It's funny because that line goes right up there with, "Somehow the Night King was destroyed," and, "For some reason the Night King wants Bran," and, that old gem from the absolute start of the series... "Somehow the Night King returned."

Plot idea: Aegon invades. Turns out baby Aegon just had dark hair as a baby. It lightened up to blond when he got older, and conveniently he looks just like Jon. That way Kit can play both roles AND we get to reuse the Viserys wig.
I can't wait for the cliffhanger ending of snow season 1, when Gendry runs from the stormlands straight to Jons camp outside the wall to deliver a final message: "The nightking is back... and this time, it's personal."
Some ideas that could be implemented to "the pitch": -Jon finds a baby White Walker and decides to protect it against the wishes of everyone else. This could be "the kid" that was mentioned -Drogon does appear and takes up most of the budget so they still don't show Ghost a lot -(Mis)Quoting Ned a bunch -They go to Meereen and meet Daario as if anyone asked for that -A big legacy cameo but they couldn't get the actor back to film so its a behind-the-head shot with the voice overdubbed in post -Loosely adapting other GRRM IPs with the established characters of the new series

I think you missed an important factor in why Dragon Demands hated the James Hibberd softball questions, its because at the end he would go "Oops, sorry, I forgot to look at my watch! In the far North, Jon finds a seed ship of the Ecological Engineering Corp. Now armed with ancient technology, can Jon defeat zombie Ramsey, kick ass and get the girl? Starring Jon, Ygritte's clone, Tormand and a wisecracking Hrangan played by Jack Black.
I think Tyrion meeting Dany will have a massive impact on her, he's not in a good place and he's had some dark thoughts especially about penny. I think he'll be the devil on Danys shoulder.
I thought this too, the difference between book Tyrion & show Tyrion is huge. Infact book Tyrion would probably encourage Dany burning down Kings Landing
@@Staticjokes the GoT writers really had the audacity to act like daenerys was an insane hysterical woman who just wouldn't listen to the rational, saintly, innocent tyrion. i'll die mad about it lmao
My pitch: Jon finds a nuclear bunker beyond the wall with a scientist, Big Dickert, inside. Jon learns the truth about the world and the Long Night being a nuclear fallout, then tells Dickert about Bran and his powers. The scientist clones Jon, making a zombielike clone, and sends him on a mission. The scientist was evil and a telepath. He explains to Jon that he created the Night King and the White Walkers. Jon's clone being controlled by the scientist goes to King's Landing to kidnap King Bran, the Storyteller. Meanwhile, real Jon tries to escape, but gets assassinated by Big Dickert. Now Bran and Jon's clone go back to beyond the wall while Bran tries to use his warg power to break Jon's Clone mind control. Jon's clone barely can speak, which reminds Bran of Hodor. Bran starts to recover his humanity because he takes care of Jon's clone. When he reaches Big Dickert, Bran finds out that Jon was killed and wargs into Jon's Clone, making him kill Dickert. With Jon's Clone almost as hodor, Bran starts to study. After a lot of work, he creates a new species of powerful beings: The Black Walkers, which leads to a new HBO series called The Long
It doesn’t matter how confident Kit Harrington is in saving me from Lymphoma, because unfortunately he’s not a doctor. Prestons analogies are goated hahaha
He's also right that subconsciously, a bunch of people are seeing him as Azor Ahai. The image, the framing, the effect is there, one only circumvents it by realizing it's happening.
It’s probably half the reason I’ll watch these Westeros franchise shows. I’m sort of mad they even exist. Take the new fantastic beasts movie. Now that sucked. It was horrible. But JKR finished her books. So being a total sell out for bad movies is just the norm.
My awful outline for Season one of Snow: Season starts with John, Wildings and Night's Watch remnants sitting around wondering what to do with no wall. Bran "speaks" to John "Go North, winter is coming!" John and friends go north meeting small communities and learning about strange rumors. They find the place where the baby was turned and find an Other child. He joins the party. Season ends as the crew continues North getting colder and colder to find the "Heart of Winter": a mega weirwood tree. At the base, John finds 3 dragon eggs. Bran pops into John's head "John, no!" The tree speaks "John Snow." Fin.
