sol Invictus Tour, and he had a baston, then his monitors or some shit were not working, and he threw the baston to the audience, cracking open the head of a guy, but he made it up he had the guy go into backstage and stuff, the guy was the happiest I`ve ever seen
Imagining Mike Patton beating somebody up is just not humanely possible
1:48 Plot twist. Many Groups was the name of the band.
"I like many groups" "I just like many groups as a genre" Hahaaa!
"I just like music as a genre".
Mike being Mike, doing what only Mike can do! Like Mike, if we could be like Mike!
……Also the Mike Patton mullet on full display at the VMA’s should be immortalized by monument and shrines
No joke, but i think he was trolling that way so it would be a statue to trolling
In the prank call, he sounds exactly like the postal dude lol
Such a fascinating and eccentric person...
Thank you and your hard working computer for these clips
Long hair young Mike steers his entire body with his shoulders
He has a stick up his arse
He’s like an alien bc all footage of him is in 1 mega pixel
03:31 Mike Patton was channeling Chuck Mosley. I always thought he could nail Mosely's relaxed surfer tone in his vocals.
I wish they could've collabed tbh
why is his cover of Pony the greatest thing ever?
Wubba wubba wubba
Legend.
"Read my lips"
Did you know that Mike Patton possess the widest vocal range of any known singer in popular music. With a range of 6 octaves
This is amazing. Mike is the god of vocals.
Yes! Also Cedric from the Mars Volta/At the drive in
Miriah Cary with 8
@@SUPERBURLBOYROY mariah has 5
@@gordoncrawford6300 Freddy mercury has 5 Mariah has 8
I had no idea that "Sax Lessons" prank call n Neil Hamburger's album was Mike Patton!
Wow him performing Pony 😍
LOL THE PRANK CALLS LOL
idk why but i kinda relate to him
Patton is crazy af!
5.36 Mike and Roddy in 97 on an Australian 24hr TV show called RAGE. They have the guests programming their fav music or clips. It's been around for Donkey's years as I remember watching it visiting age 10.✌🏼 And MP I believe was in Kanas C. when he almost strangled himself with the mic cord.
"Forget it..."
Eccentric punk with a weird sense of humor. LOVE IT! Explains his music
BEST VID EVA! Man who's compiled this is a genius!
I just love him😂
My Friend Beethoven got me in to music. Gotta use that one
Just now realized that his phone call at 2:08 is the intro to Super Balls by Insane Clown Posse.......🤯
Wow haha i didn't know that, that's actually pretty cool. I'm not an ICP fan but it's interesting nonetheless.
woo gosh ^_^!!!in japan
I just posted this as well lol. I thought it was Mike E Clark or someone doing it but yeah, that's wild. I wonder how they got ahold of that audio?
Only ever heard it on super balls. So as it startes here my eyes lit up.
Ohhhhhoooo Mike Patton, i The most extreme fan from Brasil. You keep on doing your music.LOVE from MONICA
Should do some iconic Roddy moments as well
LMAO I think Mike came out of the womb bored with the world and decided to troll everyone nonstop.
5:30 looks like John Mayer's evil twin 😂
He's a troll at heart❤
.....i've the dim feeling that he was and is a great commedian....
The prank call is also on the ICP
Song Super Balls
6:08 oh my
What's the name of that song?
It's their cover of i started a joke, original song by the bee gees
3:00 best moment
4:26 LOL poor John 😂😂
4:10 can anyone explain what's happening there. Was he actually hurt and passed out or just putting on an act.
Faith no more were touring with L7 and one night the L7 girls dressed up like the members of fnm and rushed the stage while they were playing. They then tackled Mike and drew on his face..😂
Which song is he performing at 4:50 till 5:25?, I somehow know it but can't find....
pony by ginuwine. You should hear my mom sing it.
MP looks just like a male version of Julie off of the old MTV Real World show, haha!
More like a male version of Alicia Silverstone in Clueless.
Where have the Good times Gone?
4:06 L7
The big dudes from stage
That sax lessons. I know I heard it somewhere before in another song I wanna say insane clown posse or something related to that I can't put my finger on it

