Why exactly if you were going to go through the trouble of a cam swap would you pick the lS9 cam? You would have been much better off with an actual truck cam from TSP, BTR etc. The LS9 cam is essentially an LS7 profile, they both optimize top end at the loss of some low end power and this is a that you obviously daily drive so why would you ever want to do that? Besides the fact that the top end gains are hardly worth even doing the swap, maybe 25 HP peak to peak. To each his own but I don’t think this was a very well thought out cam swap.

I chose that cam because it was 75hp more over stock with no big mods. We will agree to disagree
