- We finally install a 93 performance tune on my 2006 GMC Sierra 5.3 that has 1 3/4 Speed Engineering long tube headers and Volant performant CAI!

I had Blackbear tune my 05 6.0 suburban and was extremely happy with it. The trans shifting made it a pleasure to drive. Also the 10 speed in the new trucks is so good stock, it reminds me of that tuned one.
Nice video series on your upgrades and tuning. I agree. Your truck sounds and runs nice! Edit - Love the fact tuning company wants a datalog after the tune.

Please consider the truck Norris cam, it’s great for stock stalls, adds torque through the entire power curve, has a little bit of baby chop

Texas speed 224r cam kit is in my setup.also Btr stg 4 kit is good one for cam only trucks.they also has nsr kits for small cams

Just to be precautionary it would be a good idea to change the trans oil and filter just to be safe new oil will keep it happy for longer

I have the live Blackbear tune with Justin. 06 sierra 5.3 tuned for 91+ octane and cold air induction. Haven't had another truck to run with me yet also many sport car's. This truck is fast very happy with my second retune.. Thanks again Justin!
Also the corvette 2nd gear servo
Put a corvette servo in my '07 classic 4L60e and after a Diablo tune I pulled and that sucker SLAMMED into 2nd then SLAMMED into 3rd. I had to check out the rearview to make sure no parts were sitting on the road. Gonna reinstall the origional servo. I love my Trucky Truck and damaging it would hurt my soul.
I don’t want to be that guy but I’ve been watching for a while and I love the roundbody gmc but with the mud grapps look I think you should get a go light they add a whole new look and they are fun to play with

Sounds like my nephew's 99 5.3. He went to some shop and they put a personal tune on it. Wish I knew the HP but that 99 5.3 is no joke! Would you be interested in doing a dino to see how much you did gain from the factory HP?
Hey bro you need to get your throttle body ported it helps a lot on this trucks
One thing you should do is black out the gmc badge on the front other than that the the truck is sick
Corvette servo and accumulator spring would help that 1-2 shift
If I had to make a guess, i think that’s what he’s adding to the trans. Corvette servos do wonders, I also add a washer on the pin spring, that’s under the cap.

@@bigf1502 it’s the 1-2 WOT shift that destroys them.
The first gear is really short good for digs if the trans is stock 1-2-3 rpm drop is huge.
Your front shocks may be bad. Unless you have not rotated the tires for more then 5Kmiles.

I have a 2006 chevrolet tahoe Z71. It's stock and in incredible condition. Would it be good to get a tune on it. What's your suggestion. Idk nothing about this kind of stuff.

Adding corvette servo? 1-2 shift gonna bite 😂 might end up needing a trans after that but 4l80e swap it and never look back
You loose power with that 4l80e just with the mods he has
@@gsanchez5593 not going to make a difference either. He probably plans to do a few motor mods eventually. Just a reliable transmission to definitely hold power and the bigger tires

If it’s bouncing between 40-55 on a 99-07 classic it’s frame beaming. The rear cab mounts go bad and cause it. A smaller tire sidewall makes it more noticeable. This is of course assuming your tires are properly balanced and no driveline vibrations

Nice truck i got a few questions i got an 11 stock gmc sierra denali 6.2 whats the first thing i can do to make it a faster?
Skip the intake do a drop in filter if will do the same as a full cai if you want big difference a aftermarket converter will make it feel fast and keep that 6l80e alive longer since the stock converter fails commonly. If you want power a cam, nitrous, boost will give you the biggest bump honestly if you want something fast skip straight to boost.
If you just want something simple tune goes a long way.
Your bouncing at 40 mph bc your having axle wrap/ wheel hop bc of the lift block, i have the same truck and lift and it happens to me too

It’s actually frame beaming. Lift block size doesn’t effect it on these trucks. It’s the rear cab mounts