Was the intro for the ICP track Superballs
Song at 4:06? I've listened to it, but can't remember its title :(
Be Aggressive
@@trvemephisto I can't believe Angel dust is one of my favourite albums and I didn't recognized this part! Thank you so much
Be aggreessive, with the girls band L7!!
Did Patton really beat up the drummer of tomahawk?
No, I think he was just fucking around.
Hahahahah poor John
Anyone able to help me out here? My daughter's father sent me this video while telling me what an evil toxic person I am DESERVANT of eternity in hell, I don't get the connection between this video and the subject of a father estranged from his daughter, no real relationship, he's called her horrific things and told her she'll never be pretty enough to be a model bc she got a small tattoo.
What does this video have to do with such a father cursing the mother who has always taken care of our daughter (18yrs now) through traumas unspeakable and bullying from her own father who would show up drunk for visitation if at all ???
What is the meaning of this video?
wait what?
Seems like a long winded compliment.
Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
He was drunk, he likes faith no more, and he tried finding a connection to his issues with you with this video... drunk people do stupid stuff
TU MI UNICO AMIGO, SOMS PATAS
I don't know why Mike got so mad at that interviewer. It sucked when Bill Martin left FNM. Good news was that he had a great career managing the Yankees.
Yogi Berra, Lou Pinella, Bucky Dent, Billy Martin, Dallas Green, Dick Houser, Bill Virdon, Billy Martin, Scott Marrow, Billy Martin.
Jim.. Jim Martin
No, actually Jim Martin managed the Yankees. Bill Martin was a badass guitar player though.
His jaw line is sexy
3:26 what show is this from?
Some early 89 for sure
6:20 what song is that
It's the Faith No More cover of "I started a Joke" :D
Awwww. .. look at Mike trying to be LPC
3:33 where's this from?
i cant find the actual video from thumbnail 😥
Wubba Wubba Wubba!

Pony by ginuwine
I threw my Keys,..
Who did he beat up?
Song at 4:50? 🙏🏻 I’m begging for the title
Haha it's his cover of Pony by Ginuwine
TrveMephisto thank you so much 😁
Mike kinda sounds like Jim Carrey
"I just like music as a genre..." / "Ess?" / "Forget it"😆
Also his version of "I Started A Joke" by Bee Gees towards the end of this video is amazing
Downtown Julie Brown
At 4 50 what song is he singing
What song is 4:50 to 5:26?

Does anyone know what is going on @ 4.04
L7 was messing around. If you search TH-cam they've got several videos of some footage they shot on tour in support of FnM
03:01 passenger holding a baby with a pacifier in it's mouth. Shameful #ParentOfTheYear #DarwinAwards Hope that kid survived his youth.
Do u know the difference between me and your Dad.LOL
Imagine if he asked, "Do you know what your dad and I have in common?"
hi mephi

Pretentious? Yeah.
Mike is literally my friend but he doesn't know me 🥰🥰
2:24 prob get him cancelled now always lol
always mike Patton= faith no more, but not mr bungle
He was in Bungle before FNM.
Song at 3:25?
The Crab Song
Lol is that easy by the commodores
Sure is - Faith No More did a great cover of this. Their 'I started a joke' Beejee's cover and Ozzy 'War Pigs' cover are also great.
@@NZWozza *Bee Gees
War Pigs was Sabbath, not an Ozzy solo song.
What is wrong with Mike Patton just asking
Assuming his parents didn't give him the attention he feels he deserved.
@@aplus1080 same
@@aplus1080 There's nothing wrong with him, he's just individual unlike the crap you find in mainstream pop/right-wing politics and the church.
@@Hellwyck yes he's such an individual. Like any other 12 year old white kid who desperately needs the world to look at him.
Now mike patton is iconic? is he a legend and criminally underrated too?
He's pretty fuckin good, I'll say that much
@@planet_p1ss_69 never said he wasn't but do you know what Iconic means? The guy had 1 hit song, thats iconic? is he a legend? of all time and in rock History hahahahahaha
@Lachlan Crean right since when was the music about what songs do better, i wish i had heard of them sooner
@@besteverepicmillennial5927 who fucking cares about hit songs lmfao

Lmao Anthony Klitoris
@@Raitor33 lol
@@Raitor33 Lol Gets easily triggered they say
Wtf goin on at 57 seconds bro
That is exactly what I want to know aaa
I heard somewhere that patton used to purposely fart during interviews, and also used to publicly poop his pants and walk around with it, because he thought it was funny that other people had to smell it!😂