Stephen Dillane just wasn't into the genre, and from what he said, the producers/directors never really told him what to do. Ste didn't understand what the character was meant to be doing.
What if the spinoff was a complete 180 from Game of Thrones and it was a $100 million single-cam sitcom filmed on a soundstage with a laugh track and no longterm stakes after the episodes are over. I'd actually respect them for completely ruining a show out of the gate by making it an icy version of The Big Bang Theory.
@@MrFirextinguisher Is this supposed to be an insult? Because if so, I said very plainly that I think this idea would be the greatest fuck up in the history of television and the greatest "fuck you" to the fandom possible.

Even if Kit is coming back to “save the ending” It can’t be saved it’s done finished and ruined!! I and many others can’t even watch previous seasons because of the travesty that is season 8
Yeah, making a show taking place _after_ the finale won't fix anything because it would just confirm the actions in S8 as canon and I'd rather have the last seasons redone in a better way instead of a sequel trying to fix errors that can't be fixed...
That’s the catch 22. The only way to fix the ending is to retcon and redo it and people hate that so it will have that stigma that will color people opinions even if it good, that first impression is still bad. The alternative is what we are seemingly getting, which is adding more on top of a bad foundation. You could build the most beautiful house but if the foundation is built in mud it will bring the house down. That metaphor is this show, it could objectively be fantastic but where it came from will always drag it down. Even if the show is good mind you, and I don’t think it’ll be good.
Kit "I love my wife and Ygritte is Jon Snow's true love" Harington? Kit "Jon's ending was sweet" Harington? Kit "you cheered Daenerys on for crucifying slavers and you knew this was coming" Harington? Yeah that sounds like our saviour abdjshdhandksjdjs 😭😭😭
Going to run into that "George hasn't written anymore" wall a lot faster production wise. I think you're right, that'd be better, but dragging out 150 page books into 6 hours of television means that you can have guaranteed multi-month productions that will convince people to keep their Max subscriptions for at least three years! And you can delay the inevitable running out of material for as long as possible, which is clearly more important than making a good product.

Here is my outline for a Jon Snow S1 and S2: Jon figures out that he can warg corpses and can have them walk around, and that if he performs the kiss of life, he can resurrect someone who is dying. This makes a huge religious boom throughout the North (which now includes the wildlings). Jon is obsessed with the possibility of resurrecting Ygritte and he now tries to get Sam (who has been reading Qyburn's notes on making bodies) and Bran (who can use the weirwoods to move Ygritte's soul into the new body) to help him. Jon needs to learn more about his powers so he travels north and circumnavigates the globe and walks to Asshai to learn more about the red god. Eventually it turns out that the Night King has been living on in the weirwood net and that he is trying to turn Jon into a new vessel and that he will assist Jon in resurrecting Ygritte to be his Ice Queen. Shock reveal is that Jon goes along with it and gets his wife back. Now Sansa, Sam and Bran will have to raise an army to kill Jon.
@@gogozeppeli9267 It turns out that warging is actually done by using a form of magic called the Spin or Hamon. Once Sam finds out about the Golden Ratio, Bran tries to banish all the bad luck from Westeros and to steal all the good luck from Essos. Now Jon has to use the Spin to kill Bran

Honestly, the idea of someone travelling all across Essos and having to deal with Others more inspired by mummies than ice zombies sounds like a really cool and interesting concept. (in theory) *…BUT* 1. This isn’t what the show is gonna be and they’re gonna keep him in the North dealing with Wildling politics or something. 2. That’s not what Jon Snow should be doing. This could be where you can introduce some random OC sellsword, unconnected with the show but open for this world ripe for exploration… but they’re not gonna do that, if that could even be pulled off, cos the fact they think the Sea Snake can sustain a whole series shows these people are so out of their depth and have no idea what they’re doing. At least Preston and Carmine get 100 years of content out of it. 🤣

Why doesn't George have HBO commission those edgy fights Jamie Lannister had with other fantasy characters. I believe that he shattered Herminone Grangers teeth so she couldn't cast spells.
See, I think Jaime Lannister should fight Molly Weasley. That way, when he calls her "wench", she'll really fucking lose it on him. And she'll save Ginny or something from him, so he'll see her going full Mama Bear mode, he'll be reminded of his sister, and they'll fall madly in love.
