I think Batman’s origin and psychology is what makes him so relatable. I feel like the trauma that makes him Batman, is what most kids and adults (myself included) find so interesting. In a world where power usually dictates everything, intelligence and intensity levels the playing field and that’s what draws so many to Batman’s character. Every time a new movie comes along, I just have to watch it and I’m 35 years old.

I think you fundamentally misunderstood the idea of the New 52, and the time period Crisis on Two Earths was made in and adapted its story from. It was set pre-Flashpoint, so pre-New 52. If you watch the movie, you'll see that there's actually infinite earths in that setting.
