- How to stop a 1009 Whp Porsche 996 Turbo!
Porsche's brakes have always been noted as being some of the best in the word on performance cars. They've always seriously over engineered them since many of these cars go straight from the showroom to the track!
Doubling and tripling the power of your car can suddenly make those over engineered brakes seem underwhelming now!
The blue car finally got it's 1000whp Porsche 996 Turbo Brake upgrade.
The front calipers are now 6 piston vs. 4 with significantly larger pad area and the largest rotors we could stuff under the BBS 18" rims.
The rear cailpers are still 4 piston, but with much larger pistons to maintain the balance front to rear along with upgraded rotors and pads as well.
All the lines are stainless steel braided / teflon lined for the best pedeal feel.
The rotor hats are anodized Blue and the calipers are color matched to the Cobalt blue paint on the car, of course with an awesome Protomotive script logo!
On the street they feel significantly stronger than the oem. I can't wait to test them on the track!