@@joshhoffman5233 So the Starks are absolutely inspired by Aragorn and the whole Dunedains of Arnor (from the North, missing an ancient king, big tall dudes with dark hair and grey eyes), and Jaime Lannister already beat one Stark (RIP Ned) so I'm not sure. I would never bet against a Lannister. Plus...while I like Aragorn, he's so boring in a sense, just like Ned and most of the Stark ideals. So sure maybe he would win, but only because he's the "hero" and he's got to save the world!! Barf. Give me a rogue over a hero any day. they should go with this idea that the Night King wasn't the real power and the power is the force behind the network of Weirwoods and 3 Eye Raven and they control Bran and they're taking over the north through Bran this way they can kinda justify the awful last two seasons without disregarding it completely because if this show is made they probably have to acknowledge all the boring things that happened in the last seasons of GOT

Nosw show pitch: Ghost finds a werewolf mate and has many many pups. The show is him going from door to door of important Westerosi Houses trying to have people adopt the pups.
Pitch: Jon Snow, after a tasty visit from Ygritte in a dream, finally realizes the prophecy IS about him and he DOES want it (to be King) after all! Since HBO already named him Aegon, he then regroups at dragon stone (with Sansa and Arya? No, fuck those badasses) with 2 Blackfyre descendant sister-wives from Essos. Let’s call them Visenya and Rhaenys. Drogon has been there at Dragonstone the whole time. And has given birth to 2 baby dragons since then (for the sister wives). *Note - HBO gives no shits about proper timing for anything so f* it Cut Aegon the Conqueror’s story line, paste into plot for “Snow” Yahtzee!! $10million an episode for everyone + the ink has already been dried (is that the same story? Who fucking cares - PAY ME) Edit: Jon Snow turns out to be binary and identifies as “they” - he also finds himself attracted to males, only with Targaryen blood, so Young Griff enters in place of one of the sister-wives, his real name is Viserys, or Rhaegar TM (me)
27:42 Dude... They're definitely gonna do that, OH MY GOD. What if Yggrite visits him in dreams, and she shows him a big tree, and tells him to go there, and Jon goes and he touches the damn tree and he goes back in time, before Yggrite dies, and he wargs into himself and he stays in the past, and he goes north, with Yggrite and the wildlings to attack the Night King, and he can even get the help of Bran and the Tree-eyed Raven, right?? and Bran wargs into a Dragon, and Jon fucking rides it, and they defeat the White Walkers there and his story never interacts with south of the wall. It's fucking perfect. Cheap. It doesn't need a lot of actors to come back. Jon gets to be with Yggrite. Bran gets to be with that other girl and they live happily ever after. It's fucking GENIUS
I feel like GRRM has just this deep, quaking well of hatred for GoT because he has this big chip on his shoulder about the fandom. At this point he’s in turns trolling his fans, mocking them, or purposely winding them up. It’s grating and at this point GRRM has convinced me that he’s just a miserable, lonely old man who’s the kind of person that resents his own success and those who think highly of him because he doesn’t believe in it himself. Good show. Really not looking forward to any more GoT content, but still excited for your videos, guys.
@@thewanderingartists It’s more likely that the American Republican Party would do a 180 on all their positions, nominate Bernie Sanders in the next election, and defund the military, than it is for George to release Winds of Winter.
Lol, didn't Preston say his most autobiographical character was that Turtle dude from the Wild Cards series he's involved with? I haven't read those books, but from the way Preston described it, that character definitely has self confidence issues, and only believes his "teke" (telekinesis) will work inside a VW Bug...so it does. I think you're right, which is crazy, because he's DONE this...he's a goddamn writer. George, you're so close, just finish!
Can't wait for Jon to become the new King Beyond The Wall and have to go to war with Sansa and the North (because reasons) and Arya has to swoop in and save them as a cameo.
I have to clarify that my thumbs up for this video is purely to show my appreciation of Preston and the gang and it is NOT for this unnecessary show that I probably won't watch.
