One thing I love from this show is how Robin knows almost about as much as Batman about people's secret identities and things like the watch tower. Things that are kept secret from the public and even the other young justice members. really cool to see that Batman does indeed trust him

@@minfeez Actually Robin didn't know. Speedy/Roy/Red Arrow revealed it to them in episode 1 cause Green Arrow told him. The reason Robin censored himself is because newer members didn't know about it, just the original 4.

Robin looked at her for about 5 seconds and immediately called dibs. 😂His nervousness was so cute. It seemed like they both instantly liked each other.

Black Boi She’s not. Azula is voiced by Grey Griffin, who does voice Dreamer, Donna Troy/Troia, Lois Lane and a few other characters in Young Justice. While Zatanna is voiced by Lacey Chabert who played Gretchen in Mean Girls and voiced Meg in Family Guy before Mika Kunis did.

Zatanna would've made a perfect girlfriend for Dick because she is fine with his flirting and lost her father just like he lost his parents during that circus performance. I don't know about you, but Nightwing and Zatanna make a cute couple in my mind.

I really like Dick and Barbara, but this ship is just too good on YJ. Kinda wish they'd be together again. Idk Season 3 paired him up with Babs but they didn't really have any romance build up whatsoever in season 2

They actually had a build up. Very little in s1. And after that in the Canon tie-in comics. They showed how dick got his first kiss from Barbara. And their connection. They got build up as soulmates for the show.
@@serenity9579 I see your point but I have to disagree. In season 1 Barbara shows up for literally one second when Artemis is being introduced to their school. Barbara seems kinda jealous but then again, Dick doesn't seem to even notice that.
I know the comics develop their relationships a bit more, but I really don't agree with you having to keep up with the comics to be up to date with the show. The comics are supplementary material if anything. Things that are major factors for the plot and characters in the show should be developed in the show (or at least talked about. It really doesn't have to be that much)
especially since this is a new universe too I did not want babs and him getting together it did not need to happen on earth 16.

I like how they did put realism in with Robin being nervous when he was talking to her.
Funny, originally Zatanna grew up with Bruce Wayne and was the same age. Now they totally retconned her. I don't care I still love her.
I don't think it's retcon since it's suppose to be set on a different Earth or parallel universe.
Originally zatanna didn't know Bruce. They only connected the 2 in the early 2000s. nightwing and zee feels that way too. It seems sudden however, they make more sense actually. Not 100 procent sense tho

What I always liked about the way Zatanna was portrayed in this show was how well it does at making her relatable. She has a fun personality in terms of her rebellious yet passionate demeanor, being comfortable with Robin when he flirted with her and so much more like her determination to free her father from Doctor Fate. But despite the fun personality, Zatanna makes a lot of mistakes such as sneaking away with the team even though it was her idea which lead to her being afraid of getting into trouble. She also gets moments of vulnerability when she loses her father to Doctor Fate which she blamed herself for. And all these traits helped her grow as a character and become a fan favorite.

Considering that they have clearly cut out some of Nightwing's comic cannon toxic relationships I hope they continue to develop this much more wholesome and heart-warming relationship towards a happily ever after.
I’ve always been shocked how all the robins managed to end up attractive. Damian literally just has Bruce’s looks alongside Talia’s so that’s a given but the others are really lucky

I agree, although, unfortunately it's realistic. A lot of the people you think you'll spend the rest of your life with, romantic and otherwise, you tend to lose connection with them by the time you're an adult. Things drift apart, get muddled, and so on and so forth.

I love how it’s really different than the comics. The comics is more of a childhood friend and sometimes love interest of Batman. It’s kind of refreshing that this time it’s Robin.

I love how practically every season has it's own unique slang. Season 1 had Dick Grayson's drop the prefix speak and Hello Megan!, Season 2 had Bart Allen's Crash and Moded phrases, Season 3 had Mother of Goat. Season 4 has a few martian phrases and almost the whole cast using these phrases. Essentially building their own dictionary of Slang

Honestly a bit sad this relationship got dropped. I get why it was dropped, but I would’ve liked if it had stuck around a bit longer. It didn’t have as much build up as the other big ships, but it was a nice cute side pairing.

Dick x Zatanna was such a good pair until they throw it it away in Season 2. I like Dick x Barbara, but the problem was that there was barely have any buildup between them in Season 2 before Season 3. They literally had one scene together in season 1 and that's it. Yeah I know there were some Tie-in comic books between seasons, but that's just completely bullshit, in my opinion. Even though I'm comic book fan, but I'm not to going to waste time buying some tie-in comic books to see what's happening in the show when they can just do it on screen. As a writer myself I find doing Tie-in materials based from TV series to be lazy writing. I rather show the development on screen so audiences can see what happen to the characters without any missing any important or major developments. That's my opinion as a writer.

To merge such a promising pair with a quirky chimaea only to connect Dick to Barbara. Which I'm tired of already in the comics. (Yes, and objectively, Zee is much bitter). Bravo created, just great.🤦♂️

Zatanna first appeared in Hawkman vol. 1 #4 (November 1964). When she is introduced, she is on a quest to find her father Zatara who made his first appearance in Action Comics #1 but had not been published regularly for several years. She finally finds Zatara in Justice League of America vol. 1 #51 (1967). Upon finding him, there is a panel that says: (narration) "Then -- at long last! -- I saw my father! For the first time in twenty long and lonely years I saw his face before me! ..." (dialog; to Zatara) "Daddy -- ohhh Daddy!" (Dialog; from her father) "My child, my little girl! My -- Zatanna!" I bring this up to show that it is reasonable to conclude that Zatanna was in her mid-twenties when she finally found her father. By which, she had already met Batman and Robin. Now this is my head-cannon, but I always imagine Bruce to be generally no younger than 25 - 27 & no older than 30 - 32 in his average prime relative to most other main heroes appearing on the League teams. (Exculding members like Jo'nn & Diana who are thousands of years old.) But even disregarding that, she was clearly shown as a peer to other Leaguers not heroes like the Titans who were teens.
