Dual exhaust install on 1979 Mustang, early Fox bodies are a bit unique

Here’s what I went through to install dual exhaust on my 1979 Mustang Pacecar. I didn’t find a lot of info on what was exactly different on early fox body Mustangs vs later ones that came from the factory with dual exhaust so I did my best to record what I went though converting mine.

I have a 1979 I got in 1989. Stiflers has a tubular transmission cross member for the C4. I've had mine for about 10 years now with no problems.

Nice job you could put some series 10 flow master muffler's on it even with the cats on it, it'll be louder 👍

Probably won’t be selling this one any time soon. I’ve had it for over 30 years. You’ll have to talk to my kids someday!😂