I would actually love a 4 episode mini series of a jon/tormund brokeback mountain stile romance. It's the only acceptable way to bring back the series. It will probably be an "El Camino" spoof tho
Snow first season will be about Jon and his family… House Snow. Jon will be the Ned Stark type character. He’ll have a feminist wildling wife, three children and Tormond. It takes place North of the Wall. But then while Tormond is out hunting his hunting party encounters white walkers dun dun dunnn Everyone but Tormond dies. A White Walker clutches an injured Tormond by the collar and says “Tell Snow winter is coming” Tormond tells Jon what happened and as King of his holdfast, he sets out with a crew of bros to stop the threat. At the season finale Jon finds out Ygritte is the queen of the white walkers and she is bringing winter. Ygritte chokes Jon to death. Jon’s three kids must take his place and save Westeros. Over the series: One kid joins the children of the forest and becomes a druid, one kid becomes a white walker. And the last kid sets out to find Arya they team up. Arya goes up north and stabs Ice Zombie Ygritte with a Valaryian Steel Dagger. The End. Kitt Harringon saves GoT for a hundred more years.
Here’s my pitch for the snow show. Jon is chilling north of the wall a few years after the show’s end, until Sansa walks into the wildling camp unannounced one day. Jon asks her why she’s there and she explains that Bran has been overthrown so they need his help to put him back in power. He asks her who did this and she tells him that somehow Joffrey Baratheon has returned.
The more of these streams and podcasts of Preston I watch, the more I realize that he is a master of the savage analogy. That Kit Harington saving something bit was amazing, off the top of his head improvised and not an "uhm" or an awkward pause to be seen. Great stand up comedy
So I have this… awful idea and I’m afraid it’s right so I’ll just leave this here too. Dany didn’t die last season, she warged into her last dragon’s body when Jon stabbed her. That’s why the throne was burned and Jon was unhurt, she burned the Iron Throne and left him alive because she loves him. She took her body to the Red Priestesses in Essos so they could resurrect her back in her body. They succeed, but Dany becomes like… obsessed with revenge or something? So she gets the band back together with the Dothraki and the Unsullied. She decides to head North “around the world” to try to attack Westeros from the other side of the Wall. Arya gives Dany a lift because she needs ships again and fake corporate feminism takes happen. But oh no! Dany sees Jon Snow because he went North! They fight and fall in love again and waste time in the Iron Islands. Dany wargs into Ghost and Jon wargs into her dragon, and they “bond” over this. Also Tyrion finds out where whores go. The end.
If there is 1 thing GoT taught me is that you don't watch a tv show and get invested in it. You wait until it's finished and know the ending first. I learned my lesson not to get my hopes up.
They should do a prequel about the theory that the others attacked the 5 Forts (I think they're called) on the far east side of Essos, and how it maybe parellels the main plots story
My pitch for worst plot: Jon receives visions from Ygrrite about Arya being in danger. Now he has to chase after her across the sunset sea and emcounters mermaids, krakens and stuff😂😂😂😂
To be honest I can’t see kit Harrington returning for anything less. I mean I’m pretty sure he’s good on cash and he’s working with Disney/marvel so he still has work lined up. I doubt he would return unless it’s in his new contract guaranteed that his character either ends up (permanently I might add) as King of the 7 or 6 kingdoms, King of the north, Warden of the North, or Hand of the king. I would add “King beyond the wall” but he technically doesn’t really belong beyond the wall he was born in the seven kingdoms I just can’t see Kit being satisfied with a position that doesn’t involve him being it within the 7 kingdoms. Considering how badly HBO handled GOT’s version of “Aragorn” by not even giving Jon a crown in the end or at least a position damn close to king status. I feel like it would be an insult if they try to make kit come back and he doesn’t get any of the positions I mentioned at the end of the show. As for this new shows plot aside from the almost inevitable ending that Jon will get one of the positions I mentioned. 1. I guess they could retcon Danny’s death, “ Dani gets stabbed but not quite dead, the dragon flies away with her, takes her to some priest or something and brings her back to life and now she’s seeking revenge. 2. Or maybe they find some way to bring the night king back like he didn’t really die, that way give this guy a proper send off and final stand for the fate of Westeros. 3. Or some new foreign force overseas is brewing considering Daenerys is dead along with her dragons and Westeros is still recovering from a war some new king may wanna throw their hat in and see if they can take over. 4. Or maybe they decide to expand on the aftermath of season 8, starting a new internal rebellion in the seven kingdoms, if not necessarily to overthrow a Bran but other established houses seeking to grow there influence in Westeros. “Chaos is a ladder”
The three eyed raven literally set up the conflict btw Dany and Jon. Dany’s meltdown and takeout by John is not the end of the story. “Why do you think I came all this way?” Fucking Three Eyed Raven is the real antagonist. If somehow they can tie in Blood Raven with “SNOW” and potential Dunk and Egg series, it might work.
