- Today we got a 5.3 Fbo with a Torquer V2 cam from tsp
Specs on cam 232/234 110lsa
Truck still has the stock 342 gears
Added a 3600 Single Disk stall
We recently installed the cam on the truck… & Tuned it, then we went to Mexico, for some more Tuning Adjustments for the new stall…
The Truck is getting some New Gears too.. then we will see the difference & compare again.

Will this have good powerband with a 4.8 tbss ported intake tune stage 2 4l60 n 373 finally found a truck that sounds good with this cam n was considering this cam or waiting for a 6.2 swap

What is your rear differential gear ratio 3:73? Very sweet truck! I have an 04 Sierra long box 4.8 and 3:73 gears. It moves out ok for being stock

I have that same cam that came off a ls1. Tsp told me this would be to big of a cam for my 5.3 in planning on putting it in and would lose power and drivability in the low rpm’s. How’s yours do with the torquer cam. My trucks currently stock with 4.11s
This is a customer’s truck.. & if u got the 411s then it should work even better than this truck. I recommend u to get atleast a 3800 triple disk stall.. if u wanna go bigger it should work even better. It would stay on the powerband with the stall & from digs it would have a badass launch too
& drivability wise this truck runs really good bro.. no issues with it.

What size Injectors you recommend for this set up?
This one has stock injectors bro, maybe some 32lb would be good enough
What stall converter speed would you recommend on a gen 4 5.3 with a BTR stage 2 cam 6l80 transmission?
I have that cam in one of my trucks... a 2400-2800 stall converter would be good in it. You could go 3000 if your not gonna tow with it. Don't forget a good trans cooler with the stall. Alot of people cheap out and blame the trans when they have been running it over 200 degrees. Good luck

I’m a little late just found this video I have same cam v2 torquer cam / ported tbss intake ported 102 Holley tb / efans / longtube headers 373 gears going in for a stage 1 transmission I’m stuck on what torque converter size to go at on my truck on 20 on 35s 4x4 I want it to move I was thinking 3500-3600 you think that’s decent ?

Not sure cause its not Dyno Tuned. But you can feel the difference
