This was an interesting start to Nightwing's story arc. Not what I thought it was going to originally be but I love it so far. Mostly because I love how the original team has come together to rescue Conner! Feels like it's building up to a big finale. Do you think Garfield, M'gann, and Clark are going to find out about Conner before he is officially rescued? I wonder how that is going to go. I mean they are probably just starting to accept Conner's death and then to find out he's been alive this whole time, trapped in the Phantom Zone. I'm interested to see how the writers will deal with that, especially for Garfield. Talk about a whirlwind of emotions.
I think (and this is a total longshot) that we might also see Wally return.
Why? Because if you notice Connor's "visions," he sees Lex, Superman, and everyone outside of the phantom in full color. Everyone else is seen as phantoms. And the one person we see as a phantom in Kent's visions is Wally.
@@Exl6243 I think what could possibly happen, is that when they rescue Connor, he'll mention that he had hallucinations of many of his friends, but the one of Wally seemed different, and suggests he may still be alive.
Zatanna has been sitting on the information that Connor is alive for quite a few episodes and has yet to inform his wife that he could still be alive.
@@Zoditron Well she didn't know for sure, but had some leads that she wanted to follow. She also didn't and still doesn't want to set M'gann up for potential disappointment.

I know they haven't told M'Gann or Gar in order to protect them in case the rescue mission goes south, but I think both of them are going to be ticked at the team when complications arise. Secrets, even with the best intentions, have always caused trouble on this show.
Could also be if they were involved and things start going south, that they might compromise everything chasing the slim chance rather than backing up, reassessing and trying something else.
M'Gann should know that better than anyone after the crap show that was season 3
Better to have them ticked off if it works than to be devastated if it doesn't.
At first, I didn't understand why Miss Martian (and BB) were not involved, but now it kinda makes sense (On Z's perspective at least). Apart from being Connor's fiancee, what other beneficial things can she do in those moments? What can shape-shifting, matter-phasing, and telepathy can do on that mission? Not to mention they're still recovering from his "Death", and then one day, someone will just say "Hey, guess what, your Connor could still be alive" without rock-solid evidence. Sure, let's say M'gann will believe Zatanna, but what exactly can she do beneficially? (Other than being Connor's fiancee?).
And besides, if their mission is successful, they'll just bring him back to her as a surprise gift or something. What's...the...rush?

1. I say again, even if she knew, what beneficial thing could she do for the mission? Stand by? And what can her Shape-shifting do in this situation? And even if Connor does get mad, I doubt it’s a worse one anyway. Probably the same as what he did in Season 2
2. Is it really that necessary to inform the entire league? What if others said no? (I mean Dick denied Zatanna’s theory at first) Do they even have the luxury to do so? The rest of this will continue on number 4
3. Are we even certain that this Saturn Girl can do that? (The ability to erase memories?) Because if yes, why didn’t she just erase Connor, Garfield, and M’gann’s memories when they got compromised on Mars?
4. Continuing with 2, I have a question with this no. 1 rule, Does this “No More Secret” rule have no boundaries? Because if there is none, when why haven’t they revealed their identities to the public? Not to mention The Light Organization’s existence?
Black Lightning’s rule maybe is understandable, but that doesn’t mean that it’s flawless one.
Again. What’s the rush?
@Will N Hey, I understand, you hate the fact that some members are keeping other members in the dark. But after watching some shows and animes, I noticed this one pattern/logic.
"Every time a plan is mentioned to the characters and the audience, the plan mostly fails...miserably, but if a plan was kept secret, most of the time, it works like a charm."
Even I don't exactly get this logic, but it works.
At this point they do have evidence. And they don’t know it yet but one of the enemies is malafa’ak so they might need her to deal with him. Oh and someone’s gonna need to fix his brain but they don’t know that yet either.
Actually I was kind of hoping Megan would get involved since they know her brother was involved in the scheme to open the phantom zone. Having a telepath on their side would be useful if he ever shows up. Especially if they want to locate a bioship.
@@tolkienblack Do they even know that's Ma'alefa'ak? Last I checked, the only ones that have seen what he looks like are those who went to new genesis in Season 3, Connor, and Garfield.

@Will N we apparently watched different shows, or my teachers just showed us what was actually relevant to what we were learning ala color spectrum, sound waves, pollination and other such things.
Saturn Girl: You had already killed superboy but you couldn't leave well enough alone. You had steal the phantom projector in the present and attempt to release your father now.
I really hope Lor releases his family only to see his reaction after he realizes Superboy is back because of him.

Besides the fact that most aliens are portrayed as being stronger than “normal people”, GL Rings are extraordinarily powerful. A skilled wielder along with numbers should be able to subdue Zod.

which ties into the magic bus being in the future and connor seeing a magical bus. it is cool how they do time travel as a way of story continuity in this season like Metron getting punched by Razer at some point in time only to fly back to his vault where Lor-Zod, an anorexic pale alien and a grasshopper at some point in time were robbing his vault.
She thinks the bus is full of chaos magic? In that case, don't spend the whole 4x23 trying to make it work
I don't think it's so much as the bus being full of chaos magic, but more so, the bus did in fact travel through the Phantom Zone, so it's possible she could use her magic to have the bus (with the team inside) return to the phantom zone. (But that's just my theory)
