I bought the 1st set of 64 brush only after watching the video with Lori. I too do not use the chisel tip. Looking forward to watching you color more with these.

What's that old saying, "In for a penny ... in for a pound.". I bought the entire set, half markers - brush tip only for a total of 64 markers. I will likely end up buying another set when they come out with the bullet tip. I hope they don't keep us waiting long for that. Thanks for showing us how you put yours together!
The design of these us brilliant. I rarely use the chisel tips and this makes so much more sense! Going to start saving for some! 😁

I've spent a LOIT replacing chisel tips with bullet or mini tips. It would be great to select what you want in advance.

I believe Olo is planning to add bullet tips sometime in the future. Do you know when? I think having a brush and bullet marker would work best for me, so I’m going to wait for that option.
I don't know when that will be available.

Hi Susan, An OLO Half-marker carrier 2ml of ink, about the same as a full traditional alcohol marker. I hope this answers your question. Nichol is wonderful! :)

Hello my friend! How are you storing your OLO’s?
I have a wonky question Nichol. How would you store these so you are able to see which color to grab if each end is a different color? These look like something I would like to try but I’m not sure about storage.
Because I am combining the same color family together I will be storing mine with all the reds together. All the blues together, etc. I will know if one end is aqua, for example, the other end will be a shade lighter or darker.

@@NicholSpohrLLC we used them at boot camp and that was recommended. Copic paper is great too.
Nichol, as far as paper,have you tried the Hammermill color cover stock 80lb for the OLO or Copic markers? I didn’t like the Nina either and I never got the
X-press it blending card because from a lot of artists I heard it’s not really that good with Copics. Also it’s not easily accessible and pretty expensive.A few days ago Amazon had a pack of 25 for $25,but it’s out of stock now. I think Simon says has it but only 6 in a pack. For me the Hammermill works very well with Copics and other markers. I am expecting my order of OLO markers so I haven’t tried them yet. Maybe OLO works best with the X-press it, but if it works with the Hammermill, that would be great.
That's interesting you have heard that as the teachers who used to teach for Copic always recommended the Xpress It. I haven't tried to the Hammermill yet but I will going into 2023. I still see a 25 pack Xpress It in stock at Amazon and a 10 pack availalel at SSS.
@@NicholSpohrLLC I'm not sure why, I have the X press it blending in my cart at Amazon but it says currently unavailable. Are you in US or UK? Maybe it was available for a short time, otherwise I don't understand...
@@NicholSpohrLLC I been teaching copic since they came to U,S and always said to use Xpress blend been around alot time pricey but so worth it, Hammermill is great for other projects! just my opion! ENJOY!! adding OLO now they are amazing and awesome marker!
So the real difference is that you can choose your tip because the markers seem as expensive as copics unless I’m reading it wrong $7.49 per? Think it’s nice that you can connect 2 colors like that
That price is for a full marker: brush + chisel (or whatever combination you choose). There is a drop down menu called "style" where you can choose the traditional brush/chisel or brush/brush or half options. I chose the half option.
