When I used to live in Bang Saen and rotate weekends between Pattaya and Bangkok I can remember staying here one weekend. Paid around 800 baht from memory (nearly 15 years back) and was very happy; you got a great price!

I've stayed in a few hotels in soi 10, See Mee Spring, Page 10, The Stay...though all 1000B more expensive (per night). I use Oum Laundry (next door to See Mee Spring) regardless on where i stay. Excellent service & surprisingly well priced.
I am always amazed at how much there has changed and yet is still unchanged. Nice little room nothing fancy, per the price but a quiet clean place. Have you been to or know of either P72, and the White Rose ? P72 is a combination bar, restaurant and hotel on the walking street on a corner. White rose is just down the side street from it, actually a little bit fancier and slightly nicer tucked in off the main street. Both are actually nice little places and in this category of price. But clean and well kept. P72 is actually, or it used to be, a nice little corner bar and very good little restaurant.

Loved the incorporation of the Swanky Music when viewing the room at what I would considered to be a Love Hotel, in a Love City...
Idyllic location, great price and you're so right about breezing around Pattaya first thing in the morning. It has a certain surrealism, which comes from the contrast of a few hours time.
On all my trips to Pattaya, I've stayed at Sawasdee Sea View Hotel. On the first few occasions, I checked out their standard rooms and then switched to their superior rooms. Great value for money. Staff quite friendly and helpful, too.

thanks never stayed at any of the sawasdee chain but the price is very good for peak season you cannot complain about accommodation costs even with a strong baht
Excellent review and great value for the location. Small room but good enough for a short visit. Never seen 2nd road so quiet, almost worth getting up early, but not quite!!
I agree. For a short very visit it's good enough. I recommend Sutus Court 1 for some days.

Funny, I stayed at the hotel about 6 - 7 years ago. In the old building to the left. Which at that time was yet to be renovated. So many new buildings around it now. Back then you could see into the distance. And if memory serves part of the Sea. You got a great price. I think I paid around 750 baht at the time.

I stayed there 10 years ago, I'm sure they had an elevator. Good to c they've renovated the rooms, coz I booked a double & it was terrible so I upgraded to superior which was much better on the top floor
I was there a few time 10 years ago. Massage shop was a tailor shop. The cheaper rooms look a lot better now. They have larger room over the parking garage and have a lift. I enjoyed to be near the beach road. They did a good job overall painting and updating the hotel.
huge fan of soi 10 although I've never stayed at this hotel...stayed at sea me spring too and tree which were pretty good to me..soi 10 is pretty much prime real estate and the prices are not too bad..it's somewhat quiet...it can be somewhat noisy towards second road with the bar complex there as you enter from second road...some of the bars are decent for a beer or two
Nice review R4K , cant go wrong for the money albeit rooms tad on the small side but great place to stay to avoid the famous bar girl grape vine when bringing back a lady for the night , £10 p/n on Agoda with breakie with my agoda gold VIP membership

Cheaper way to have a place to stay is with local holiday GF's room. Bar fine is usually 300 bath… And you don't spend too much time with there anyways

@@Rides4Kickz I booked room from LK Metro area for 1 week, paid 800+ bath/night (Fever). Moved to Chaba Hut Resort for another week and paid 800+ bath/night. And at the same time I had holiday GF (her room w/o AC was 3000bath/month). Both of our rooms were empty most of the time as we travelled…
@@Rides4Kickz Anyway, I would like to take the cheapest option for 4 weeks. The place where you could just sleep if you are alone. Spend rest of the nights at somewhere else

It probably had a seaview before the surrounding condos were built and the older low buildings were demolished.

That's a brilliant price just over 400 bt a night considering page 10 on the same soi is at least 1500 a night or more I dare say it would be much more expensive in high season.
I've stayed here several times now and always a quiet night's sleep as well. 🙏🍺

No lift and the room is small, but the location, motorcycle parking and price outweigh these points. I don't spend much time in a hotel, anyway. I'm always out.

Nope, just book for 2 adults when booking online.
you wanna get the superior room its alot better and i think like 6-700 a night. even has a balcony with a window for a door haha..

Dear all Visitors, please do not stay in sawasdee SeaView Pattaya soi 10 Beach road hotel Because there the cleaners, and reception and duty manager all are being a group involve in stolen things, money from your room during cleaning your room and the duty manager has defend these cleaners because all are involve in that such kind of stolen activies,
Please be aware and stay away from such kind of cheap hotels in all Thailand sawasdee group hotels.
During cleaning the room one cleaner go inside and close the door and stolen money from a visitor bag and the other waiting her outside the door and looking for people's who come or not. And in one day two time she go inside the room for cleaning. and if you thinking that you will report in police, so it's only a dream, because police can't help you there.
no lift, show stopper, you couldn't swing a cat in that room, good blog

I booked a stay here in Jan/Feb 2020. But had to cancel due to family death , after seeing the room, I’m glad I did cancel 🙀⁉️😂🤣😂👎🏼

Definitely not for me horrible old prison cell looking....but if you want spend 9 dollars a night fine ...I'm booking hotel amber, or if you like stay soi honey the scenery hotel good 30 dollars. No breakfast...