Kit Harrington is really pushing it. One of the things that made his moping tollerable was that Game of Thrones had so many other good characters that could carry the show if he didn't work, but a show about Jon Snow alone will simply reveal how Jon just isn't that appealing on his own...
Here's more bad pitch ideas: Jon finds Craster's white walker baby in some creepy ice cradle and has to go full Mandalorian. The issue of what the Night's Watch is for anymore is never addressed. Discuss.
jon snow travels north and gets frozen in a ice cube or something, he wakes up a thousand years in the future where bran is still king, but now he's crazy, evil and is fused with a giant weirwood tree in the middle of the red keep Jon Snow will have to find a way to go back to the past and stop the future that is bran P.s: yes, it's just samurai jack
THANKYOU, havent heard anyone else make the "joey from friends" connection yet. glad someone else was thinking it too, was feeling like i was just being too pessimistic
He did mention POV characters. If we exclude prologue/epilogues, it's just Nedd, Catelyn (aka most hated character) and Eris Oakhart (aka who's that), so Preston got the point.
You should have spent a lot more time doing HBO show pitch ideas...that was fucking hilarious. Trey the Explainer added an element to the videos...you three should team up more often. Milord Carmine was particularly passionate, probably because of the added Star Wars content.
Nice to have Preston and Trey the Explainer chatting. You two are incredible. Let's have our boy Glidus here more so he can further delay those pisstakes and reviews. He may be working on his lavish coffee table book which depicts all his previous videos instead. Great productivity. So, it's possible we are going to get a Jon Snow television show? I, like most people, will definitely be tuning in to watch this show if it ever reaches the small screen. But, I wonder what this show could possibly add to Jon Snow as a character and this world as a whole (without feeling like the milking of a brand). The Others have been defeated and peace has been made with the Wildlings and the Southerners, though it was done rather lazily. Still done, though. Some people are saying that this show will "fix" what has come before. I find that a bit funny, because the most this new show could possibly do is the equivalent of giving Ned Stark a little bandage after cutting his head off. I don't think this could even fix Jon's character. It may just give him something to do, finally. I am always open and willing to give things a chance before they unfold, but even I cannot see this new show saving Game of Thrones in any way. And if they are going to explore the lore of the real North, that would just weaken what already came. Much of the mystery and lore that mystified Beyond the Wall pivoted around the Others and the Children of the Forrest, which the show promptly discarded. Even the awesome Horn of Winter is useless now. Giants are extinct...or on the brink of extinction. I don't think we can even get an Ice Dragon, unless I'm wrong about it bwing potentially tied to the Others in some way. Will this show just bring these fantasy elements back...? Or maybe Jon will go so far North he will end up in Sothorys or something. Round world. I am curious what this show will be about, and I am excited to see Sweetrobin, Brandon, and Chad Summerchild discuss the show. I am not dismissing it, I am just not sure what the point of it is. Unlike, say, the _House of the Dragon_ series, there is no substance to it. It feels like milking. I am happy to see Kit Harrington return as Jon Snow, though. He's great. If the show does make it to television, I hope it is successful and, more importantly, well-written. Be better than the closing seasons of Game of Thrones, at least. That would not be difficult. Right now, the worst thing I think the show could be about the Night King or an Other (his kid or something) still being alive, somehow, and trying to destroy the world again. This would make the show feel like _Harry Potter and the Cursed Child._ If Jon Snow is really going to face a new threat, have said threat be able to stand on its own instead of relying on the strength of the Night King's character. The threat can be tangential to the Night King, but not entirely connected to him. So many stories with sequels love to tie the main antagonist of the sequel with the prior one without giving the new antagonist any individuality, making them just a shadow of what's come before, not a standalone force. About Martin himself, though, I usually no issue with what he chooses to work with over _The Winds of Winter._ Whatever, let him do what he wants. But he will be working on this show? Why? I have no idea. Does this story _really_ need to be told? Is this somehow a glimpse of Jon's character after _A Dream of Spring_ closes or some alternative fanfiction story? Both would be strange. Why would he reveal that? And I thought Martin disliked fanfiction. Now _this_ feels like a waste of time that could be better spent elsewhere. I am kind-of disappointed in Martin now.
