Wonderful 27 minutes of ramble. I didn’t have any alcohol markers so my Family gifted me the Founders set and then as a Christmas gift last year, I received the pre-order of the new 32 colors which I just received. I think your art is amazing. TFS.
Thank you so much for this, especially the link to purchase. Such a coincidence - I was just recently looking at my usual shopping sites and didn't see much in Olos to add to my collection. You are always fun to watch!
Very interesting….. Maybe it would make sense to buy 1 half-marker and 1 refill and attach the unopened refill to the marker. That way you have refill to use immediately when the marker goes dry. It’s also solves the problem two colors as one unit. The refill is pretty reasonable at $2.69 vs $1.99 for the optional handle.
How wonderful to know hex charts exist for more than Copics (which I always use when using copics!). I so appreciate your ethical nature of offering a purchase and then not requiring re-purchases for updates. That’s a huge sign of integrity as far as I’m concerned.!! You are so talented is explaining complex systems- you have made my coloring so much less frustrating and more joyful. Thank you!!
Integrity maybe - but I would feel bad asking people for more money for just moving some hexagons around. Even if it takes me days to get them juggled just right, LOL.
Completely off topic on Olo, but a few days ago I saw a (frustrated? 🤔) post on insta that your copic videos don't get hits/views. This one I saw scrolling through. And I've noticed you do more pencil, Olo, or something else not copic. The thing is, I skip those, which means I might not get shown whenever you do use Copics. Just a thought, love your Copic videos.
It's frustrating getting seen anywhere :( I create in all the mediums and brands and rotate, but it seems if folks don't engage with anything at all (dont wanna see that brand so buh bye) then they're missing out on seeing what they DO want. Even tapping a thumbs up tells the algorithm you like that thing so it might show you when I have something Copic going on. (a bunch lately have been Copic and you didn't see a video til this....so that might have been avoided with a tap? I'm not sure.) I'm hoping the new alcohol marker class gets out to folks who'll be interested.
Look at what that $1k is for - both sides the same pen but different nibs, 4 copic markers worth of ink. That’s the full meal deal. I got just a half marker with brush nibs, it was a LOT less expensive. Plus you don’t need them all at once (or ever lol…the hex chart proved to me a lot of colors are wayyyy close to each other.)
I remember watching your channel on my way to therapy as a kiddo about 10 years ago, I am happy to be recommended your channel again!
Glad you're back for a visit!
This is great, thanks Sandy. I didn't understand from their website what a half marker was! Now I do!
You have such an eye for color and detail.
I haven't seen half markers like that before, they look really cool!
Innovative! I love when companies think outside the box. And now I don’t have to pay for a chisel tip that I don’t use😎
So wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing, Sandy! 😍
You are so welcome!
Glad to know I can download an updated version of the chart without repurchasing it. Ironically, I’d just colored it in this weekend.
lol a few days too soon🤣 that’s my life too!
Thank you so much for this. I am off to download the updated OLO chart. SO glad they have more greens.

What a lovely gift!!!
Great video. I’m still pretty new to alcohol markers. 😃
I can’t wait to get the new OLOs.. I love your visuals for the video.. How quick the dry out was one of my frustrations too..
I had used the greens to pieces in a drawing about two months ago, all it took was a few hexagons charts and they went quick. Eeep!

Glad it was helpful!
Fantastic video, Sandy. This helped me so much!
I'm so glad!
Beautiful result and nice colors wheel
Oooh aahhh… pretty colors.
Thank you for the wonderful summary about Olo Markers! I might just get a few 🙂
Thanks for this great information. It is very helpful even though I have not jumped into alcohol markers as of yet.
Very helpful. Thank you so very much. Can’t wait for the next video
Glad it was helpful!
This was just the video I was looking for! Thank you

Oh now that’s a great idea I think. Though I’m sleepy so I hope I remember to keep thinking when I’m awake🤣
Pretty pretty!!!
Thank you

Fabulous
How do you store your Olo markers? Upright or laying down?
You can store them either direction
Would these work on gourds?
Hmm I’ve never tried that. Maybe? Would a sharpie work? If so these might.

I’m so happy
I have been building my collection. Can’t afford all at once.
None of us can, I hear ya
They're nice, but a $1000+?
Hmmm......hard pass. But they're still nice regardless.

@SandyAllnock1 yeah, I looked at the smaller sets and at least price-wise they're more doable.
