Love the change. Very unique and creative. I think I would have used the same color you used for the body on the wave also. Just seems a little dark and out of place.
It was definitely an internal debate, but I figure if I didn’t like the end result I could always go back and change it. At the same time I love having some exposed wood veneer.

What a gorgeous piece, just as ALL of your pieces are! I just bought my first modern dresser (very similar to this one). I’d hoped to do what you did, but after watching, not so sure. That took a team and a lot of skill! Amazing! When you put the wood glue all around the pole wrap with a baggie, how did you sand in the groves of the wrap? It’s such a narrow area?
Hi!! Yes, it took two to make the cuts because we don’t have the right tool for the job. Otherwise, one of us definitely could’ve done it. What I scooped into the bag was wood filler. I used the Q-tip to smooth it out. After drying I sanded any wood filler residue from the pole wrap using a fine grit sanding sheet.
Absolutely gorgeous and thank you for showing us what you did. When you spray three coats of GF’s HPTC in your Wagner, do you clean the nozzle and rest of the top part of the sprayer between coats or not?
I don’t clean the sprayer between coats because the polyurethane dries very fast. I’ve never had any issues with my sprayer.
It's your design so pretty I paint on canvas and this art teacher said you should add this or that my response was then it will be your design not mine so I tell you I wouldn't do any of the above it's your piece esta bien bonito así

What have you chosen for hardware?
The drawers have a groove underneath them that work as a handle. No need to add anything.