I really hope the show is more like CSI: North of the Wall. And it’s Kit going around solving different wildling murders. Have a cool catchphrase, the title card has a banging ‘The Who’ song. Tormund is Kits Jim Brass. Ygritte is Sara to Jon Snows Gil.
The storyline I wanted from John Snow ended with a final confrontation with the NightKing... But my expectations got me subverted straight out of giving a crap about any of these shows now. You can't shovel me brain dead garbage and expect me to just say sure and give you my dollars.
This is exactly what will happen: Jon helps out the wildlings beyond the wall. He's not a king, but he is a respected figure that people listen to. The big villain is the Weeping Man, a wildling who wants to become King-Beyond-the-Wall and raid the south. For some reason, we're supposed to take him as a serious threat, after Jon faced zombies, white walkers and dragons. We also get some forced conflict with the new Lord-Commander and Sansa, who briefly believe that the wildlings as a whole are a threat, but that gets resolved quickly. Jon's new love interest is Val, who is a carbon copy of Ygritte as far as her character goes. She wants him, but he can't get over Emilia Clarkle, who is also in it, and we get a few flashbacks of Jon's relationship with her. Jon regrets killing her and spends countless minutes of screentime agonizing over if what he did was right. Also, for some reason Sam is there too, despite being the Grand Maester. He's there to listen to Jon monologue about his feelings. We also get a cameo of king Bran, who's there to deliver exposition about what is going on in King's Landing. In the end, Jon gets over what happened with Daenerys, defeats the Weeping Man and starts a family with Val. Wildlings want to make him king, but he refuses.
Obviously, like most people, i watched got for Jon Snow not for the interesting storylines that were initially there, the court intrigue, the mystery of the white walkers, the inter family medieval dynamics, or even the dragons. No. I watched got for Jon Snow like eveyone else.
Here's my pitch for Snow. Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Jon Snow and Tormund Giantf*cker as they travel North of the wall to the heart of winter, they fall down a pit and wind up in Yi Ti, then season 2 is a buddy cop mystery/comedy as they solve a mystery to get back home. John Snow is the straight man to Tormund's wildman comedy. You could get at least 3 seasons out of this shit
I’ve always said I don’t think the way the show handled the Others was how George is going to handle them. (If he finishes the damn books…). What I mean is, every other major fantasy trope was subverted, but the trope of the evil monsters that are just evil, well, because! It doesn’t make any sense. So hopefully if they did this “Jon Snow” sequel show, we could learn more about the Others’ actual motivations, etc.
@@joshhoffman5233 You’re probably right sadly. I’m holding on to the briefest glimmer of hope that since GRRM is involved that maybe we’ll have a chance at the Others’ history and motivations. But it will probably more of Season 8…

Plot idea: Aegon invades. Turns out baby Aegon just had dark hair as a baby. It lightened up to blond when he got older, and conveniently he looks just like Jon. That way Kit can play both roles AND we get to reuse the Viserys wig.

Remember in the show canon they’re both named Aegon. So I guess actual probably not aegon would need a new name.
I can't wait for the cliffhanger ending of snow season 1, when Gendry runs from the stormlands straight to Jons camp outside the wall to deliver a final message: "The nightking is back... and this time, it's personal."
Some ideas that could be implemented to "the pitch":
-Jon finds a baby White Walker and decides to protect it against the wishes of everyone else. This could be "the kid" that was mentioned
-Drogon does appear and takes up most of the budget so they still don't show Ghost a lot
-(Mis)Quoting Ned a bunch
-They go to Meereen and meet Daario as if anyone asked for that
-A big legacy cameo but they couldn't get the actor back to film so its a behind-the-head shot with the voice overdubbed in post
-Loosely adapting other GRRM IPs with the established characters of the new series

My awful outline for Season one of Snow:
Season starts with John, Wildings and Night's Watch remnants sitting around wondering what to do with no wall. Bran "speaks" to John "Go North, winter is coming!"
