One thing I love from this show is how Robin knows almost about as much as Batman about people's secret identities and things like the watch tower. Things that are kept secret from the public and even the other young justice members. really cool to see that Batman does indeed trust him

Zatanna would've made a perfect girlfriend for Dick because she is fine with his flirting and lost her father just like he lost his parents during that circus performance. I don't know about you, but Nightwing and Zatanna make a cute couple in my mind.

What I always liked about the way Zatanna was portrayed in this show was how well it does at making her relatable. She has a fun personality in terms of her rebellious yet passionate demeanor, being comfortable with Robin when he flirted with her and so much more like her determination to free her father from Doctor Fate. But despite the fun personality, Zatanna makes a lot of mistakes such as sneaking away with the team even though it was her idea which lead to her being afraid of getting into trouble. She also gets moments of vulnerability when she loses her father to Doctor Fate which she blamed herself for. And all these traits helped her grow as a character and become a fan favorite.
I really like Dick and Barbara, but this ship is just too good on YJ. Kinda wish they'd be together again. Idk Season 3 paired him up with Babs but they didn't really have any romance build up whatsoever in season 2
They actually had a build up. Very little in s1. And after that in the Canon tie-in comics. They showed how dick got his first kiss from Barbara. And their connection. They got build up as soulmates for the show.

Barbara seems kinda jealous but then again, Dick doesn't seem to even notice that. I know the comics develop their relationships a bit more, but I really don't agree with you having to keep up with the comics to be up to date with the show. The comics are supplementary material if anything. Things that are major factors for the plot and characters in the show should be developed in the show (or at least talked about. It really doesn't have to be that much)

I totally agree, I'd love to see them get back together in season 4. Considering that they have clearly cut out some of Nightwing's comic cannon toxic relationships I hope they continue to develop this much more wholesome and heart-warming relationship towards a happily ever after.
I love how practically every season has it's own unique slang. Season 1 had Dick Grayson's drop the prefix speak and Hello Megan!, Season 2 had Bart Allen's Crash and Moded phrases, Season 3 had Mother of Goat. Season 4 has a few martian phrases and almost the whole cast using these phrases. Essentially building their own dictionary of Slang

Honestly a bit sad this relationship got dropped. I get why it was dropped, but I would’ve liked if it had stuck around a bit longer. It didn’t have as much build up as the other big ships, but it was a nice cute side pairing.
Dick x Zatanna was such a good pair until they throw it it away in Season 2. I like Dick x Barbara, but the problem was that there was barely have any buildup between them in Season 2 before Season 3. They literally had one scene together in season 1 and that's it. Yeah I know there were some Tie-in comic books between seasons, but that's just completely bullshit, in my opinion. Even though I'm comic book fan, but I'm not to going to waste time buying some tie-in comic books to see what's happening in the show when they can just do it on screen. As a writer myself I find doing Tie-in materials based from TV series to be lazy writing. I rather show the development on screen so audiences can see what happen to the characters without any missing any important or major developments. That's my opinion as a writer.
Fun fact. In the comics zatana is around batmans age and they are childhood friends and were dating as teenages but batman broke up with her because zatara didnt wanna teach him magic because he could sense that batman had the potential to become really powerful but with that power he could also become evil so since he couldnt fully join the world of magic he decided the best thing to do was break it off with her but they also admitted they still have feelings for each other as adults but they dont act on it because they dont wanna do anything to mess up there friendship. Found it weird that they made zatana a kid in young justice.

I don't do it anymore but I still think they were cute together. And want to see certain things. Like how they got together and how, why and when they broke up. I think they work as first girl/boyfriend very well.

I stopped shipping chalant because of the comics. Because I know the character have more chemistry etc with different people. One reason also is that zee wants a wizard as partner.

So zatanna is around 40-50
And dick is around 20-27
But don't worry in this universe (young justice) Zatanna has been changed to be young, She was 14 when she joined the team
