Just ordered my first few sets from Spellbinders. Wish I would of seen this before I purchased. Arrived a few days ago and I love them. New to alcohol markers and having fun playing and learning.

Looked them up and they're pretty well priced. 4$ a marker, less then a Copic. I love gimmicks like this so I might give them a shot, and if they're as good as a copic...

Can the used cartridges be recycled?

Actually no dye based alcohol markers or bottles that have had that type of ink in them can be recycled. If something changes we will make a big announcement for sure. Thanks for asking.

Unfortunately all alcohol markers (not just OLO) fall under a stipulation where the plastic cannot be recycled. Because of this, right now, our cartridges are not recyclable. We are looking into a number of options for recycling, but it still is in the early stages. We are very conscience of our eco-footprint and are doing everything we can to be eco-friendly. Like John said, If/when we have an update we will make a full announcement. Thanks for your comment and curiosity.