John and friends go north meeting small communities and learning about strange rumors.

He can save "an" ending but the plots abandoned and character arcs destroyed...theres no coming back from that.
#StillSalty
Have bran time travel to retcon the ending
That’s the catch 22.
The only way to fix the ending is to retcon and redo it and people hate that so it will have that stigma that will color people opinions even if it good, that first impression is still bad.
The alternative is what we are seemingly getting, which is adding more on top of a bad foundation. You could build the most beautiful house but if the foundation is built in mud it will bring the house down. I think I would like Hedge Knight as Movies. One book a movie. Putting a short story into a series screams for a lot of filler material.
The hedge knight is the asoiaf IP most ripe for tv/ movie production. Everything is there it’s an easy to get into story and all the dialogue is written .
I would prefer a long series starting with the reign of Aegon the Unworthy and ending with Summerhall or even Robert's Rebellion.

We all owe Ser Alliser Thorne an apology. He tried to stop this.
Snow first season will be about Jon and his family… House Snow. Jon will be the Ned Stark type character. He’ll have a feminist wildling wife, three children and Tormond.
It takes place North of the Wall. But then while Tormond is out hunting his hunting party encounters white walkers dun dun dunnn
Everyone but Tormond dies. A White Walker clutches an injured Tormond by the collar and says “Tell Snow winter is coming”
Tormond tells Jon what happened and as King of his holdfast, he sets out with a crew of bros to stop the threat.
At the season finale Jon finds out Ygritte is the queen of the white walkers and she is bringing winter. Ygritte chokes Jon to death. Jon’s three kids must take his place and save Westeros.
Over the series:
One kid joins the children of the forest and becomes a druid,
one kid becomes a white walker.
Introducing this summer, Kit Harringtons summer house payment
The more of these streams and podcasts of Preston I watch, the more I realize that he is a master of the savage analogy. That Kit Harington saving something bit was amazing, off the top of his head improvised and not an "uhm" or an awkward pause to be seen. Great stand up comedy
Bran recruits Jon to become a time traveler with him and they have to stop a time hopping Targaryen.
thats sounds aawful
i love it
So I have this… awful idea and I’m afraid it’s right so I’ll just leave this here too.
The end.
thanks, I hate it. 😭
Yes...this is Tyrion's story, Preston. It's not about him meeting Dany. He goes WHEREVER WHORES GO lol
A mother of dragons.
“Whores go..” is a Shakespeare allusion: either a whorehouse or a Sept; Tower of Joy is likely both.
I'd like to see what happened over there. same with hardhome
My pitch for worst plot: Jon receives visions from Ygrrite about Arya being in danger. Now he has to chase after her across the sunset sea and emcounters mermaids, krakens and stuff😂😂😂😂
My thought is John Snows journey to the heart of winter
We get to know exactly what frightened Bran so.much.
I'd be really happy if you started to cover Better Call Saul, it's such an amazing, character driven story, it doesn't get much better than that
You mean the spinoff of an extremely overrated show from a decade ago?
I hope when dream of spring comes out in 2049 it’s just 101 year old George re-doing season 8 beat for beat, abandoned plot lines and all
"somehow... the night king returned..."
Here's more bad pitch ideas: Jon finds Craster's white walker baby in some creepy ice cradle and has to go full Mandalorian. The issue of what the Night's Watch is for anymore is never addressed.
Discuss.
Dany has cameos as a “Ghost” in his head that chimes in every once in awhile 😂
jon snow travels north and gets frozen in a ice cube or something, he wakes up a thousand years in the future where bran is still king, but now he's crazy, evil and is fused with a giant weirwood tree in the middle of the red keep
Jon Snow will have to find a way to go back to the past and stop the future that is bran
P.s: yes, it's just samurai jack
Will Jon also be turn into a chicken like Jack
THANKYOU, havent heard anyone else make the "joey from friends" connection yet. glad someone else was thinking it too, was feeling like i was just being too pessimistic
I'm requesting that Preston does a chapter in his fan fiction WOW about a dinosaur conspiracy lol don't care how he does it 😂
A conspiracy about dinosaurs?
- or -
A conspiracy by dinosaurs?
''george killed 1 person they liked''
meanwhile i'm still mourning Robb and king Bobby B
He did mention POV characters.
If we exclude prologue/epilogues, it's just Nedd, Catelyn (aka most hated character) and Eris Oakhart (aka who's that), so Preston got the point.
@@nikagogibedashvili6476
And Ser Waymar.
I'm still pretty upset about him.
@@alanpennie8013 he's from Prologue actually and in my eyes, his death was unavoidable being a Summer knight in the land of Winter
What if Rose Leslie doesn't play Ygritte, but Ygritte's sister or an Ygritte lookalike ? They also could find Dark Sister somewhere in the show.
You should have spent a lot more time doing HBO show pitch ideas...that was fucking hilarious.
Trey the Explainer added an element to the videos...you three should team up more often. Milord Carmine was particularly passionate, probably because of the added Star Wars content.
was Trey broadcasting from a Russian sub in the Black sea?
Trey in a fishtank 😂
thank you for this graphic, it explains everything
The storyline I wanted from John Snow ended with a final confrontation with the NightKing... But my expectations got me subverted straight out of giving a crap about any of these shows now.
You can't shovel me brain dead garbage and expect me to just say sure and give you my dollars.
This is exactly what will happen:
Jon helps out the wildlings beyond the wall.
Sounds very reasonable
Thanks, I hate it.
@@Ironorchids You know I'm right.
Thanks, I hate it, still better than what it's probably really going to be
100%
I'm also fully expecting a s2 teaser about Bran finding Drogon and the white walkers returning in a desperate attempt to keep the ball rolling.
Introduce Val! Queen beyond the wall!
Preston right away “Awww guys its tough what are we doing”😂😂
Obviously, like most people, i watched got for Jon Snow not for the interesting storylines that were initially there, the court intrigue, the mystery of the white walkers, the inter family medieval dynamics, or even the dragons. No. I watched got for Jon Snow like eveyone else.
Like most people? Looks like we are alone on our own bandwagon.
Precisely what they won’t do, even though you’re almost for sure right.
@@joshhoffman5233 You’re probably right sadly. I’m holding on to the briefest glimmer of hope that since GRRM is involved that maybe we’ll have a chance at the Others’ history and motivations. But it will probably more of Season 8…
@@Genethagenius I suppose I’d prefer the shows don’t suck. But then again with the books not being done I kind of wish misery on this franchise like I do Disney Star Wars far what they’ve done. I don’t really care about the others story unless it’s in the books bc there’s no way it’s what the book would’ve been. I’d prefer they retconn in some ways. We will never know who was nights king or what it even meant at this rate lol
@@joshhoffman5233 he didn't care when got ending sucked and he sure won't care now as long as it makes him money
@@johnny_thunder_3024 sometimes I think all that’s stopping him from just fessing up that winds isn’t a thing is that it would kill the franchise. For a while I’ve been wanting him to just do that bc it’s always goddamn George hasn’t finished… hey poooor George… hey George doesn’t owe anyone any apologies stop harassing George!
If George doesn’t want to be bothered unless it’s for TV I don’t blame him. And he can own up to it. Or he can finish, um, one more book
This reeks of bad fanfiction. Does anyone believe Martin would be involved in this? He still has the Winds of Winter on his plate, and whatever other series HBO has managed to rope him into. Dude won't have the time to write a plot for the Adventures of John Snow.
With the whole ET / YiTi thing, @RedTeamReview is definitely showing his Brazilian roots. My Brazilian wife also cannot discern between a "y" and "I" in her speech.
When I first heard of the “Snow” show my mind immediately went to the “Joey” spin off… cringe ….
Wait till we find out the actual name is “Snowy”
GOT is a dead horse. A good spin off wont change how season 8 destroyed the series and it wont change the fact that the books are incomplete.
This podcast reminded that at least I got the AGOT mod for CK3 to look forward to.
Preston is my favorite. Followed him for years now. I used to actually chat with him when he first showed up. The whole R + L = D theory. I had the same thought. Keep up the good work.
